Great American made green spongware kitchen crocks. 3 sizes; maple wood lids. Very nice, no chips or cracks. Made in Roseville, Ohio by Gerald E. Henn Co. These say freezer, microwave, oven safe. Tallest is 7.25 tall x 7 wide; midsize is 6 tall x 6.5 wide; smaller one is 5.25 tall x 5 wide. Shipping would likely be in 2 boxes due to the weight and size. 1/12smc  Very attractive vintage spongeware pitcher. Heavy duty; nice size. Interior is white; bottom has dry yellow clay. My guess is UHL Pottery due to the white glaze interior, but it could be another company. No chips or cracks; stands almost 8 inches tall. Saw this one at an antique mall and it was priced at $165 and that one was chipped! 1/12smc

Awesome antique yellow ware ribbed shoulder bowl. Incised no. 10 on bottom. It is 10.25 wide x 5.25 tall. No chips or cracks. Lots of tiny goosebumps in the glaze, a tiny glaze pop on interior of bowl; and some discoloration as expected, but overall this bowl is in nice antique condition. I'd guestimate its age as early 1900's. 1/12dixcs  Marked: Bake Oven

Vintage Spongeware Bowl $110.00

This is an antique spongeware pitcher. c:1880's to 1900's. It has a raised leaf pattern with gold on top rim which appears to be under the glaze. The only company I know that made them with gold was Morton or Roseville Carnelian Pottery, but could be another company like early Red Wing or Bennington. It has crazing and a few glaze pops and separation lines, (that happens during firing, especially on old pottery like this). It stands 7.5 tall x 4.5 wide x 19 inches around body. Bottom rim has some tiny old smooth chippies, nothing major; it stands fine and they are only noticeable if you turn it upside down and inspect closely. This might be a hand formed piece; it looks like there are ridges on the interior. It is a very unique antique piece of sponged pottery. 11/11smc  This is the smallest mixing bowl made by Universal China in the Calico Fruit pattern. A bright and cheerful decal of fruit and leaves on a cream ground. Antique yellow ware shoulder bowl with blue bands. It is 8.25 wide x 4.5 tall. It has two sets of 3 blue bands and an incised pattern on it. There is some disoloration, some pits, glaze pops, a tiny line break on upper rim; small chip on bottom dry rim that doesn't show. All those age flaws are common on antique yellow ware because it gets very brittle with age, but it is a very attractive bowl and displays quite well despite the minor flaws. 9/11scsr  The medium, 7.5 in. diameter mixing bowl in the Autumn Leaf pattern.
