Lovely and rare little posey vase from Westmoreland Glass. It still have the original sticker on it

and is in mint condition. This has bulbous form. Done in a pink opalescent. It was purchased

from and family member who’s grandparents were Westmoreland dealers. Stands only 5" tall by

2 1/4" wide. I wonder if these were dealer samples myself. Made in the 1920’s.

It is signed by the artist (I can’t read name) and dated 1979.


Measures 3 ½ inches long X 2 ½ inches wide X 2 5/8 inches high to top of lid.

 Westmoreland canister with cute strawberries on the front. Measures 6 1/2 inches tall (36 oz). This canister was originally made by Anchor Hocking. Westmoreland offered them for sale in 1979-1984 and can be seen in catalog reprints from this time. No chips or cracks. Lid still has the plastic seal intact so any food items placed inside will stay fresh!

This is another outstanding example of Westmoreland's wonderful line of glass giftware! This vase, in Line 78-1, in black amethyst glass really sets off the Grecian style decoration. Hand painted of a girl with a lyre, done in white and 14 kt gold paint. Turkey tracking around the pinched neck. Measures 7 inches tall, 3 1/8 inches wide at the top; it's 4 3/4 inches across at the widest part near the bottom. No chips or cracks. Very, very faintly marked on the bottom with the embossed WG logo.  Westmoreland Princess Feather dinner plate in pale pink, Line 201, PF-28. Measures 10 3/8 inches across. FOR SALE IS A WHITE MILK GLASS MINIATURE CREAM AND SUGAR IN THE FLATTENED DIAMOND AND SUNBURST PATTERN MADE BY WESTMORELAND GLASS COMPANY BETWEEN 1950 AND 1958. THE SET MEASURES 2 1/4 INCHES HIGH X 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER, THE CREAMER HAS THE ORIGINAL BLUE AND GOLD FOIL STICKER AND ARE IN VERY FINE CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS.  This Westmoreland Milk Glass Hen on Nest is a HN-3 hen on basketweave nest. She has a red comb and eyes, a divided tail, and her head is cocked to the right. The WG logo is in the base.  This vintage footed milk glass vase/planter in the Paneled Grape Pattern was produced from 1950 to the 1970's and made by the Westmorland Glass Company and is marked on the bottom with their logo, the W inside the G. 

In the Spring of 1889 a group of investors purchased land for the purpose of constructing a new glass factory. The site located in Grapeville, Pennsylvania adjacent to the Pennsylvania Railroad main line and on a large natural gas field was to become the new home of The Westmoreland Specialty Glass Company. 

In 1924, the name was officially changed from the Westmoreland Specialty Glass Company to Westmoreland Glass Company, a name that continued until the plant closed in 1983. 

In very good condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 6 1/2 inches tall, 5 3/4 across the rim and 3 3/4 inches across the base. 

An addition to any Milk Glass or Westmorland Glass Collection.

Price is for one.  Beautiful Westmoreland Beaded Edge torte plate. Line 22, BE-13. This one is in clear crystal, and accented with Westmoreland's popular flashing colors of red (in the center), light blue (on the Zodiac symbols) and pale yellow (on the stars). You can see the Zodiac symbols on the back through the glass! Measures 14 1/2 inches across. No chips or cracks. Looks unused.   Westmoreland Glass produced this Wakefield Ruby Stained Waterford Footed Compote and was signed N. Langhorses 1981. The crimped edge is trimed with red. The size of it is 5 1/4 inches x 7 inches and is in good condition. This has been in my family collection.  Very rare early Westmoreland hatchet. No. 77-1. This hatchet is pictured in Lorraine Kovar’s book Westmoreland Glass, Volume 3, page 68. This one is a souvenir hatchet from Royalton, Minn. It also has a hand painted scene on it with an American Indian sitting before a fire smoking a peace pipe. Measures 6 inches long. One minute flea bite on the underside, in the corner of the blade. Near mint condition with just a little bit of wear to the blue paint which would be the smoke.

Wonderful Westmoreland electric mini lamp. Line 1976-1. Shade is ruby red, with that popular Ruby Floral hand painted decoration. Base is made of brass in a ornate scroll pattern. Lamp measures 8 1/2 inches tall. It is in perfect shape with no chips or cracks. No damage to hand paitned decoration. Artist signed and dated: E. Brown, 1978.  A shallow milk glass basket that measures 7.5 in. long and is 3.75 in. wide. Stands 4.5 in. tall to the top of the split handle. In displayable, usable condition although it does have a couple of nicks on the top edge on one side and a slight discoloration at the edge of the handle. I think this basket was produced by the Westmoreland Glass Co. but it is unmarked. This basket should date to about the '40's-'50's era. Pretty scalloped top edge. I believe the shallow baskets were used as jelly dishes originally. You must look closely to see the nicks, more apt to feel the roughness. Please view the images caarefully. Priced accordingly.  This is a footed pink lunch or salad plate in the Westmoreland Woolworth pattern, also referred to as Stippled Grape or Oregon Grape. Line No. 89. This plate has a smooth rim with grape clusters on a stippled border, and a star radiating from the center. Measures 8 1/4 inches across. No chips or cracks. Nice crisp detail in the pattern.  Wonderful old jelly server from Westmoreland Glass. This even has the ORIGINAL tag still

inside. Mint condition and cute as a button.

This is the Westmoreland Irish Waterford or Wakefield ruby flashed high footed champagne glass. Line 1932, WF-9. Measures 4 3/4 inches tall; holds apx 6 ounces. Perfect shape with no chips or cracks. Nice crisp detail in the pattern. Excellent flashing.

 Very nice Westmoreland urn with lid, in the pattern that's referred to either English Hobnail or the Waterford Line #300. Measures 11 1/2 inches tall. Nice crisp details in the pattern. The ruby flashing is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks.  This Westmoreland piece is referred to as either Irish Waterford or Wakefield, Line 1932, similar to WF-32. Double crimp rim that has been trimmed with ruby flashing. Ruby flashing is also around the bottom of the bowl.  Measures apx 5 1/4 inches tall, 7 inches wide. It is in perfect shape with no chips or cracks. Nice crisp detail in the hobnail design. Excellent flashing. Artist signed and dated: E. Barberio, 1981.

Very nice Westmoreland footed candy dish in the Wakefield Irish Waterford pattern. Line 1932. Measures apx 5 1/4 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches wide. Tightly crimped rim that is also detailed with ruby flashing. It is in perfect shape with no chips or cracks. Nice crips detail in the pattern. Excellent ruby flashing. Marked on the bottom with the embossed WG logo. Artist signed and dated.  This is a very nice Westmoreland Old Quilt in white milk glass flat water tumbler. Line 500, OQ-9. It measures apx 4 3/4 inches tall, holds apx 11 oz. It is in perfect shape with no chips, cracks or scratches.  It looks unused, it's so nice and shiny inside! Nice crisp detail on the pattern. It is marked with the Westmoreland logo on the bottom.  This marmalade and lid is Westmoreland's line No. 1777-1. This one is decorated with cute strawberries. Measures 5 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial. No chips or cracks. Note: This marmalade actually had two different catalog numbers: In the 1979 catalog it was referred to as No. 1717, and in the 1980 catalog it was No. 1777-1.  Westmoreland Paneled Grape Milk Glass 9 in Lipped Bowl.


Line #1881 was made by the Westmoreland Glass Company from the late 1940's - 1985.         


It has a scallop topped base - panels with very detailed grapes and leaves - and a scalloped and lipped rim.         


Measures 9 inches diameter at top and is 3 5/8 inches high.        


Condition is excellent with NO chips or cracks.   


Marked on bottom with the W G logo.      


This is a lovely pattern - bright white - glossy - an elegant serving or centerpiece bowl.

Very nice set of Salt and Pepper Shakers in the Paneled Grape Pattern #1881. 


They were made by the Westmoreland Glass Company during the 1950s to 1970s.        

    

Pattern is very distinct bunches of grapes and leaves over 9 vertical panels.       

   

NO chips - cracks - stains. Chrome lids are nice - with a couple tiny 1/16 inch nicks and minuscule wear to some holes of salt lid.       


Bottom is marked with W over G logo.      They are 4 3/4 inches tall.


They are a MUST HAVE for the Milk Glass lover or collector!

 A lovely pink glass basket produced by the Westmoreland Glass Co. in the '70's-'80's era. This basket stands 6.25 in. tall and measues 6 in. diameter. This basket is in the English Hobnail pattern. Altho this basket has been just a shelf sitter for many years it has sustained a flaw on the inside near the handle. Appears to be a light crack, You can feel it with a fingernail but is not readily visible and does not go through the glass. Impossible to pick up clearly with my camera. This will not detract from display or use. Price is reflective of this flaw.  A lovely vase in a pearlized finish of light pink carnival glass. This vase was produced in the Wildflower and Lace pattern. Stands 9 in. tall and retains the Westmoreland Glass Co. sticker. Westmoreland produced this line in the early '80's era just before they closed and the production was quite limited. Very collectable and simply a lovely vase to use or display.

This standing mantle clock in moss green was actually made as a candy container by the Westmoreland Glass Company. Measures 3 1/8 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches across, 1 5/8 inches deep. No chips or cracks.  This is a very nice Westmoreland wedding bowl in whtie milk glass. Very hard to find in this small size. Measures 6 inches tall. No chips or cracks. It is marked on the bottom with the embossed WG logo.  This Westmoreland sweetmeat candy dish in the Doric pattern is the #DO-34. This color is almond with the beaded bouquet decoration. Footed, with a ruffled rim. Measures 5 inches tall; 5 inches across. No chips or cracks. It is marked on the bottom with the embossed WG logo, and still has the original paper label inside. No damage to the beaded bouquet decoration.  A stunning glass basket from the Westmoreland Glass Co. This is a very deep ruby color glass in the Wildflower and Lace pattern. Stands 6 in. tall to the top of the twisted handle. The diameter of the ruffled top edge is 6-6.5 in. In like new condition. This was produced in the last year of operation before the Westmoreland Glass Co. closed.  Free of damage, so display and add to your ruby, basket, or Westmoreland glass collection with pride. Original sticker still attached and bottom marked. Would make a great Valentines Day gift.

Beautiful Westmoreland large bowl in the Irish Waterford pattern, also referred to as Wakefield. Line 1932, WF-22. This one has a crimped rim. Perfect for salads, fresh fruit - just about anything served in this bowl will dazzle your guests. Measures apx 10 1/2 inches across, 5 1/2 inches tall. I do not think this has every been used – there is not a scratch on it. No wear to the ruby flashing.  No chips or cracks. Nice crisp detail in the hobnail pattern around the rim.

 This is the Westmoreland Panel Grape footed swung vase in white milk glass. PG-53. Each vase will be just a little bit different, because the vase is actually swung in an arc while the glass is still hot. This one measures apx 13 1/2 inches tall. No chips or cracks. It is marked on the bottom with the embossed WG logo.  This Westmoreland plate is in the English Hobnail pattern. Could be used for either a salad plate, lunch plate, or just about anything you need a small elegant plate. Measures 7 1/2 inches square (measuring from the middle points across). Perfect shape with no chips or cracks. No surface scratches. Looks unused.  This Westmoreland Specialty Company Colonial footed vase in Line No. 185 is also known as the Three Printie Block pattern by other glass collectors, even though Westmoreland did use this name. Crimped and fluted rim. Measures 9 1/2 inches tall. This pattern is referenced in Ruth Grizel's book, Westmoreland Glass: Our Children's Heirlooms, page 4D. Most of these vases were used as oil or electric lamps. No chips or cracks.

Cute Westmoreland small basket. This basket comes in a variety of colors and decorations. This particular basket is in crystal mist (satin) glass and has a cheery holiday decoration of holly and berries. Measures 6 1/2 inches tall; apx 4 1/2 inches wide. No chips or cracks. It is marked on the bottom with the embossed WG logo and also still has the original paper label.  This is a stunning Westmoreland vase. It's the #102 blown milk glass pickle jar vase. It was first made as an ornate jar to package pickles in the early 1900s. The bottom is detailed with vertical rectangles, with rounded bottom edges. Inside each of the lower edges is a tiny vine. The middle is decorated with a band of small squares, with a small flower blossom inside each. The top of this vase is heavily decorated with with raised flower blossoms, leaves and stems.  Measures 9 1/4 inches tall. Gorgeous detail! It is in perfect shape with no chips or cracks.  Nice Westmoreland Della Robbia high footed sherbet or champagne in white milk glass. Number DR-21. Measures 4 5/8 inches tall; holds 6 ounces. No chips or cracks.  This handpainted bell in a clear red glass stands 6 in. tall and the base measures 3.5 in. diameter. Dated '83 and signed by glass artist L. Plues. It has a slightly scalloped base to add to its elegance. In like new condition. A perfect gift for someone special or to add to your own collection.I think Westmoreland was the maker but am not positive. Could be Fenton.

This one is one of the child’s motto plates, and they are relatively hard to find. It has a charming scene featuring a little girl on a fence with a squirrel. The motto on this one is: Friendship Brings Happiness. Measures 5 1/2 inches across. No chips or cracks. It is marked on the back with the embossed WG logo.  Cute Westmoreland plate is white milk glass in the 101-1 line. This one is one of the child’s motto plates, and they are relatively hard to find. It has a charming scene featuring 2 snuggling children in the yard with a wagon. The motto on this one is: Happiness is Being with Someone Special. Measures 5 1/2 inches across. No chips or cracks. It has a charming scene featuring 2 children in the yard, and the little boy is giving the a girl a balloon. The motto on this one is: Sharing That’s What Friends Are For. Measures 5 1/2 inches across. No chips or cracks. It is marked on the back with the embossed WG logo.  Very pretty Westmoreland 6 sided napkin ring. These are hard to find today, and this one in white milk glass with hand painted roses is outstanding! Measures apx 2 1/4 inches across. A pretty pink bird on a rectangular glass base. This figurine stands 3.25 in. tall. The base measures 2.5 x 1.25 in. IN unused condition but there does seem to be the tiniest nick on the beak. Not sure if it is from the mold or not. Can feel it but next to impossible to see it. I tried to do a closeup of it so use your own judgement.  Westmoreland Milk Glass Paneled Grape Lipped Compote.  

   

Pattern was called Line 1881 (also known as Paneled Grape). Made by Westmoreland Glass Company from the 1950s to 1970s.


This Paneled Grape Lipped Compote has a Bell Foot. It is white milkglass.


It measures 8 inches tall X 9 5/8 inches diameter at the top. The Bell Foot is 4 1/4 inch diameter at the base.


Condition is wonderful! NO chips - cracks - stains. Scratches is any are minuscule. It has nice sharp details. It has the original Tag.
