1930s WESTERN SADDLE BOLA, What a GORGEOUS PIECE OF JEWELRY. Made by Robbins Co., Attleboro, Massachusetts. What a beautiful piece of jewelry. Scaled for a woman, this western saddle bola is intricately detailed with a floral motif. It is marked Robbins Co., Attleboro. The Robbins Company in Attleboro, Massachusetts (once known as "The Jewelry Capital of the World") has been in existence since the late 1800s, and made high quality jewelry, medalians, and military medals. I am not sure, but based on other pieces of jewelry made by Robbins Co, I believe it to be from the 1930s. It measures approx. 2 3/8 " high x 1 1/4" across. Such a unique item - you won't find another like it online!! This wonderful vintage ca 1956 Demi-Parure set from the White Stone Line by Monet features Tulip form white stones set in shiny gold-tone mountings. The set includes matching clip earrings, bracelet and necklace. Condition: in near perfect condition, with very light discoloration to metal on back of each piece. Necklace is 14 ins long, Bracelet is 7 1/2 ins long, Earrings are 1 3/8ins long Facts On Monet Jewelry: Originally founded under the name Monocraft Products Company in Providence, RI in 1928 by Michael and Jay Chernow. In 1937, the company began manufacturing durable, quality jewelry under the trade name Monet. From 1934-late 1950, Edmond Mario Granville was the company's sole designer. His background was in fine jewelry from Cartier. Over their 75 year history, Monet introduced several technological advancements including the friction ear clip and the barrel clutch for pierced earrings. During the 1940-1950's their jewelry had an average price of from $4 to $20. In 1968, the company was acquired by General Mills and in 1989 by Crystal Brands and then in 2000 became part of Liz Claiborne and remains in operation today.  A vintage signed Trifari brooch with high polish and brushed gold tone leaf design accented with channel set faux pearls; reverse with TRIFARI crown and copyright mark, dates from 1955 [most likely dates to 1960-70's].
