Who is Salmon P Chase? Lived from January 13, 1808- May 7, 1873, Salmon was an American Politician and Jurist. He served as U.S Senator from Ohio an also the 23rd Governor of Ohio an U.S Treasury Secretary under Abraham Lincoln And the 6th Chief Justice of the United States. Chase, coined the slogan of the Free Soil Party, "free soil,free labor, free Men!" Salmon Chase was depicted on the 10,000.00 dollar bill, printed from 1928-1946. Chase was INstrumental in placing the phrase, "In God We Trust", on U.S coins.In 1934, it was decided that Salmon P Chase would remain on the 10,000.00 dollar bill, as he is considered to be the Father of the Bank Note. This mug is just right for big hands and warm hearts. All four fingers will fit thru the handle. We love ours. What I have is all there ARE. Not even on net. I rescued from Storage unit in Vegas. Binions? unknown to me, though Mr. Binion had a 10,000.00 dollar display which added up to a million bucks for people to take their pics in front of a real million. hmmm. Made in China is inked into bottom of coffee mug- soup-hand warmer. Cool Fact: Salmon P Chase was one of only three Non-presidents to have been on paper money. Do you know the other two? ok, give up?... Alexander Hamilton and Ben Franklin... Piece of real history  This majestic bald eagle figure with outstretched wings clutches Old Glory. This piece measures about 4 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 5.5 inches high. No identifying markings. No chips or cracks. Excellent condition.  Soldier Bear Collection Series. Ready for action, this plush bear measures about 12 inches high in a sitting position. His fatigues have an embroidered Marines emblem and US flag. The inside leg has been restitched at one time. K&K Games tush tag. No stains. Very Good condition.
