This charming hand painted tile decorated with early spring landscape including two trees in the foreground and the famous Church of the Intercession on the Nerl.Cool grey and blue colors and unique technique create sophisticated poetic composition.Master Artist is V.P.Striuchkov,1987.

The church is situated at the confluence of Nerl and Klyazma Rivers in Bogolyubovo, 13 km north-east of the ancient capital of Vladimir.

Commissioned by Andrei Bogolyubsky in 1165 to commemorate his slain son, the church used to be connected with Andrew's stone castle by a gallery. The monument is built in white stone, has one dome and four columns in the interior. Its proportions are elongated on purpose to make its outline seem more slender, although this architectural solution made its interior too dark for holding divine services.

For centuries, the memorial church greeted everyone approaching the palace at Bogolyubovo. In spring, the area would be flooded, and the church appeared as if floating on water. The church itself has not been touched by later generations, although the galleries were demolished and the dome's shape slightly changed. The walls are still covered with 12th-century carvings.

In 1992, the church was added to the UN World Heritage List as part of the site White Monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal.

In excellent condition.  This is a wonderful painting done by Patty Uthey (Last Name I can not read so it is in ?). I believe the flowers are from the Magnolia tree. The pretty pink butterfly is starting to land on them. What a great gift this would be. Done in an old wooden unfinished frame.

This miniature oil sea-piece depicts a sailer in the foreground and stormy-in the background.

This is a wonderful painting by LeGrand. The colors are vibrant. There is a Certificat of Authenticity on the back from the Robert Sills Gallery Inc in California. I can not locate any information on this artist. I have seen alot of questions about art from this gallery and no one has any information on it other than it no longer exists. The frame has some repairs that were made to the detailed part (glued back on).

This is a wonderful oil painting of peach colored roses. I purchased this back on 8/11/89 in Campbell, California from a street artist. I do not remember her name and the signature on the back of this painting (that I can make out) is Inse Ashing. She was very talented and the picture speeks in reguards to that. It is in a dark brown fram with raised art in the corners. The frame does have a few scratches on it from moving. However does not take away from the beauty.

This cute 4 inch by 6 inch print was most probably meant for using in a decoupage' picture. It shows Raggedy Andy feeding tiny piglets. It is still sealed in its original plastic and probably dates to the mid 1960's. The back is marked, Geme' Art Gallery, Portland, Oregon.  This handsome print is a colorful look at a bygone time of San Francisco. It features the Presido Ave and Market Street cable car and cars circa 1940-50. The print is not signed. The measurements of the slightly scarred maple frame are 14 inches high by 18 inches wide. I don't even see any markings on the back.

This is a very nice picture. Nicely matted and framed of lace swans with hearts and 'WELCOME FRIENDS' This would make a nice house warming gift.  This is a wonderful painting of these flowers. The background is done in a array of orange, that makes the flowers stand out so nicely and soft.

The artist is Emily Shevick but I can not locate any information on her.

This picture is not framed. I just could not decide what type of frame to put on it. So it will be your choice to make and do.

This painting is done on canvas.

This is a nice picture of a lake surrounded in fall colors with a mountain in the background. It looks like you are standing right there. It may be small but it has a large impact.

The artist is "Sardei" but I can not locate any information on this person.

This is an original oil painting on canvas. It does have some minor dents in the canvas but you can not see it unless you are looking for it.

This is a wonderful painting. As you can see by the pictures. It has a wonderful white unicorn with red jewels around it's neck, sitting on a table. It has a vase (that you can see through) holding yellow roses and purple iris's.

The artist name is Bette Sutton of Huntsville, Texas. I have the original business card that came with the painting.

Unicorn & Yellow Rose Painting by Bette $280.99

This is a lovely painting on wood. It has a gold sticker and the artist signature. It has a hut, windmill, kagarooo in the sceanery. It does have some knicks on it. Not sure if they were done by artist or not. It has a shinny coating on it, so the pictures were hard to take without a glare.

This neat two picture set is matted and ready to frame. The people look Amish in their dress. The first print is entitled, Grandma calls it Hopscotch. The second is End of the Day. These appear to be photos of the originals and the entire piece measures just 5 by 7 inches. The signature is an original signature.  I don't know for sure, but I would bet that these pictures are circa 1950 or so. They are framed in light wood, birch? and measure 10 3/4 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide. They have wire on the back for hanging. Each print looks to be either handtinted or color printed. These would be sweet for a little girl's room or for a big girl's vanity! I don't see any signatures.  Cliff House Carving, is in great shape, and quite unique.
