What's New in the Collector's Showcase of Glass: Bottles?

Old Mrs. Stewart Liquid Bluing. Has about an inch of bluing left in bottle with cork. Tear on bottom of bottle. Needs cleaning on the front. I didn`t want to take away from orginal condition. Nice collectable.  This lot consists of a Vintage Pottery or maybe porcelain liquor jug from the Anton Riemerschmid distillery in Munich Germany. It is in VERY GOOD condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or dings but a small portion of the cork missing. It stands approx. 7" tall and approx. 4 1/2" diameter at the widest point. It has a handpainted boquet of flowers on the front. The paper "Blue Ribbon" around the neck is in German and reads "ANTON REIMERSCHMID, ENZIANBRENNEREI, MUNCHEN, GEGR.1835" on one side and "HODJLAND, ENJIAN 40 VOL %" (if we read it correctly).The part of the ribbon label that wraps around the neck also reads "ANTON REIMERSHCMID, MUNCHEN," and has a figure of a person with a axe or hammer on his or her shoulders. The rest of this label reads,"700ml. DEUTSCHES ERZEUGNIS". The red label next to the handle reads, " BAYERSICHE BAUERNMALEREI, HAND-BEMALT". It is marked on the bottom with the same figure of a person carrying the axe/hammer, and 0.7. We don't know German, and hope we have represented accurately what the labels say.  This lot consists of a Wheaton Mother and Daughter Bottle Set in Green. Both bottles are in EXCELLENT Condition with NO nicks, chips, cracks or dings. Both bottles have the same pictures and wording. The pictures are of a horses head with 5 stars below and is surrounded by a horsehoe and says "Horse Shoe Bitters" on the fronts. The reverse side show a horse in full gallop, surrounded by a Horseshoe and says,"Horse Shoe Medicine Co. Collinsville, ILLS." The "Mother" bottle measures approx.7 1/2" tall and approx. 4 1/4" wide. It has a cork but is not the original cork. The "Daughter" bottle is identical to the "Mother" except for the size which measures approx.3 1/4" tall and approx. 1 5/8" wide. It has a gold colored chain which is approx. 6" long. It's cork looks to be original. They are both marked "WHEATON, NJ." on the bottoms.  Glenmore Whiskey bottle, glass made to look like stoneware, 7 1/2" high, excellent condition.

This lot consists of a green colored bottle in the shape of the Liberty Bell by La Toscana. It is in EXCELLENT condition with NO nicks, chips, cracks, or dings. It measures approx. 2 7/8" high and approx. 1 3/4" diameter. It says "LIBERTY BELL" on the front and has no other writing. It is marked "LA TOSCANA" on the bottom.  This lot consists of a nice amber colored Wheaton bottle with a Horse's head on the front with a horseshoe surrounding it. The back has a running horse with a horseshoe surrounding it. The bottle is in EXCELLENT condition with NO nicks, chips,cracks, or dings. IT measures approx. 3" tall and 1 1/2" wide. IT is marked "WHEATON, NJ" on the bottom.  This lot consists of a mini flask shaped bottle by Wheaton with Thomas Jefferson on the front. IT is in EXCELLENT condition with NO nicks, chips, cracks, or dings. IT measures approx. 3" high and 1 1/2" wide. It is marked "WHEATON,NJ" on the bottom.  GREEN MINI BOTTLE - "IN SILVER WE TRUST 1896" and a ladies head embossed on front of bottle. "NEVADA CITY, CAL., THE MOTHER LODE COUNTRY, 72 (C)OPYRIGHT, SIERRA NEVADAS" on the back of the bottle. With partial cork. Approx. 3 1/8" tall. It is marked: "WHEATON, NJ" on the bottom.

GREEN MINI BOTTLE - "BENJAMIN FRANKLIN" and a portrait of him embossed on the front of the bottle. Approx. 2 1/8" tall. Made in Taiwan.  BLUE MINI BOTTLE - "HORSESHOE" and horse's head embossed on one side of the bottle and a horse embossed on the other side. No cork. Approx. 2 1/4" tall. Made in Taiwan.  LIGHT AMBER MINI BOTTLE - Embossed with 3 apples on the sides. No cork. Approx. 3 1/8" tall. Made in Taiwan.
