Vintage Graniteware Enamelware Funnel. This funnel is 3-3/4" long x 3-3/4" dia. It is in the condition as shown in the photos.  Three cool patented Foley food choppers for one price. = $30/each. All work. The mid portion of the red and blue one have some corrosion and rust tinge; bottom blades are fine. The paint on blue one has been redone since there was just a blue tinge left on it; the paint is identical to what was left on it. Cheaper than buying individually. Keep one and give one to a collector friend! 1/12scs+  Three cup Bromwell measuring sifter, made by Bromwell, USA. Crank sifter. Works and screen are in excellent condition. Black wood knob on handle. A little rust on the outside, but this can probably be cleaned off for display.  Fun vintage metal whisk with looped open double thick wire handle leading to swirled conical wire whisk. Measures about 9 1/2 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide/deep (greatest diameter of whisk portion). There is no manufacturer or country of origin marking. As such we don't know exact age, but this came out of a home and we guess it dates from the 1940s period but can't guarantee that. It doesn't look new.

Great condition with no chips, cracks, pieces missing. Wire whisk part in nice even swirled form and moves if you shake the piece. The metal appears to have an overall light tarnishing, light expected use wear and is slightly dirty where the handle meets the wires leading to the whisk (some dirt is caught up in and above the wires here, we have not attempted to clean and are selling as is, as found).

Nice addition for any whisk collection or to hang as part of an overall antique kitchen utensils utensils or vintage kitchen collectibles grouping.

Vintage Graniteware Enamelware Funnel $9.95

Patented Foley Food Choppers $90.00

Vintage Bromwell Measuring Sifter $11.99

Vintage Metal Whisk, Swirl Cone Shape, 9 $7.00

Nice small ladle (gravy ladle, general ladle) with handle attached to base conical shaped bowl via two rivets. Measures about 8 3/4 inches long with a 2 inch diameter to the bowl part and a 2 1/8 inches depth to the bowl part. On the upper handle in raised letters appears "Parke" which we are guessing is the name of the manufacturer. We tried researching this but couldn't identify the manufacturer or any other information about "Parke" so perhaps this was a consumer give-away or premium when one bought something else, we just don't know. Given all this we are also unsure as to the exact age of this piece; it did come out of a home and from the wear discussed below it is not new. Our guess would be that this dates to the 1940's-1960's period, but we don't know that for certain.

Very nice, very usable older piece that does show evidence of use/wear. There is a small impressed dent at the outside bottom of the bowl on the ladle. Within the bowl one can see some darker line discolorations as well as lots of scratches, mars, and light spotting from use. On the outside of the bowl there is also a lot of pitting/pin dots, scratches, etc. from use and similarly on the handle. Nothing overly bad here but you need to know this was a used piece, but this adds to evidence of it being aged not new.

A nice piece to add to a collection of kitchen utensils, particularly one relating to advertising items or ladles in specific.

Please note that we have many other kitchen items listed separately for sale. If you wish to purchase more than one, please e-mail us before placing the order since the shipping information has been inputted for a purchase of just one and will not calculate the savings you would get when purchasing more than one shipped together in the same package (we will need to handle this for you).  This is an aluminum juice maker by the Quam-Nichols Co., Of Chicago, IL. The handle is signed: Kwicky Juicer. Cool vintage kitchen item! 9-1/2 inches length, 5-1/2 inches width, 1-3/8 inches height to rim, 3-inches height to top of reamer. Condition: used, good except has no rubber ring on base. Comments: has a hanging hole at end of handle for storage or display. A bit different from the earlier 1920’s models we’ve had; as this one has no rubber on the bottom - rather there is a cork in the center, so I’m not really sure how it works. We are selling it as a kitchen collectible. It has a seven tine strainer to catch seeds and a pour spout on one side. Circa 1940’s

Nifty old metal strainer marked with impressed "Made in Germany" on the backside of one piece of the double metal wire handle (we could not get this to show up in a picture but guarantee this is there). There is no manufacturer name marking, only the country of origin. From the style and marking we estimate this piece dates from the early 1900's, probably in the 1920's-1930's period, but we don't know that for certain. It is definitely not a new piece.

Strainer has a large oval curved wire basket area measuring 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. The full length of the strainer is about 9 inches (from the curved "ears" at the top which allow this to hook over a bowl to the bottom tip of the handle; there is no bowl included here) and it has a depth to the basket of about 1 1/2 inches.

Very nice, very usable vintage condition. There are no major flaws to this piece -- no chips, cracks or breaks. There is expected darkening or tarnishing or spotting to the metal, several spots of rust (nothing really bad), and other general age wear but nothing to be worried about here.

A great piece to add to any collection of older kitchen items, kitchen collectibles, kitchen utensils, as well as a collection centering on strainers or older German kitchen items in particular.

Nice wood handled chopper with double metal curved blades. Stands about 5 1/2 inches in height, 5 inches wide (width of blades) and about 1 1/2 inches in depth. There is no manufacturer marking and we are uncertain of the age on this piece. It does not look new, with some use/wear evident as will be described below, so we think this piece is vintage and likely dates from the mid-1900's (given the light coloring of the wood) but we just don't know for certain.

Very nice, very usable condition. There is a vertical line encircling the wood handle of this double chopper (we're not sure if it was just scored decoratively or was made in two pieces). At each handle end there are use stress line cracks in the wood, as to be expected with an item pressed with force. Handle has other scraping, scaring, expected evidence of surface wear from use and age. The metal has much darkening, discoloration, scraping, spotting, etc. from age and wear. While the two curved blades are fully attached via rivets, they can be moved slightly back and forth (they are not riveted in a manner which is firm or unmovable). We don't know if this is as made or they loosened from use/pounding. There are no breaks, cracks or rust evident on the metal portions.

A nice addition to any collection of older kitchen items, kitchen collectibles, kitchen utensils, as well as a collection centering on choppers in particular.

Small Aluminum Ladle, 8. 75 inches, Made $5.00

Kwicky Juicer – Aluminum Reamer, Straine $8.00

Vintage Made in Germany Oval Metal Strai $9.00

Vintage Wood Handle Double Metal Chopper $9.00

Nice vintage Bromwell's Measuring Sifter, 3 cup size with red wood handle. Measures about 5 3/4 inches in height, 4 1/2 inches width to top opening diameter, about 5 1/2 inches greatest width including turn handle, 4 3/8 inches diameter to round base. Made of metal which appears to be tin with molded lines encircling including lines indicating levels for 1, 2 and 3 cups. Raised stamped lettering indicates cup levels on two sides of front face. Inbetween this it reads, "Bromwell's, Made in U S A, Measuring - Sifter Guaranteed." Under this there is a patent number, "PAT. NO. 1.753.995" which indicates a patent date of 1930. Given this, we estimate this piece dates from the 1930's-1940's period, but don't know that for certain....it's definitely not new.

Sifter has a rounded wire net at the inside bottom. Handle turns a two piece rounded metal wire unit which sifts the flour or other items put through it. The sifter works, in that the handle does turn the inner metal piece, but not in a smooth fashion. The handle and metal turns in a jerky fashion rather than smooth. We don't know if this is as intended or as made; we are selling as is, as found.

We have provided 8 images to show from all angles including close-ups of the words and markings. This piece is in very nice old condition but does show age and use wear. The top round edge may not be uniform and appears to show very slight flattening/denting from use, knocking around, storage, etc. This is not really obvious, but it doesn't look perfectly round to us. There are slight vertical lines (and a slanted line) impressed on the sides in spots (seemingly impressed from the inside out) which may be from some use denting (we also note that the metal handle appears to have, as made, 2 angular forms/bends which we think were intended to aid in holding). There is tarnishing/blackening on the tin (particularly on the top and bottom rims but also dotting/tarnishing throughout the sides), some rusting on the interior and exterior, other use and dirt spotting (dark and light, outside and inside, we have not attempted to clean as many like this used look), and other general expected use wear. The red wood handle has a worn paint look due to paint loss and general age wear, but no chips or cracks that we see, and it has the usual nice old age look.

A nice addition to any collection of older kitchen items, kitchen collectibles, kitchen utensils, as well as a collection centering on sifters or baking items in particular.

Please note that we have another larger Bromwell sifter and many other kitchen items listed separately for sale. If you wish to purchase more than one, please e-mail us before placing the order since the shipping information has been inputted for a purchase of just one and will not calculate the savings you would get when purchasing more than one shipped together in the same package (we will need to handle this for you).  Nice vintage Bromwell's Measuring Sifter, large 5 cup size with green wood handle. Measures 6 1/4 inches in height, 5 3/8 inches width to top opening diameter, about 6 1/2 inches greatest width including turn handle, 5 inches diameter to round base. Made of metal which appears to be tin with molded lines encircling including lines indicating levels for 2, 3, 4 and 5 cups. Raised stamped lettering indicates cup levels on two sides of front face. Inbetween this it reads, "Made in U S A, Bromwell's Measuring Sifter Guaranteed." We are guessing that this piece dates from the 1930's-1940's period, but don't know that for certain....it's definitely not new.

Sifter has a rounded wire net at the inside bottom. Handle turns a four piece rounded metal wire unit which sifts the flour or other items put through it.

The top round edge is not uniform and shows what we believe to be slight flattening/denting from use, knocking around, storage, etc. This is also true of the bottom circular edge on which this piece sits. There is other slight side denting (noting large) and perhaps some slight denting on the metal handle (the handle appears, as made, to have 2 angular forms/bends which we think were intended to aid in holding, but there may be other wear denting here, too, we're not sure). There is tarnishing/blackening on the tin (particularly on the top and bottom rims but also dotting/tarnishing throughout the sides), some rusting on the interior, other use and dirt spotting (dark and white, outside and inside, we have not attempted to clean as many like this used look), and other general expected use wear. The green wood handle has paint loss, scraping, spotting, general age wear, but no chips or cracks that we see, and it has the usual nice old age look.

A nice addition to any collection of older kitchen items, kitchen collectibles, kitchen utensils, as well as a collection centering on sifters or baking items in particular.

Please note that we have another smaller Bromwell sifter and many other kitchen items listed separately for sale. If you wish to purchase more than one, please e-mail us before placing the order since the shipping information has been inputted for a purchase of just one and will not calculate the savings you would get when purchasing more than one shipped together in the same package (we will need to handle this for you).  Large vintage aluminum strainer, colander or sieve made by Beacon Ware and marked on outside "Beacon Ware, No. H115, Made in U.S.A.". Near this appears a U.S. patent number, "PAT. 1761067" with this patent number dating to 1930, so we believe this piece was made in the 1930's but don't know that for certain (since sometimes numbers are shown for longer periods).

We believe this strainer originally was accompanied by a metal stand and wood masher or pestle, but we do not have those other two pieces. However, this large cone-shaped strainer could still be used or displayed by itself.

Measures about 8 inches in height/depth, with an 8 inch diameter to the round strainer top opening and 11 1/2 inches greatest width (to outer end of open loop metal handle which provides easy hanging on a wall). While the strainer portion looks to be aluminum, the handle appears to us as if made of a different metal, but we are not metal experts. The handle is firmly bolted to the strainer via 4 rivets on the under side.

We have provided 4 images. While in very nice aged condition overall, there are many evidences of wear/use. The top outer circular edge of the sieve is not perfectly round, showing flattened parts/dents to the rim in a number of places likely from use/storage/dropping/etc. There is also denting to the bottom outside of the cone end. We do not see any breaks or chips, all strainer holes appear fine/even. There is discoloration/spotting or aluminum color loss or wear in numberous spots and many small scratches/use wear marks/surface wear spotting as one would expect for a piece which has been used a lot. There is rusting around the 4 rivets on the interior and discoloration on the interior base of the cone. For us all of this adds to a great old look and is not unexpected, but you need to know this is there and the piece is not shiny or new looking.

A nice addition to any collection of older kitchen items, kitchen collectibles, kitchen utensils, as well as a collection centering on strainers, colanders, sieves or the like.

This is a pair of antique English maple butter paddles, butter hands or Scotch hands I brought home recently from England. They are hardly ever seen anymore, but were a staple of every kitchen at one time. The paddles are 8.75 inches long by 2.375 inches wide by .375 inch deep and were made 1910-1930s. The interior is reeded, corrugated or ridged with a beveled back and were machine made and are in very good +++ condition with only some minor cracking to the ends which often happens with age. Butter paddles were used to beat the excess water out of freshly churned butter in preparation to putting into molds or crocks for storage and use and also to shape butter into balls, acorns, etc. One of the pair is in very good condition with 2 edge chips and some denting, and the other is in good condition with a chipped and cracked handle.
