This is a large bowl even though it doesn't look large in the picture. It is 12 wide x 5.5 tall. No chips or cracks; those small black dots in the picture are glaze pops; and the black lines on the exterior bottom are spidering/crazing, not hairlines. It does have a lot of crazing and because of its age, and appears a bit dingy which is typical of antique yellow ware. It looks great with green apples in it, or just to display!

Use them or just display them!  Yellowware bowl with numerous personal touches by the artist. ONE OF A KIND At the end of a day yellowware potters used leftover clay to make a "personal" item for family use or as a gift. These "end of the day" pieces are sought by yellowware & folk art collectors of Americana. Bowl is over 75% done in deep cobalt blue. In addition the top (almost 1" band) rim has an "arts and crafts" motif and done in cobalt with varying hues. Then bowl has several additional decorative patterns from "x" and "o" to beads, straight lines and a wonderfull large pattern of "o"s connected much like a chain. the patterns then repeat below into the cobalt. A must have for the collector of yellowware.  Antique yellow ware bowl. c: around 1920's. Good sized bowl with brown bands. Likely an unmarked Weller bowl as they made these bowls with the brown bands, and I just acquired an even larger bowl that is marked Weller that is almost identical. Good overall condition; has all over faint crazing as is expected, and one surface flake off the bottom dry rim which does not affect stance or even show for that matter. It is 11 wide x 5 tall. The line you might see in the bottom of the bowl in one of the pics is not a crack either; it is just a clay irregularity.  A useful and attractive beater jar that is marked USA on the bottom. Measures 5.25 in. diameter at the top and 3 in. diameter at the bottom. Stands 5 in. tall. In very good used condition. No chips, cracks, etc. Made of a heavy crockery material. Antique Yellow Ware Banded Bowl $135.00

CROCKERY BEATER JAR $37.50

Weller Pottery? mixing bowl. Looks very much like an old Weller mixing bowl; this bowl was purchased from an estate where there was another larger bowl just like this one that had the raised block Weller name on the bottom, which is why I believe this is also a Weller, (same exterior & interior colors). If you look at the back of the Weller book you will see similar items, (brown glaze on exterior, white interior). It is an oldie; has wear patterns on interior; crazing and some discoloration which the pictures are not showing too well. The top rim has two tiny fleabites off rim which is not really noticeable because the clay is so dark red; these could just be rim nicks from cracking eggs on rim, since these were used as intended!). The bottom of this bowl does bear an incised mark that looks like an X inside a rectangle. It is 3.5 high x 7 wide. Looks great with other vintage mixing bowls; most people just stack them and put up on a shelf for display in their country kitchens.  YellowWare at it's finest. This yellow pottery kitchen bowl is approximately 5 1/2 " tall, 9" across the top. An American bowl. Great condition for this very early bowl. The inside shows Grandma's use, crazing but NO chips, dings nor hairlines! Three lines below rim, thin white line, a cobalt blue and white line. Repeated below Base marked ovenware made in USA 9" Ships for $15 Yellow ware Yellowware stoneware pottery kitchen bowl  Two vintage USA french casserole dishes. Could be McCoy, RRP, Watt, all companies made similar items. Two for one price! 1/04brcs  Vintage Treasure Craft covered casserole or cookie jar. cL1945-1988. Very attractive covered casserole pot with beautiful flowers on the front side. The interior of the lid reads: Treasure Craft Made in USA Microwave Ovenware 2 Quart. No visible chips or cracks and stands 7 tall x 9 wide. There is a fleabite off interior lid rim; the part that fits down into the pot, but this is not visible when lid is on the pot so I consider this an insignificant flaw.

I will be happy to combine shipping and handling on multiple item orders.  Vintage USA milk pan. Nice stoneware bowl with incised U.S.A. mark on bottom. Likely made between 1920-1940. You can see by the well worn, dark upper and lower rims that this is a very old bowl. It is probably not a mixing bowl because it has a flat bottom. It is either what is called a milk pan or a bread bowl; the clay on it is a buff color. It is 9.5 wide x 3.25 tall; no chips or cracks. It does have a couple of small glaze misses which is typical of this old stoneware.  Stands 7" high including the cover/bowl itself is 7-3/4" diameter. USA stamped on the bottom. Rockingham, called Bennington by some, actually rockingham describes the brown glaze decoration added to the yellow ware clay. Generically called Bennington which is a place and company that made fine Rockingham pottery. Rockingham was made by several potteries in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland & New Jersey. Sometimes called a nappy this very large bowl is 11 3/4" across, 3 1/4" tall. Nappies were also known as a deep sided baking dishes and cake pans. Nappies differ from milk bowls in that they have flared sides without a lip. Weighs approximately 4 pounds. Great condition. Contemporary collectible item; artist signed and dated. This is a very heavy-duty, well-made chip and dip spongeware platter and bowl. Net research reveals that Marshall, Texas has several pottery companies that make primiarily hand-formed pottery. The platter has a mark on the bottom: E..., can't make it out, Prod. Pottery, Marshall, Tx, Made in USA. The front is signed Melinda 1994. No chips or cracks, and is 12 wide x 2.5 high. A great item, despite it not being vintage yet. Also, it will blend in with your more expensive, vintage spongeware items, but you can actually use this item!  This is a small milk glass mixing bowl from the Federal Glass Company. This bowl measures 6 inches in diameter and 3 inches deep. It does not have any chips or cracks. The bottom is marked with the F in a shield and says Heat Proof.

Vintage mixing bowl. Very heavy, brown glazed mixing bowl. You can see by the thick, worn smooth bottom rim that this is quite an old one, and because it is not marked, (the really old ones are not marked)! c.1920-30's would be my guess on this one. Buff colored clay, so it is not Zanesville, but could be Watt, McCoy, Morton, or other. It has no cracks, but does have some signs of use on the interior, and some very teensy rim nicks from usage, e.g. cracking eggs against rim, not noticeable unless trying very hard to see. It is 7 7/8 inches wide and about 4.5 inches high. It goes well with other stoneware items, or any of the Hull, McCoy, RRP brown dinnerware lines.

Rockingham flask is embossed with 5 sided objects on both sides. The unusual marking in the center of the front within an octagon is a nude woman with long hair, possibly a mermaid. The nude appears to be holding a martini glass, her lower torso is overlaid with a "W". The flask is marked Made in Poland, there is another word printed dabove that which I am unable to decipher. A wreath of flowers above that, within the wreath are the letters "P" and "T" , the flowers also separate the "P" and the "T" The unusual aspect is the figure of a nude female (perhaps a mermaid) with long hair who appears to be holding a type of "marrtini" glass. She is centered in an octagon shape with what appears to be the letter "W" across her lower torso..
