2 more interesting glasses brought from Europe by my parents, a pair of handled whiskey glasses. But these still have their silvered paper label from a later trip: Bohemia Glass Made in Czechoslovakia. They’re tall at 4 ¼ inches and narrow at 1 ¼ inches across the top, getting slightly wider and thicker at the base. The top is manufacturer ground; there is a leaf and berries engraving which seems well-executed. There is an applied handle. Each holds a maximum of 3 ounces and could be used as cordials. They are in MINT condition with no damage, chips, cracks, etc. Displayed but never used. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority, with free Delivery Confirmation, 1 ½ lbs. from 06068. #554  A beautiful pair of Kralik blown glass vases. Regardless of makers identy, a tour de force piece of glass  Heavily covered by threading with an iridized colored surface on amethyst glass with multiple pleats and dimples decoration and a scalloped top, some very tiny thread losses, smooth pontiled base. Many dealers would attribute this to Loetz but we have found proof of who made this unsigned piece. It's shape is found in the Passau Museum Catalog IV .268

Slight irregular surface on one scallop occurred in making and is not damage [see image]

Kralik made this piece circa 1900.  wheel cut designs with transparent enameled designs in the Islamic style create a stuning example of Persian/Syrian inspired designs enameled on glass imitating the finds being discovered at this period in time. Large antique enameled glass box. Attributed to Moser and I think I have found a signature, although it is very tiny and hard to know for sure, but there does appear to be a word in the glass, along lower portion of body of jar, not on the bottom of jar. You need a good magnifier to spot it. This is a large, beautiful jar with hinged lid. Enhanced with gilding, and embellished with enamel. Just a bit of wear on the gilding, but overall condition is good, no chips or cracks. Stands 3.75 tall x 4.75 wide. Bottom rim edge is quite worn and smooth, indicating a lot of age. Well worth this price! ddauMC/1.07  some loss to gilt edge on this unusual silver collared with alternating red garnet and blue stone cabachons mounted in gilt silver and inscribed, Nov. 30, 1911 Mr & Mrs Neugold to Mr & Mrs Steinberg  giant piece of Bohemian cut glass in rare shape of a cornucopia with coin silver base filled with plaster, few small flakes around bottom of top edge  rare matched pair of enameled cabinet vases decorated in the Vienna Secessionist style

Bavarian crystal manufactured at the foot of the Black Forest (Germany) is one of the most beautiful in the world. It is made entirely by hand, each piece mouth blown, handcut and then polished by master craftsmen. two Bohemian glass vases each decorated with ultra-fine filligree wire cages into which the colored glass is then blown. The glass has a paneled optic effect in addition to being caged. No written documentation of this technique has been seen by me in over 20 years of searching. Others I have spoken to have never or rarely seen any other pieces.

The blue glass example is free from defect and stands about 6inch tall X 7inch dia.

The amber vase is 7inch tall X 5inch dia with light chips around the ground top[could be ground away to perfect]

The blown cavity on the foot is not centered.

Severe closeups of each are added to show minute detail in metalwork.

Any information you might have on technique name or origin of the process would be appreciated, especially published reports.

Very heavy, *Mint condition leaded glass ashtray has 4 notches for cigarettes on the top edge. The design is nearly flawless, with a large complex central hobstar, and rows of hobstars radiating from the center as the dominant pattern. In books, the closest patterns I could find were a cut glass Heisey clock, which was made c 1940, and the pattern Panel by TG Hawkes from 1909. Elsewhere, I found contemporary Bohemian cut glass which is in this style, and believe this to be the most likely origin! But whatever the origin, the piece is well-executed, and on heavy leaded sparkling crystal. Measures 8" in diameter; height 2" 28 point hobstar in the center. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 7 lbs. from 06068. #298  Unique chartreuse green/vaseline pedestal fruit bowl with gilt trim. If you can positively identify the glass company that made this bowl please contact me.  Named the "Crown Jewels of Crystal", this Bohemian crystal is all handcut and polished by 'old world artisans' using the same tools and techniques of hundreds of years ago.

From the Queen Lace Bohemian Crystal Collection comes this creamer and sugar set by the Queen Lace Company (Czechoslovakia). It features a Cut Star Design and round bowl shape. The pitcher measures 3.5" high and the covered sugar bowl measures 4" x 4". When you hold a piece of this crystal, you will marvel at both the weight and glittering jewel appearance. The condition of each is absolutely perfect as they have been a pride of my art glass collection since 1979 and never used - MINT  A Loetz style paperweight vase that is 6 inches tall.
