Cameo stickpin is 10K yellow gold and the cameo is carved in high relief with great detail to the hair. The top of the stickpin measures 3/4" x 1/2" and the condition is very good.  Cameo Brooch is a circle that measures 3/4" and has the old "C" clasp and the point extends beyond the setting. The shell is very light pink and the carving is high relief. What looks like a crack is actually a natural mark across the shell. The condition is very good and the small size would make it a wonderful gift for a young girl.  Cast metal which appears to be gold-filled forms this amethyst brooch with the open-backed stone surrounded with Art Nouveau detail. 2 1/8 x 3/4 inches with C clasp. Glass has no noticeable scratches.  Hand carved cameo is brown lava and is very high relief. The detail of the carving is excellent and there are no flaws, chips or cracks. The brooch measure 1" x 7/8" and the condition is very good. The bezel is Gold Filled and has the classic old "C" clasp.

Cameo High Relief Hand Carved Brown Lava $200.00
Cameo Brooch is hand carved and is high relief set in a 12K mounting. The setting is filigree with leaves at each corner. This can be worn as either a brooch or pendant and does have a safety clasp. The carving is high relief and the detail is very good. The cameo does not have any cracks, chips or defects. The brooch measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and the condition is very good.  Cameo is set in a gold filled twist frame and measures 1 3/8" x 1". The carving of Goddess Dianna has wonderful detail in the hair and dress. There is a crescent moon at the top of her head and she has a bow on her right shoulder and quiver with arrows on her left shoulder. The condition is very good with no cracks, chips or stress lines.  Hand Carved Shell Cameo is set in 12K mounting. Her hair is a combination curls, waves and sausage curls and the carving is wonderful. The carver used the color variation of the shell to highlight the bodice, hair and cheeks. There is also a strand of beads around her neck. The brooch measures 2 1/8" x 1 5/8" and the condition is very good. This can also be worn as a pendant.  Another brooch from the Art Nouveau period. Large sash pin of cast brass has a rough textured surface and open center. Leaves, vines and flowers twine across the opening and 2 very large tear-shaped cabachons of amethyst glass are bezel set. Measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/8, with 1 1/4 inch stones, gold-filled with C clasp. Purple stones have been polished to remove any scratches so condition is very good.

Art Nouveau Sash Pin with Purple Teardro $69.00
Large Art Nouveau brooch with nicely cut oval amethyst glass stone in center is gold-filled and has a cast metal oval frame around center stone which is textured and more rosy colored. Heavy decorative prongs hold the oval in center of heavy stamped brass "frills." Pin measures about 3 1/4 inches by 2 inches, has a C clasp and is in very good condition.  Grapes again on this square Art Nouveau pin, but for a Pinot Blanc this time. Actually, these white grapes probably had a pearl coating at one time - what kind of wine would THAT make? A small cabachon of purple does not look grape-like but does add some color. Leaves, vines and grapes grow over an etched 1 1/2 inch square frame which has a rosy tone - gold wash still shows on back but is worn off on front. Clasp has a head rather like a safety pin and is set corner to corner so square is half turned when worn. Not your everday brooch.  Here is a substantial brooch with some Art Nouveau "feathers," a hammered and goldwashed cast brass background and a cut cobalt stone in the center. Measures 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches, has a C clasp and is in very good condition.  Pretty Art Nouveau pin or brooch of flowing diamond shape with an amethyst glass oval in bezel setting. Brass setting measures 2 1/2 x 1 inch and has a C clasp. Amethyst stone is cut and open in back and has only the tiniest scratches, seen with a loupe.

One of my favorites - small Art Nouveau pin with open-backed purple stone bezel set in an asymetrical gold-filled setting. No damage to stone, has a C clasp and measures 1 3/8 x 3/4.  Cameo measures 1 3/4" x 2" and the mounting is gold filled with the old "C" clasp. The actual shell measures 1 1/2" x 1 3/4". The condition is very good.  Hand carved shell cameo of the Goddess Demeter is set in a silver filigree mounting. The detail in the carving is outstanding and the brooch measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/8". There are faux pearls surrounding the mounting and one of them has lost the coating.  Hand carved shell cameo is a lady in profile with short bobbed hair and a flower on her shoulder. The mounting is a silver metal and the condition of the brooch is very good. The brooch measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/8".

Pink Shell hand carved cameo is high relief and set in a 800 silver mounting with marcasite accents. The brooch measures 1 1/8" x 7/8" and can also be used as a pendant. The relief of the cameo is 3/16" and the condition is very good.  wonderful hand carved cameo facing left has very high relief in the bust and hair. The mounting tests 10k and has the old "C" clasp. This cameo is unusual because the carver used the natural rise of the cameo to make the hair and bust 3-D. The pin measures 1 1/4" x 1" and the condition is very good.  Goddess Diana cameo is hand carved shell and has the crescent moon at the top os her head. The mounting is a gold plate filigree and the brooch measures 1 1/2" x 1 3/8". This can also be worn as a pendant and the conditon is very good.  Modern woman's profile has many curls, earring, necklace and what seems to be 3 strands of beads in her hair. The pendant measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" and the condition is very good. The cameo is hand carved shell.

Cameo brooch is hand carved shell set in a gold filled mounting. This can be worn as either a pin or pendant. The profile has an elaborate hair style that includes curls, waves and sausage curls. The brooch measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and the cameo is signed on the reverse. The condition is very good.  Hand carved shell cameo is of a woman with a veil & a halo. The mounting is a gold filled twist frame and measures 1 1/8" x 7/8" and can be worn as either a pin or pendant. The carving is in great detail and the condition is very good.  Modern profile hand carved cameo brooch is set in a gold filled mounting. The profile has short hair with flowers and a flower on hr left shoulder. The brooch measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" and can be worn as either a brooch or pendant. The condition is very good.  Cameo brooch is in an elaborate gold filled mounting measuring 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". The cameo faces left and the color variations of the shell are utilized in the robe and hair. The condition of the brooch is very good.

Wonderful hand carved shell cameo depicting the Goddess Diana has a crescent moon at the top of her head. The hair is a combination of styles with sausage curls at her neckline. The carving is in great detail and she is facing left. The measurements are 1 3/4 inch x 1 1/4 inch and it has an old C clasp. The condition is very good.  MUSEUM QUALITY CAMEO: Hand carved shell cameo depicts HERCULES with the lion pelt on his head. In mythology HERCULES killed the lion and then wore the pelt for all to see. Look at the hair area to see the head of the lion. The mouth is near the ear of HERCULES, the eyes and nose are at the top of the head. What looks like long hair is actually the lion mane. Ther person who carved this cameo had an outstanding imagination and exceptional carving skills. The cameo has recently been set in a 14K yellow gold mounting. The pin measures 2 inches x 1 1/2 inches and is signed on the back by the carver. The condition of the brooch is excellent.  Hand carved shell cameo is mounted in a 10K gold mounting & cam be worn as either a pin or pendant. The pin measures 1" x 1 1/4" and the condition is very good. This is the classic cameo showing a lady profile with flowers in the hair and on the shoulder.  Pink Shell Goddess Diana Cameo brooch is set in a 10K yellow gold mounting. There is a small diamond set in the center of the crescent moon at the crown of her head. The crescent moon is a symbol of the Goddess Diana. This is a very nicely carved cameo and measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" and can be worn as either a pin or pendant.

Wonderful old hand carved shell cameo brooch measures 1 3/4 inches x 2 3/8 inches the mounting is approximately 1/4 inches deep & is gold filled. The profile is more tailored without flowers. The lady has a long twist curl hanging across her shoulder to the front of her neck. The condition is very good.  Beautiful hand carved shell cameo has great detail in the carving. There are flowers in the hair, down the back of her neck and on her shoulder. The pin measures 1" x 1 1/2" and the frame is silver. NOT STERLING. The mounting is a twist design and the condition of the brooch is very good.  The mounting is stamped sterling and at each side of the cameo there is a small area that has a gold plating. The cameo is square and the condition is very good. The ring is a size 5 1/2.  Ring is a hand carved shell cameo set in a silver mounting that is NOT marked sterling. The cameo measures 5/8" x 1/2" set in a 7/8" x 3/4" setting and the ring is a size 6 1/2. The condition of the ring is very good.

Hand carved white lava cameo is in high relief and can be worn as either a pin or pendant. The cameo measures 1 5/8" x 1 3/8" and the relief is 1/4". The profile has great detail in carving of grape leaves and grapes in her hair. She is also wearing a necklace and each bead is detailed. The condition is very good.  Cameo is mounted inside 2 circles and is prong set. There are 4 pearls for accent and the mounting is Gold Filled. The overall measurements are 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" and the condition is very good. The profile is a lady with her hair pulled back behind her neck and a flower at the nape of her neck.  Pink shell cameo can be worn as either a pin or pendant and is set in a 14K yellow gold filigree mounting. The cameo measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" and the relief is 1/4". There are 2 marks across her face that show in the photo but are not that noticeable when you are actually looking at the cameo. Condition very good except for the cracks.  Large stickpin has wonderful hand carved profile cameo set in a 14K yellow gold mounting. The detail is exceptional for a small cameo with many curls and flowers in her hair. The overall measurements are 2 5/8" x 3/4" and the condition is very good.

Beautiful cameo with great detail in the carving of her hair. There are sausage curls and waves that give the impression she is facing into the wind. Her hair is back behind her ear and the facial features are very appealing. The carver has shown great skill in the fine details of the hair & face. The brooch measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and can be worn as either a pin or pendant.  Small victorian pin has a 10mm center cameo of hand carved coral. There are 4 grey pearls set at the compas points and the mounting is stamped "PR ST. CO 10K". The overall measurements are 3/4" x 1 1/4" and it has an old "C" clasp.  Small 1 1/8 incheds x 7/8 inch hand carved shell cameo of the Goddess Ceres(Roman) or Demeter(Greek). DEMETER is the goddess of the harvest and fertility. The cameo is set in a 10K mounting. The mounting has stamped scrolls and swirls and the overall condition is very good.  Coral hand carved full face cameo is set in a mounting that tests 14K gold. The closure is the old "C" clasp. The cameo measures 3/4" x 5/8" and the overall size is 2 1/4" x 1 3/8" which includes the oval coral drop. There are some holes in the coral which is not uncommon and otherwise the condition is very good.

Beautiful bracelet has 3 hand carved shell cameos and 6 18x13mm chrysophase ovals. Marcasites are set into each oval surrounding the stones and cameos. The back is stamped CAMEXCO&C 800 and the bracelet measures 7 1/2" x 1". The center cameo is full face and the side cameos face in towards the center.  Hand Carved shell cameo brooch measures 2" x 1 7/8" and the clasp is the old "C" type. The mounting is a loose twist with a stamped design and a leaf at each compass point. The actual cameo measures 1 7/16" x 1 1/8" and the condition is very good. The white areas at the top right and bottom left are variations in the shell and are NOT cracks.  Cameo brooch of woman in profile with wavy hair and curls in the back of her neck. The natural rise of the shell has been utilized for the bust. The cameo is hand carved shell set in a gold filled mounting that measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and the condtion is very good.  Exquisite carving on this lava cameo shows the face of Zeus in high relief. The cameo brooch measures 3/4 inch x 7/8 inch and is 3/8 inch deep set in a GF mounting. The end of the nose has a very small chip but doesn't show unless you look at it under a loupe. The overall condition of the brooch is very good.

Very detailed carving on this hand carved shell cameo make this a delight to see or wear. The folds of the dress along with the waves and sausage curls indicate the great skill of the carver. The brooch measures 1 7/8" x 1 1/2" and is the setting is 10K yellow gold. The setting has a lot of scroll detailing and the condition is very good.
