We are pleased to offer this pair of shimmering Fenton Candlesticks measuring 8.5 inches each. These are early 1920s Stretch Glass with a Gold Iridized Finish, catalogue #232. They have a six sided base, a long stem with 6 panels finishing in a paneled ball with a flat circle top. Excellent condition on both pieces of classic shaped elegant glass candle sticks. REFERENCES UTILIZED: Fenton Art Glass Id and Value Guide 1907-1939 by Margaret & Kenn Whitmyer; Fenton Art Glass A Centennial of Glass Making 1907 - 2007 by Debbie and Randy Coe; Fenton Glass, The First 25 Years by William Heacock,James Measell,Frank FentonHISTORY: Fenton opened for business in 1905 under the direction of Frank L. Fenton with the help of his brother, John W. Fenton. Initially, the factory decorated glass produced by other factories but quickly decided to move location to Williamstown West Virginia where they began manufacturing and decorating their own glasswares. It is generally accepted that in 1907 Fenton was the first company to introduce iridized glass which they called Venetian Art. Their early Carnival Glass patterns included Water Lily & Cattails, Vintage, Butterfly & Berries, Peacock Tail, Ribbon Tie, Wreath of Roses, Thistle and Diamond & Rib vases. In the early 1920s Fenton introduced one of the most desirable colors in Carnival Glass history, the exclusive Fenton Red. Shortly thereafter they introduced their line of stretch glass in the late 20s. Aside from depression era stretch glass, Fenton made NO iridized glass between the early 1930s and the 1970s. In the 1970s, Fenton reissued early patterns based on molds purchased from a number of closed glass factories and made new molds up to c.2006. ALL these new and remade glass wares were mold-marked to clearly distinguish them from the original and vintage pieces. Fenton produced exciting new glassware and reissued patterns from vintage molds until their closing in July 2011. SADLY, after over a century of some of the finest American Glassware in History, the doors closed forever at Fenton Glass Company but their legacy lives on as we pass down their exquisite glassware through the generations to come.  This bottle was manufactured in the 1920's to 1930's by the Morris Morton Drug Co. It is 6.75 inches tall X 2.25 inches wide X 1.5 inches thick. The bottle is in excellent condition, and still has most of its cork. This is one of my favorite bottles. I am attaching pictures. The Chemical Rubber Co. - Chemicals & Laboratory Apparatus - Cleveland, Ohio.  Hobson's Blackberry Root and Ginger with Cinnamon, Allspice, Cardamom and Cloves as Carminatives and Aromatics Alcohol 10%. Prescribed for simple diarrhea sometimes know as Summer Complaint. Bottle is approximately half full of a very thick liquid and the box is in fair condition. A rather unusual addition for your medicine bottle collection.

Apothecary Glass Bottle of Hobson's Blac $9.00
This bottle has a label that says Sloan's Liniment. From Dr. Carl S Sloan. Contents 2 1/2 oz. Ny, NY. Externally. For the relief of Muscular Congestion and Muscular Cramps due to exposure, fatigue, and pain. Directions for children are on the other side of the bottle. The label is complete except for a couple of areas at the very top of the label, but all the directions for use are complete. The bottle has its metal black cap in place and says on the back Made in USA. The bottom of this bottle is marked S 6 L- 76 and a 1. This bottle does not have any chips or cracks. This is a great early bottle and I love the ones with the labels on them so that you can see the contents and just what people were using back in the day. These are for collectible purposes only; the contents should not be consumed. A nice addition to your Medicine Bottle collection.  Vintage Green Glass Medicine Bottle Camphophenique Liquid. The bottle is in near mint condition, the label has no chips or cracks. The stopper is missing, but can be replaced.This will make a great addition to any Drug Store or Bottle collection.  Collection of 9 product bottles with different colors and types of glass. Kaz for colds (Kaz NY NY) was advertized as a vaporizer inhalent and America's first and finest electric vaporizer for use with electric vaporizers. Great bottle ( about 3/4th full). It comes with the box and directions. Bottle is 3 1/2 inches tall.  Nice Riker-Hegeman Bottle. Corp of NY was a drugstore chain with 105 sotres. 1914
