Sterling silver earrings of intarsia mosaic inlay; the hand-cut stones include mother of pearl in the stud, and black jet and silicon opal in the drop. 1-5/8 inches long by 9/16 inch wide. Hallmarked "Sterling".  I am listing this Native American Concho belt for a dear friend of mine who is close to 90 years old. She bought it many years ago out West in one of her travels. It's a nice length for the modern women, which is not always the case with antique and vintage jewelry. It is 43 inches and is a perfect weight; not too heavy to pull at the belt loops, and not too light to bend the metal. There are 18, one and a half inch discs that are held together with rings. I have not polished off the patina. It is marked on the back J.A. Sterling. Concho belts are a uniquely Southwestern art form, dating back to the Bosque Redondo period of Navajo history. With their simple tools and forges, Navajo and Zuni silver workers were able to create bold and intricate pieces that were always among their owners most prized possessions. Though modern pieces are often garish, the best antique belts have an understated yet distinctive look like this one. There has been an ever increasing demand for silver over the last two decades, with prices rising faster than that of gold no doubt due to the fact that demand far outweighs supply. This Concho belt weighs in at 116.23 grams, or 4.1 ounce.  Made of semi-precious stone; onyx, lapis, coral, amethyst, jade, and turquoise; this gorgeous necklace is made to impress. Done in a festoon style with a huge light yellow onyx center and dangles that drop another two inches. The multiple strands have a hook closure and measure 20 inches on the inside length. The coloring of the coral and lapis beads is not so sharp, with the coral being more of a brown. It was impossible to adjust all the colors to their true hues in my photos. Condition: The center stone was cut through with a saw when making, but does not affect the stability.  Vintage Mexican-silver mask pin with a black onyx face. The back is stamped "Mexico" and "silver". About 1-3/4 inches high by 1-1/2 inches wide. Circa 1940. Very good condition. The safety clasp is in good working order.

Breathtaking old Navajo Indian sterling silver bracelet of gorgeous blue turquoise. This bracelet has an inner circumference of about 6-1/2 inches including the 1-1/4 inch opening. The front is about 2 inches wide. The stone is set slightly off-center; it looks beautiful when worn: the sides of the bracelet have wonderful silver-work. This Navajo bracelet is not hallmarked, but we guarantee that it is sterling. We do not know the age.
