This is a tea tin or tea canister with a design of musical instruments like guitars, banjos, horns and others against a retro pink plaid pattern. The tea tin was made by Daher, England in the 1950s and measures 6 inches high by 5.5 inches in diameter. The tea tin has a friction lid and hexagonal tin lid finial and is in very good +++ condition with minor surface wear and an excellent interior. The English tea tin could use a bit of a clean but is such a decorative retro design.  This is a vintage tea tin or biscuit tin depicting famous English cathedrals made originally to hold toffee by Edward Short & Sons, Ltd. Maidstone Kent in the 1930s. The tin has a blue background and measures 6.5 inches high by 4.75 inches square. The tin has a friction lid with an applied metal handle and features Lincoln, Durham, Lichfield and Liverpool cathedrals and the groin vaulting from the roof on the lid. The tin is in very good +++ condition with no holes or dents and only some minor scratches with some minor corrosion on the base inside. A great storage or display item. Several of these cathedrals were damaged in the bombing of WWII later.  This is a vintage black lacquer tea caddy with a design of birds and iris that were originally applied with gold, although much of that is gone. The tea caddy does have the original brass finial inner lid which is usually gone. The tea caddy measures 5.5 inches high by 4.5 inches in diameter and was made in the 1930s by a company called Golden Rule. The tea caddy is in very good ++ condition with wear to the gilding, a few light dents in the lid and some lacquer and paint chipping to the base of the tea caddy and the edge of the lid and a few other surface flaws from use. A great vintage collectible tea caddy.  6 VINTAGE 1960`S JAPAN HAND PAINTED ENAMEL FLORAL & 2 BIRD COASTERS. GOLD LEAF EDGE MEASURES 3 1/2 ROUND X 1/4H INCHES. NO CHIPS OR CRACKS EXCELLENT CONDITION. The tin was originally made by Daher or Baret for Thorne's, England The World's Premier Toffee 1940-1950s. The tin measures 3.25 inches high by 4.5 inches in diameter with a tight friction fit lid.
