Vintage 1975-79 Gorham Crystal Snowflake Ornament/Medallion. Medallion is on a silver color chain. Still in original Gorham red flannel holder. Gently used & in very good condition..Please check photos..  This white jasperware Christmas Ornament was made by Wedgwood in 1998 and is marked on the back. Beautifully detailed with Mary, Baby Jesus, Joseph and a donkey under an open Stable, it comes in it's original box and has a gilt ribbon for hanging with the #500121-1298 on the box. Wedgwood was founded on May 1, 1759 by Josiah Wedgwood who worked with the established potter Thomas Whieldon until 1759 when relatives leased him the Ivy House in Burslem, allowing him to start his own pottery business. In 1765 Wedgwood created a new earthenware form which impressed the then English Queen consort Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz who gave permission to call it Queen's Ware; this new form sold extremely well across Europe. In 1812 Wedgwood produced their own bone china which, though not a commercial success at first eventually became an important part of an extremely profitable business. In 1987 it merged with Waterford Crystal to create Waterford Wedgwood, an Ireland-based luxury brands group. After the 2009 purchase by KPS Capital, Wedgwood became part of a group of companies known as WWRD, an acronym for Wedgwood Waterford Royal Doulton. Wedgwood is still used as a generic term to describe the company's main products. In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches wide. Free shipping in the continental US.  This fine porcelain ornament is a fully dimensional bell that actually rings and still has it's original tag that is marked: The Danbury Mint / MBI / The 2009 Irish Ornament / Celtic Bell. It features hand-painted shamrocks, shimmering 23kt gold accents and emerald-colored Swarovski crystals. Decorative Celtic knots are intricately woven, framing a beautiful Irish countryside on one side and a rainbow soaring over a pasture on the other side. The official year of issuance, 2009, is hallmarked on an oval-shaped clapper within the bell. Production is strictly limited and will end forever on December 24, 2009. Five hand painted porcelain bisque Christmas village scene buildings, part of the Home Town America line from the mid 1990s. Included are the Grain Mill, Schoolhouse, Train Station, Farmer's Supply Co. Feed and Grain store, and the Barn with Silo. A bonus Japan made ceramic house is also included. The buildings are about 3-1/4" to 4 inches wide, 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 inches tall. They have openings at the bottom to accommodate Christmas light bulbs and cords, as well as strategic openings at various dormers and windows to let the light shine through. Bumpers on the bottoms to protect tabletops are intact on all five pieces. All are marked Home Town America Collection Christmas 1995 with the incised copyright date of 1994. This cute 1950s Christmas Santa Claus figure by Holt Howard is 8-1/4 inches tall. He has a painted porcelain head with a big smile and one winking eye. Santa has a red flocked paper cone body and tall cap trimmed with white bottle brush chenille fur. Lacquered holly leaves and berries decorate the hem of his suit and Santa holds a big plastic candy cane in his white chenille hands (you can replace the candy cane with a bottle brush tree or whatever you like). Original foil HH Japan label is intact on the bottom, excellent vintage condition.  This 3 piece Lady Anne Tea Set Crystal Christmas Ornaments were made in Germany for Gorham and are marked with stickers on the bottom. The box is marked: Lady Anne / Set of 3 Tea Set Ornaments / Full Lead Crystal / SKU#6195622 / Made in Germany. In new condition the teapot measures 2 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide, the creamer measures 2 3/41 7/8 inches tall and 2 inches wide and the sugar bowl measures 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches wide. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.  Vintage glass Christmas Ornament in the pointed tear drop shape marked with an indented "Japan" on the metal cap. While we do not know for certain, we believe this to be a vintage piece, likely dating from the 1950's-1960's period. Mainly dark blue & silver colored Christmas ornament which is rounded in the center but decreases to a point at the bottom (to create the shape which we believe is referred to as tear drop), further having a deep indent or concave portion on one side which gives a "flatness" to this side. The shiny silver concave interior has impressed small petal type shapes which step down in levels (the top level having some light orange paint on it) to a center with blue paint. The outside of the ornament has two horizontal bands of the dark blue iridescent color separated by a wide central matte finish light silver band, with thin white line decoration. On the silver band is hand painted some white and red colored flowers or flower petal shapes (3 of these around the back side) with red curved lines inbetween. The white on the flowers is a base onto which has been glued black glitter (with this glitter present more fully on some flower petals than others, overall it's probably still about 50%+ still present). The glass point at the bottom of the tear drop is curved and smooth (no chips) and may also be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. Measures about 2 1/8 inches in greatest width and 3 3/4 inches in length from the tear drop tip to the top of the rounded metal hanger (we have shown with a quarter in the images for size comparison). Overall in very nice, very usable condition. There are no visible chips, cracks or breaks on the ornament. The metal cap end, while secure for hanging, can be easily lifted up revealing a curved chip at the top of the glass (but this is mainly covered by the cap; the cap sits at an angle on the top and depending on that angle if you look very closely you might see the bottom of the curved chip but this won't be visible hanging on a tree). There is some age wear/darkening on the cap. There is some age spotting, light and dark pin dots/spots, some rubbed spots/areas, some scratches & scrapes and other general surface wear. The concave portion is dusty, but we have not attempted to clean and are selling as is/as found. While this glass Christmas tree ornament (Xmas ball, Xmas ornament) is light in weight, this will need to ship via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail due to the type of box needed to pack with sufficient cushioning (tissue paper, bubble wrap and plastic peanuts) so that it arrives safely. There is no indication of manufacturer or country of origin on the metal caps or elsewhere. While we do not know for certain, we believe these to be vintage pieces from the style, caps and wear, likely dating from the 1940's-1950's period. These are overall silver colored but you need to know that most of the outer silver paint has worn away. On the outer surfaces you can see remains of the shinier silver outer coating particularly towards the bottom of the bells, but most of the outside has a duller silver color due to the wear. On the interior of the bells, however, the silver is all there, bright and shiny. There is no other decoration on these pieces. The interior "knockers" consist of a glass ball attached to wire which is then looped through another wire so that the knockers move freely and make a slight glass knocking sound when shaken (one bell has a slightly higher tone than the other). Each glass bell ornament measures about 2 1/4 inches in height with about a 1 3/8 inch diameter to the bell portion on the lower side. While still in very usable condition, these ornaments show their age mainly via the silver color wear as stated prior. There are no visible chips, cracks or breaks on the ornaments. While these ornaments can still be easily hung by the metal caps, the caps are not firmly attached and when tugged can become loose. The metal caps show age wear, with one showing a lot more darkening/rusting than the other. One bell has a visible dark circular area on the glass near the cap. The outer glass shows some spotting/age spotting, rubbed spots, scratches, etc. These look slightly dirty, but we have not attempted to clean and are selling as is/as found. Even with the evidence of age, these still would make an interesting addition to any Christmas tree. While these glass Christmas tree ornaments (Xmas ornament) are light in weight, these will need to ship via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail due to the type of box needed to pack with sufficient cushioning (tissue paper, bubble wrap and plastic peanuts) so that they arrive safely. Sold as a pair, these are 2 vintage glass Christmas Ornaments made in Poland in the pointed tear drop shape with concave or indented centers and painted swirl type decorations. These 2 ornaments are a matched pair with similar design but executed in differing colors. While we do not know for certain, we believe these to be vintage pieces, likely dating from the 1940's-1950's period. Ornament #1 Marked with an indented "Poland" on the metal cap. Largely gold colored Christmas ornament which is rounded in the center but decreases to a point at the bottom (to create the shape which we believe is referred to as tear drop), further having a deep indent or concave portion on one side which gives a "flatness" to this side. The silver concave interior has impressed petal type shapes which step down in two levels to a center flower portion which has been painted green. There is some dark glitter and/or tiny dark spotting visible on close inspection on the silvery concave decor. The outside of the ornament while having a gold background color has painted onto it two slight curves or slight swirls. Each swirl has a reflective paint band (blue or red) with a white band next to that which has been covered with black/silver glitter and then another white band which has a pointed line pattern along the outer edge. Above and below the concave portion is also some of the glitter and white lined decor. The glass point at the bottom of the tear drop is curved and smooth with a ball to it's end (no chips) and may also be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. Measures about 2 1/4 inches in greatest width and 3 3/4 inches in length from the tear drop tip to the top of the rounded metal hanger (we have shown with a quarter in the images for size comparison). Overall in very nice, very usable condition. There are no visible chips, cracks or breaks on the ornament. The silver concave interior has impressed petal type shapes which step down in two levels to a center flower portion which has been painted orange. There is some dark glitter and/or tiny dark spotting visible on close inspection on the silvery concave decor. The outside of the ornament while having a light green background color has painted onto it two slight curves or slight swirls. Each swirl has a reflective paint band (medium green or purple) with a white band next to that which has been covered with black/silver glitter and then another white band which has a pointed line pattern along the outer edge. Above and below the concave portion is also some of the glitter and white lined decor. This ornament is made of a very light weight ornament ball, probably some sort of an early plastic. It has either paper or felt features, missing one eyebrow, has paper feet along with a cloth string attached to his hat, string is broken but could easily be replaced. It is about 3 1/2" tall and about 2 1/4" across the widest part, has an estimated age of 1960's and appears to have been made in Japan. A nice addition to your Christmas collection or decor. Please see our listings for additional Christmas items.  Sold as a pair, these are 2 vintage glass Christmas Ornaments, one marked made in Poland and the other marked made in Japan, in the pointed tear drop shape with concave or indented centers and painted with a red flower decoration which reminds us of poinsettias. While we do not know for certain, we believe these to be vintage pieces, likely dating from the 1950's-1960's period. Ornament #1 Marked with an indented "Poland" on the metal cap. Largely red and very pale green Christmas ornament which is rounded in the center but decreases to a point at the bottom (to create the shape which we believe is referred to as tear drop), further having a deep indent or concave portion on one side which gives a "flatness" to this side. The shiny silver concave interior has impressed long petal type shapes with some green paint on them and a center with red paint. The outside of the ornament has a center light green band with red above and below. There are white hand painted lines on the red near the indented part with thin white lines circling the ornament on either side of the pale green band. On the green there are two 6 petal red flowers or poinsettias on the back side with 3 flower petals on either side of the concave section. The flower petals in all cases were once rimmed with black glitter but this glitter is only at most 50% still there (where the glitter has been worn away you can still see the white base lines). The glass point at the bottom of the tear drop is curved and smooth (no chips) and may also be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. Measures about 2 1/8 inches in greatest width and 3 3/4 inches in length from the tear drop tip to the top of the rounded metal hanger (we have shown with a quarter in the images for size comparison). Overall in very nice, very usable condition. There are no visible chips, cracks or breaks on the ornament. The metal hanging cap is fixed securely to the ornament. There is some age spotting, many light and dark pin dots/spots, some rubbed spots/areas, scratches and other general surface wear. The concave portion is dusty, but we have not attempted to clean and are selling as is/as found. Ornament #2 Marked with an indented "Japan" on the metal cap. Silver and whiteish Christmas ornament which is rounded in the center but decreases to a point at the bottom (to create the shape which we believe is referred to as tear drop), further having a deep indent or concave portion on one side which gives a "flatness" to this side. The shiny silver concave interior has impressed small petal type shapes and a center with deep pink/red paint. On the outside of the ornament it is basically vertically half shiny silver (around the concave portion, but probably 50% of the shiny surface has been worn away here) and half a white/matte finish silver color on the backside. On the shiny silver part you can see the remains of what was once a cross hatch design in black glitter, with the base cross hatch still visible but the bulk of the black glitter is gone/worn away. On the back whiteish matte finish silver part are painted two 6 petal flowers or poinsettias in a red iridescent paint. These look like they were also once rimmed in black glitter, but the greater bulk of that is also gone. The glass point at the bottom of the tear drop is curved and smooth (no chips) in a ball like fashion and may also be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. There is a touch of remains of lines of glitter that separated the pink and silver areas. On the silver portions if you look very closely you can see some curvy line designs (we don't know if these ever had decoration or paint on top of them, there is not paint/glitter wear on these lines). While we do not know for certain, we believe this to be a vintage piece, likely dating from the 1940's-1950's period. The silver concave interior has impressed long petal type shapes with a center flower portion which has painted blue highlights and a center slightly yellow portion with some black glitter on it. On the darker side a cross hatch design has been made in lines which used to have dark glitter on them but almost all the dark glitter is gone (where the glitter was you can still see the pink base lines, many with silver peeking through). There is a touch of remains of a line of glitter that separated the two pink colors. On the back pink side there is a hand painted pink bell with white ribbon with black glitter on the pink bell. Neat small vintage glass Christmas Ornament in the pointed tear drop shape which has no marking as to country of origin or manufacturer on the metal end cap. While we do not know for certain, we believe this to be a vintage piece from the style and cap, likely dating from the 1920's-1930's period. Small glass Christmas ornament which is rounded in the center but decreases to a point at the bottom (to create the shape which we believe is referred to as tear drop), further having a deep indent or concave portion on one side which gives a "flatness" to this side. With this ornament vs. some of the others, when looking at the concave section while it looks like it has a silver base color, you can see through this to see the rounded outside of the ball if you hold this up to a light, that is it appears translucent. The silver concave interior is in a ridged four sided petal shape with 2 pink highlights at the lower center. The outside of the ornament is a medium blue color which has been decorated with a curved, all-over netting effect. Likely these curves were originally detailed by glitter, but the glitter is almost totally gone with the netting being suggested by a faded white (?) base color. The glass point at the bottom of the tear drop is curved and smooth (no chips) and may also be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. Measures about 1 1/8 inches in greatest width and 3 inches in length from the tear drop tip to the top of the rounded metal hanger (we have shown with a quarter in the images for size comparison). Overall still in very nice, very usable condition even with the age wear noted above. There are no chips, cracks or breaks on the body of the ornament. While the metal cap is firmly attached, if you look very, very closely you can see between the metal cap prongs that there is some chipping to the top of the ornament under the cap and there is an extra curved piece of glass under one of the cap prongs on the side of the top of the ornament (we don't know if the chipping under the cap and extra glass occurred in manufacture or whether someone else reglued the cap firmly to the base, but it is firm and we are reporting what we see). The metal cap itself shows a lot of expected age darkening/wear. On the ornament body, in addition to the above mentioned wear, there is noticeable paint loss to the blue coloring, scrapes to silver, discoloration/spotting, and other wear. But despite this we love the great aged look to this piece which would still enhance any tree. The concave portion is slightly dusty/dirty, but we have not attempted to clean and are selling as is/as found. We have grouped these 3 together because of similar coloring which we think would look good hanging on the same tree, but the colorings are not identical. All are silver and a light blue, with the blue differing with each of them. The ball is a more greenish blue or turquoise color, with the tear drop ornaments both having a truer blue color, one a lighter blue and the other a light/medium blue (not a traditional darker blue). While we do not know for certain, we believe these to be vintage pieces, likely dating from the 1940's-1960's period. Ornament #1 Vintage round glass Christmas Ball marked with an impressed "Made in U.S.A." on the metal cap. This could be a Shiny Brite ornament, but since it is not marked that, we don't know who made this for certain. Measures about 2 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches in height to the tip of the rounded metal hanger (we have shown with a quarter in the images for size comparison). We do not see any raised glass pontil on this piece, so we do not know if it was hand blown. Basically a silver colored ball with a wide center band of blue/turquoise onto which has been hand painted pairs of open linked diamond shapes in pale red, pink and white. While this is certainly a usable vintage ornament to add and fill in on the Christmas tree you need to know it shows a great deal of age wear. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. However, in person the ornament "looks old" (while still shiny, not a shiny new appearance) with a lot of paint loss (including on the diamonds and a scalloped trim above them), scuffing, scratches, dirt/dark dots, etc. It looks like there once was perhaps white glitter lines circling the ball, but these are largely gone with just the suggestion left. The metal end cap is firmly attached, but does show some rust, age/pitting wear, etc. Perhaps some of the scuffing/dirt could be cleaned off, but we have not attempted to do so and are selling it as is/as found. The shiny silver concave interior has impressed small petal type shapes which step down to a center with light blue paint. The outside of the ornament has two horizontal bands of the light blue iridescent color separated by a wide central matte finish light silver band, with thin white line decoration. On the silver band is hand painted some silver and magenta colored flowers or flower petal shapes. There are the remains of black glitter on the silver flower petals, but much of this is gone. Measures about 2 1/8 inches in greatest width and 3 3/4 inches in length from the tear drop tip to the top of the rounded metal hanger (we have shown with a quarter in the images for size comparison). Overall in very nice, very usable condition but with the age wear noted above. There are no visible chips, cracks or breaks on the ornament. The metal cap end, while secure for hanging, can be easily lifted up revealing some unevenness/tiny chipping at the top of the glass (but this is fully covered by the cap). There is some age spotting, many light and dark pin dots/spots and pit dots, some rubbed spots/areas, scratches and other general surface wear. The concave portion is dusty (the light brown in the center on the image was dust which we have since gently removed), but we have not attempted to otherwise clean and are selling as is/as found. Silver and light/medium blue Christmas ornament which is rounded in the center but decreases to a point at the bottom (to create the shape which we believe is referred to as tear drop), further having a deep indent or concave portion on one side which gives a "flatness" to this side. The shiny silver concave interior has impressed long petal or ray lines/shapes with a bit of blue paint at the center. The outside of the ornament has two horizontal bands of the light blue iridescent color separated by a wide central matte finish light silver band, with thin white line decoration. On the silver band is hand painted what we are guessing is a butterfly or other winged insect type shape which is shown above 3 petals which we believe are to suggest a flower. This decor appears three times around the backside, but there is a great deal of wear to it. One of the butterflies is blue colored while the other two are silver (likely the blue has worn away on the other two). The petals appear to have originally had a silver base with black glitter on top, now you can see the silver (although some of this is very worn) with only the suggestion of the black glitter remaining (most is gone). The glass point at the bottom of the tear drop is curved and smooth (no chips) in a ball shape and may also be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. There are also the remains of glitter lines separating the pink and blue sections, but much of this glitter is gone (with a lot of glitter gone in the underside flower, also). There is a small raised dot at the bottom of the ball (hidden within the flower) which may be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. What is obvious is what a terrific "hypnotic swirl" design this piece has all over the outside in beautiful silver glitter...it is very eye-catching! While we do not know for certain, we believe this to be a vintage piece, likely dating from the 1930's-1950's period. Small round Christmas ball ornament with a deep indent or concave portion on one side which gives a "flatness" to this side. The concave section like the rest of the ornament is a light silver in color with some pink paint like flower petals surrounding the lowest inside raised portion. Rather than lines or rays, the concave section walls have sort of a "double v" or diamond type pattern. The top rim of the indented section is rimmed with black glitter. The outside of the ornament once had alternating lines of what looks to be black and white glitter and perhaps something else, but there has been a great deal of wear with only the suggestion of this still there. There is a small raised dot at the bottom of the ball which may be the pontil from hand blowing, we're not sure. Measures about 1 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 3/8 inches in height to the tip of the rounded metal hanger (we have shown with a quarter in the images for size comparison). This ornament is in usable condition but definitely shows its age. Each marked or impressed on metal cap with "West" on one and "West Germany" on the other, so these were made in the 1950s-1980s period (we don't know when during this time, the Berlin Wall fell in 1989). These do show expected age/use wear via many small spots scratched to silver on the turquoise blue surface/paint loss, other wear scratches and spots, and glitter loss.
