A center with a mine cut diamond surrounded with half pearls shading from cream to gray mounted on a wavy rayed sun burst with a cresent moon make this 14k yellow gold watch pin a far different example than usually seen. You will look a long time till you see anything like this one again. It has so much Victorian charm and style.  True Victorian ornate oval floral broach, In excellent condition, Measuring approximately 2 inches x 1 1/2.  These carved Asian earrings are hand-carved in the form of globe-shaped vases with upper handles on flared, four-footed bases. Each vase is ¾" high; total height with ear wire is 1 ¼". One vase has a tiny notch chip on one side handle and one in the center of one side of the foot.

The translucent gemstone appears to be carnelian—it is not glass. The carefully fitted hinged bar fittings are 14K (tested) and the newer ear wires are 14K gold-filled.

The earrings are part of a small estate lot we found that contained 18th century paste jewelry and Victorian gold. We date them to prior to 1900.

The pin is 1 3/8" wide and 1" high; the horseshoes are held together with a sturdy rivet and the clasp is the mid 19th century C style.

Nice vintage Victorian (or Edwardian) brooch with a center cameo surrounded by 4 circles of seed pearls on an antiqued copper mount. Unsigned. 1-1/2" in diameter. Good to very good condition. 1880-90s.  Large Eisenberg Original Oval Rhinestone Brooch measuring 3'' wide and 1 3/4'' tall. Has the dot matrix Eisenberg mark used from 1935-1945 and the letter Y stamped into the frame. Set in a heavy, pot metal frame, all the large stones are prong set and accentuated with Eisenberg's characteristic decorative pave icing. These early Eisenberg pieces were very well made and have held up extemely well. We only find a tiny pin-point sized scratch on one of the larger stones. This wonderful Eisenberg Original Brooch was likely made in the mid to late 1930s because of the metal shortages during World War II, which forced a switch to sterling.  paveed in rose cut diamonds with rubies in wings and throat, set in silver with 14 k yellow gold back, signed ''Mettal'' on pin  hand engraved setting holding a firery opal cabochon, assayed 14k unmarked

This dainty Victorian era bar pin is rendered in two tones and features a line of lucky clovers within two circular-capped ends.

The bar is 2 1/4" long and 7/16" wide. The clovers and the arcs at each end are polished rose-gold filled or gold-plated finish, the remainder of the pin has a "bloomed" matte finish yellow. Tiny bosses (balls) and minute sun-rays on the ends are very fine in detail and show no damage. The overall finish has darkened slightly but I prefer not to polish antiques of this period, circa 1860.

The silver color metal pin shaft secures under a wide curled clasp. Originally worn at the collar or to secure a lace scarf or fichu is in wonderful condition and adds a grace worn singly in or in small groupings.

Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell (pronounced ''be'' ''din'' ) OM, GCMG, GCVO, KCB (22 February 1857 – 8 January 1941), also known as B-P or Lord Baden-Powell, was a lieutenant-general in the British Army, writer, and founder of the Scout Movement.

After having been educated at Charterhouse School, Baden-Powell served in the British Army from 1876 until 1910 in India and Africa. In 1899, during the Second Boer War in South Africa, Baden-Powell successfully defended the city in the Siege of Mafeking. Several of his military books, written for military reconnaissance and scout training in his African years, were also read by boys. Based on those earlier books, he wrote Scouting for Boys, published in 1908 by Pearson, for youth readership. During writing, he tested his ideas through a camping trip on Brownsea Island with the local Boys' Brigade and sons of his friends that began on 1 August 1907, which is now seen as the beginning of Scouting.

After his marriage to Olave St Clair Soames, Baden-Powell, his sister Agnes Baden-Powell and notably his wife actively gave guidance to the Scouting Movement and the Girl Guides Movement. Baden-Powell lived his last years in Nyeri, Kenya, where he died and was buried in 1941.

A rare piece of scouting from Britian in the formative years.

BEAUTIFUL 10 K GOLD CHAIN NECKLACE AND STAR OF DAVID PENDANT, IT COMES IN LOVELY VELVET BOX AND IT SEEMS NEVER USED, PERFECT FOR A GIFT GIVING,CHAIN MEASURES ABOUT 16 inches long and pendant 3/4 of an inch.  This circa 1890 Japanese gilt brass stickpin shows the Eastern influence on jewelry design during the Aesthetic Movement of the late 19th century when naturalism and asymmetry were favored.

The stickpin’s oval top is ¾" high and a little more than ½" wide and has a dark golden finish over brass. The intentionally oxidized design of clouds is set with three bright rose pink glass cabochons. The characters below may be a form of good luck; I could only translate one as a sort of blessing in modern Chinese (which is related to an older Japan language system used prior to 1900.)

The full height of the stickpin is 2 5/8" and the side of the shaft has a partial stamp of maker’s hallmark which is not decipherable. The stickpin is in lovely condition with no damage and the only wear to the gilding being on the upper part of the pin shaft.

This special accessory comes in a box which itself is a special display item. It is blue velvet with a satin-lined lid showing the jeweler’s name and address. The bottom is a darker blue velvet with a pocket for the stickpin (which could hold other pins too!). It closes with a push clasp, the button is carved mother-of-pearl shell. The box, too, is in super condition with no evidence of wear.

This is a store Special and does not qualify for further discount, however, most shop items are eligible for the current special (see top of page) so please be sure to browse. New items are added every day!
