These gems do not have much of a star effect but you can see a bit of it at certain angles. Natural stones do not show the star effect like the synthetic ones. Very pretty gilded silver Chinese brooch, with decoration on roundels containing Chinese characters. The turquoise and purple colours that appear to be enamel are actually kingfisher feathers - an ancient technique used in Chinese jewellery. The feathers are attached to the metal. There is loss of some of these to the borders of the brooch, and some of the leaves, but overall, this doesn’t detract from the effect.Brooch measures 35 mm wide by 21 mm high (1.3/8 inches by 13/16 inch). The rear is stamped "Y E, Q S."  This is a beautiful sterling silver black onyx ring. The size is 7.5. The face of the ring measures 21mm X 15mm.  These simple modern hinged post style pierced earrings are in MINT condition and marked, 925 for sterling. They are a simple half hoop with inset marcasites along the full length. They measure 7/8ths inches high and 1/8th inch wide.  Large sterling heart earrings with multi gemstone inlay of coral, sugilite, turquoise, malachite, lapis. It is a South Western motif. They are marked on the back Q.T. Sterling. The condition is excellent. They measures 3/8" long. <p> The condition is excellent.  Fabulous signed modernist turquoise, lapis and sterling ring. The size is a 6.25. It is signed but I cannot make out the signature. As you can see it is turquoise atop a layer of lapis set in sterling. There is a sterling band that separates the two stones. As you can see by the pictures it sticks up quite high.

All three bezel-set cameos are nicely carved with each woman having a flower in her hair. Settings are beautiful with a leaf, wire and bead design and have polished and oxidized portions to bring out detail. This vintage shell cameo brooch and clip-back earring set are in excellent,original and unpolished condition. Brooch has an old-style C clasp, earrings have secure clip-backs. Size: brooch 1 3/4 x 1 3/4, earrings 1 1/8 x 1 1/2 inches.  8-inch sterling silver toggle bracelet of brown jasper and pale-yellow citrine; this bracelet is just under 1-1/2 inches at the widest point.
