This fine vintage advertisement from 1947 for Whitman's Chocolates For Mother's Day is in excellent condition but is slightly yellowed. This vintage Chocolate magazine ad measures approx. 10" x 13 3/4" and is suitable for framing.  This vintage Whitman Sampler magazine ad depicts a man with a little girl and a little boy on his shoulder holding a box of Whitman's Sampler Chocolates & Confections.  Offered is an early Flue Cover featuring a colorful image of Young Girls celebrating a special occasion. Frame measures about 11 3/4" x 8 1/2".  Top of the Frame has a chain in which it can be hung.  I believe this to be a late 1800's to early 1900's piece.  Would make a fine addition to one's collection.  Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.

These satin Sphere Christmas Ornaments were hand made and from the mid 1970's. 

Holiday kits were all the rage back then containing all the supplies needed to create your own Holiday Ornaments. 

The lot consists of 1-Pink with gold rick rack trim and white beads that measures 4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches wide and 1-Green with gold rick rack with a large green gem in the center on both sides that measures 5 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches wide. 

In very good condition they do have some loose strands of satin as I have shown in my pictures. 

An addition to any Satin Christmas Ornament Collection.

One is red the other blue. In good decorative condition. I do not know if they work.  A vintage pair of paper mache' light bulb covers. These were probably made in the 1940s during the time of war time shortages of metal and lack of imports from Germany and Japan who had previously exported most of our Christmas ornaments. Doesn't seem like these would pass safety requirments today. I reccommend using them as ornamnets only. Don't place them over hot bulbs. 2.75"x 2" and in good condition. This fine vintage advertisement for a 1929 ad for Wrigley's Spearmint Gum is in excellent condition but is slightly yellowed. This Gum ad measures approx. 10 1/4" x 14" and is suitable for framing. Move your sights up.  This is a cardboard large 3-level fold dowm embossed card in incredibly bright colors and detail.  It has a small red honeycomb on the right bottom side. On the bottom flap is written "To My Valentine."  A young boy and girl are surround by a bevy of flowers and a large bird.  The background is also die-cut in gold embossing and other colors.


This is a German-made card.  It is amazing something this delicate has survived. A couple of the flowers are creased, but none are broken.


A special addition to any collection.  Very large embossed die-cut lace heart shaped valentine card.  The background is colored with gold and big white and pink flowers.  The next layer is an intricate lace surrounding an old bench under a paned window.  There are three charming children die-cut scraps pasted on the lace.


Inside is a darling large lithograph of children fishing and hooking a valentine that has been dropped by a worried little cupid.  A charming verse follows. On the back in childish writing is "To Aina Adank From..."


This card is in beautiful condition.  This is a circa 1900 embossed die-cut fold-out Valentine Card.  The heart shaped background is in soft pinks and blues on a gold and white background.  The inside layer is a unique lace fold-out that reveals a die-cut scrap cupid.  Bird and rose die-cut scraps surround the fold-out.


When the card opens it reveals a beautiful cupid lithograph with a romantic verse below.  In pencil on the back in a corner are the initials "C.B."  This is a special one.  The graphic on the embossed card is of a beautiful woman with long flowing hair. "May Every Joy Attend My Darling." The front is in a soft yellow color with embossed flowers and a die-cut edge.


Inside in beautiful script "This day the secret of my heart O let me, dear to thee impart; Its only prayer is Be but mine, disdain not this true heart-'tis thine.


The card has no tears and is in excellent condition with paper coloration expected for this age.


It is signed in pencil on the back with "Nina Adank from Verna McCarty."

Beautiful die-cut art nouvea Valentine Card.  In the center of an embossed diecut pink, white and silver background is a die-cut of beautiful woman dressed in 1890-1900 attire. 


On the inside is a lithograph of a poem written in the style of yesteryear.


The Valentine is in excellent condition with a little foxing as would be expected.  Very sweet stand up vintage card depicting young girl sewing a sampler that says "I Love You."  On the bottom of the card, it says "I sew and sew and do hope my stiches will explain that even if you do not care I love you just the same."


The card has noticeable foxing on the front.  On the back it is signed in pencil "To Mammie-From Louise Mc."  Sweet little cupid valentine card from 1918.  A cupid with large wings holds an envelop sitting on a heart saying "Cupid's Token."  Inside it says" Pretty maiden most divine, Won't you be my valentine."  On the back in faint pencil it says "To Dorothy from Lyida."  and "1918" at the bottom.


There is some foxing on the front.  Sweet graphic valentine with a cupid counting hearts in a basket.  Wonderful script below "To My Valentine."


It is signed on the back "Vera Mae from Edward Metz."

This is a super die-cut valentine on heavy card stock displaying a vintage roadster with a shy young girl and a dapper young man with a bouquet of flowers.  On the front it says "You'll be mine-wontcha?"


On the back in lovely script it says :You auto know Sweetheart of mine I really love you dearly.  And so I send this Valentine to tell you so quite clearly.


It is signed in pencil "To Stonald from Carliele."  It is in excellent condition.  When you open it up it says "You're My Valentine-Your heart I'll say belongs to me and don't you dare forget it. I'll tell the world that I never will regret it."  


It signed in pencil by Vera Mae From Helen.  This card is dated 1940 on the back.  The front shows a little blonde girl holding a valentine while a boy is riding a zebra on a carosel. It is a stand-up card but it has never been bent.


On the back it is signed in pencil "Faye Myers From Joy Stiver-1940  Little valentine with a couple carving a heart in a tree.  On the front it says "This Valentine carved on a tree."

Open it and inside a heart on it says "Means you're the one for me."  It is signed in ink by Sharon K.


The maker of this card is A-Meri-Card.

Unique little fold-out valentine card showing a boy writing on a chalkboard.  "I'm looking for you to say you'll be mine and tell me you want me for your valentine."  This card was made by the Carrington Company, Chicago, IL.  Cute valentine showing a boy and girl sitting on a ship deck.  In a heart hanging on the rail it says " Valentine Limited-Lovers Line."


On the back it says "To June Holfinger From Galen Edward Hoover."  This little card depicts a blonde boy in short pants with a little black-haired girl in a purple dress with big bow.  The card has never actually been folded down.  The colors are bright.


On the back written in pencil "To Vera Mae From Mildred."  This is a very sweet little valentine with a little girl with large eyes. Her eyes move by moving her head.  On the front of the card it says "I'd walk a mile to see my Valentine."


On the back written in ink "To Vera-From Chuck."

Large 1950 Mechanical Bank with a Lion and two children.  Moving the lion's head reveals "Is ZOO my Valentine or is it just a LION.  The back is signed "From Becky, Greg and Janet Sue Moor.  The card is excellent condition.  This is quaint 2-sided handmade valentine heart from cardboard. It is outlined in crayon.  You can see where it was cut out with scissors.  It has die-cut scraps glued to the front and back.  It is tied with ribbon on both sides.


One can imagine a small child laboring over this handmade item to give to a friend.


A nice addition to your collection.  This is a cute little humorous card with a young man standing in front of cupid's desk and saying "Dear Valentine.  I am sorry to say I couldn't buy a license today."  


On the right side of the large heart you can see some paper loss. The back is signed in pen "To Nina Adank-From Ettolrahc Tdnarbedlih"  This is very charming fold-down German-made valentine.  The front panel says "Best Wishes" with a spray of flowers.  An absolutely delightful young girl in a white dress and conical hat holds a bough of blue flowers.  The background is a large heart with embossed ribbon running through, edged in blue flowers and perforated gold punches.


This card is in excellent condition.  All paper tabs are in place and connected.  The back is signed "To Nina from Esther Hershman".  The back also says "Made in Germany."

This is a very sweet vintage valentine on heavy cardstock.  It folds down to give dimension to the card. It is marked 1921 in pencil on the back.


On the front it says "To My Valentine-followed by a verse."  When it folds down it reveals a darling little girl in a bonnet sitting on a stool.  The background is  blue flowers and embossed gold valentines.


It is signed on the back in pencil "To Dorothy From Helen With Love."


 This is a darling vintage valentine that is on heavy cardstock.  A wide-eyed young boy is singing and playing a large accordian.  It folds out to a larger card.  The colors are very bright. It is slightly frayed on one crease.


On the back is written "To June-From Helen Leopald."  This is a darling vintage valentine that is on heavy cardstock.  The background is red, white and gold.  Doves are flying downward.  The front fold down has a darling little googly-eyed boy in blue outfit.  The front says "To My Valentine-Valentine with charms so sweet. I lay this offering at your feet."


On the back is written "To Byron-From Kenneth."  The card has great colors and no tears. Great condition.  This is a very sweet small die-cut fold down valentine made in Germany.  The front says "In all Sincerity."  On the inside it says "Kind and Tender-Fond and True-I will Always-Be With You."


The charming little girl is holding a basket of valentines.  The background is blue flowers and gold trim.


In childish handwriting is printed "To Nina-From Kenneth."

This is a wonderfully colored embossed vintage valentine.  A pair of children sit on a bench holding a white bird, the girl's hat is casually hanging on the bench.  Behind them on the back fold down is a large bevy of pink roses.


This card is in beautiful condition.  The paper tab connecting the front to the back is in place and connected.  The tab holding down the front characters is there but not connected.  It does not affect the stand-up ability of the card.


The back of card says "To Dorothy-From Daddy."  Also it says "Printed in Germany.  This is very unusual card.  It only has two colors, blue and ivory.  On the front of the fold-out it says "Valentine Greetings-This Thought I pen to thee so tender, My Valentine Think kindly of the sender."  This card may be eariler than 1880.


A sweet cupid on the first fold down hands a letter to two larger cupids perched on the second fold-down. On the back is a cupid receiving the letter.  The lithograph on this particular is extremely enchanting.  It is cut out of heavy card board.  All of the tabs are in place and connected.  This is an unsigned card.


Truly a unique card for your collection.  Beautiful Whitney embossed 1880-1910 Lace Die-Cut Valentine.  The embossed background is in vibrant blue flowers and gold edging.  The lace die-cut has great detail.  On the lace are layered 4 die-cut scrapes of 2 valentines, a basket of flowers, and a sweet child.


The inside has a lovely line drawing of two children sitting on a bench.  The poem underneath is "There may be some as pretty, and others just as witty, but while my heart is beating, I'll ever keep repeating, It is you I want, my dearest, only you.  It is signed on the inside by Marjorie Albright.


On the back is the Whitney, Worcester, Mass. mark.It is in beautiful condition and has some very slight foxing that would be expected on such a vintage valentine.

 Beautiful Whitney embossed 1880-1910 Lace Die-Cut Valentine. The embossed background is in vibrant red, pink and gold in a very nice diecut pattern.  The lace diecut has great detail.  On the four corners of the front are scrap diecuts of a butterfly, rose and two hearts.

Whitney Embossed Lace Die-Cut 19th Centu $15.60

This is a lovely detailed valentine from 1880-1900.  It has a curley haired cupid surrounded by pansies.  The next layer is an intricute die cut lace pattern.  The last years is some scrape die-cuts of hearts, cupids and flowers. All of these layers have been placed on a die-cut silver and red background.


Inside the card is a beautifully detailed print.  The poem centered in the middle - Best Wishes.  May health of glow be bringing its golden sunshine stiff, and love's sweet music ringing your heart with joy to fill; around the path and dwelling may summer beauty shine, may all delights be swelling and garlands fair entwine.


On the back it is signed "To Nina From Flipper"  Thee are no tears on this valentine. It is in excellent conditon with the light foxing expected on a valentine of this age.  This is a large Whitney die-cut valentine with silver lace paper layered on red, white and gold Art Nouveau style paper intricately cut on the edges.  On top of the lace is layered scrap die-cut pictures.  This was common for Whitney valentines between 1880-1910.


Inside is a darling Cupid.  The card says "Valentines have always been such nice things to send when you want to tell your thoughts to some special friend--that I confess.  Now the thoughts I'll let you guess.


The card has not been used. It has the expected foxing for a card of this age.  There are no tears.  This valentine is in great condition.


A great addition to your collection.  This is a beautiful Art Nouveau Die-Cut with a Aqua background that is gold embossed.  The center design is of cupids.  The next layer is a colorful gold accented red and white border.  Scrape die-cuts of a beautiful foreign beauty and flowers are the last layer.


Inside is more detail of flowers and hummingbirds.  Inside it says "Since first I saw the light entrancing, Now melting soft, now glowing bright.  That through thine eyes is ever glancing.  Telling of love and love's delight, My heart no other joy has known that love for thee, and thee alone.  The card is not used.


This card is in excellent condition with the amount of foxing you would expect on paper of this age.  This is a very large 4-level, old-down, die-cut valintine on heavy stock cardboard.  All paper tabs are in place and connected.  This card is in excellent condition.


At the bottom of the card is a tiny red honeycomb. There is one sweet child in front painting a red heart.  Behind him is a hedge of pink flowers. The next level shows two young girls making valentines.  The back of the card is a large red house.  I believe this card was made in Germany.


The valentine is unsigned.  The colors are incredibility bright.  The cardstock card has some foxing as would be expected on a card of this age.

This is a large fold-down, die-cut card on heavy stock cardboard.  It has two beautiful dressed little girls in front in muted green and pink colors.  Behind them is a stand of pink flowers mounted on a red and white card.


All paper tabs are in place and connected.  This card is in excellent condition.


It is signed on the back "To Grandma and Grandpa from Bryon." When I see these valentines to addressed to parents and grandparents, I think about a small child proudly presenting this, signed.  This is an amazingly detailed early Valentine made in Germany.  It is a Die-Cut, Fold Down with a Cupid laying under a bough with a valentine in the center.  There are three children playing instruments in the front.  The bottom of the card says "To My Love."


How something this delicate has stayed together all this time is amazing.  The colors are as bright as the day they were made.  The paper tab that holds the children out in front in intact but not attached to the back card.


It is signed on the back in pencil to Mira Adams from Raymond S. Slomenski."


Great addition to your collection.  This is an early Valentine made in Germany. The detail is amazing.  It is a Die-Cut, Fold Down (4 Levels), with a tiny pink honeycomb at the bottom with red celloid behind the main picture.


It is a Victorian picture of a young boy and girl standing under a bough of blue flowers.


It is signed on back "To Momma-From Your loving daugher Cyneriva Lee."  One can just imagine how proud a young girl might have been to give this to her mother.


Excellent condition.  This valentine has great graphics and personality,  It depicts a darling blonde headed child putting a valentine into a mailbox.  On the bottom it says "Love's Greetings.  The background is a farm centered in a heart.


The colors are very strong and not faded.  It is signed on the back "Nina from Ruth."

Darling fold-down die-cut valentine with a little blonde big-eyed girl and boy in a bobbed haircut in a yellow outfit.  It folds down against a Blue Large Heart background with a smaller gold heart in the middle.  It says "To My Valentine.  It is signed in pencil on the back "To Nina-Form Herbert".  They don't come any sweeter than this little one.  It displays a Post Office at the top with a darling couple of children "smooching" behind a letter that says "To My Valentine."  At the bottom it says "Let's Play Post Office."

Pretty Risque!  On the back it is signed "To Carol M. -From Lloyd."  This is a very sweet little valentine.  The front is a cut-out heart with a mall boy on a telephone with the saying "To My Valentine." On the inside is a darling little girl in a bonnet with a umbrella.  The back is stamped "Made in Germany."  Written on the back in penci is "Dorothy from Jeannette."


Excellent condition.  The larger of the two depicts a little farm boy on a bull saying "I wouldn't FEEF if you were my Valentine." It is 5" tall and 3" wide.  On the back is written "To Grandpa from Sharon Kay."


The second valentine is a fold out with a striped cat in a sombero and playing a ukelele.  Inside it says ""UKE B Be My Valentine If Your Hear's in 'TUNE' With Mine.  The back of the card is signed "To Vera Mae from Marjorie."


Both of these valentines are in excellent condition.

Two Vintage Animal Valentines $6.50

The first valentine appears to be the older of the two.  It depicts a cupid overlooking a boy and girl in the winter.  The caption says "Why Not Mistletoe on Valentine's Day."  Someone long ago penciled over the "Why Not Mis...".  The back is signed "To Dorothy From Edith."


The second one depicts a blonde boy whispering into a little girl's ear "Be my Valentine.  Can't you Hear?  I am whispering in your little pink ear."  The back is signed "Carol from Bobby Wilson."  The first vintage valentine is on a gold heart with a charature couple with large google eyes stating "To My Valentine."  It is from the 1920s.  It is signed on the back "To Vera Mae Phillips from Harold."  It is 3.25" high and 3.25" wide.


The second one is a vintage heart with a cut out "O" for "Openly asking you to be my Valentine." It is not signed on the back. The bottom of the card has a crease mark.  The first of this group is a darling fold over Sailor.  On the front it says "Gobs of Love" and on the inside "I've been around, I've seen the world, I've sailed the briny deeps.  But if you'll be My Valentine, I'll stay home for keeps! I'll Settle Down For You."  It is signed "To Mr. Drackert, from Becky Greg and Janet Sue Moor. The sailor picture is also on the back.


The second valentine has a sewing theme displaying a little blonde girl holding a very large needle.  It says " I 'Needle" Valentine Sew.  Be Mine."  It is not signed.  It is 4.5" tall and 2" wide.


Both are in excellent condition.  One of these vintage cards has a golfing theme displaying a little boy setting up to tee off.  The card says "I'd be up to PAR with you as my valentine.  It is 3" tall and 3.25" wide.  It is made by A-Meri-Card and signed on the back "from Sharon Kay."


The second valentine shows a sweet couple in formal attire and says "Because you are so sweet and fine I want you for my valentine."  It is signed on the back "To Grandma from Sharon Kay."  It is 3.5" tall and 3.5" wide.


Both are in excellent condition.
