The roots of the Mirro Aluminum Company, commonly known as Mirro, can be traced to the 1885 founding of the Aluminum Manufacturing Company by Joseph Koenig in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. In 1909 Aluminum Manufacturing Company merged with Aluminum Novelty Company, founded in neighboring Manitowoc, Wisconsin by Henry Vits, and the New Jersey Aluminum Company. The combined company was renamed the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company, was headquartered in Manitowoc and headed by Vits. The name stuck until 1957 when shareholders approved the change to the Mirro Aluminum Company, a title referring to a number of the company's popularly-known products.

At its peak, Mirro was the United States largest manufacturer of aluminum cooking utensils, and over time had as many as eight plants in three states, with products ranging from pots and pans to small boats and aluminum siding.

Vintage hand painted stoneware butter crock. Great looking, artist signed, butter crock. Likely a RRP Roseville crock. It is signed, S. Class?, (hard to make out last name). It has no chips or cracks, but has some blue coloring on interior. It stands 4 tall x 6 wide. It is next to an RRP crock in one of the pics; same size dimensions. These make great African Violet planters; or you put a big candle in it out on your deck and it won't tip over!  FOR SALE IS A VINTAGE WHITE ENAMELWARE DOUBLE BOILER. THE WHITE WITH BLACK TRIM DOUBLE PAN MEASURES 5 INCHES HIGH X 6 1/4 INCHES DIAMETER AND IS IN FINE USED CONDITION, WITH NO DENTS.  Antique Rockingham glazed pitcher featuring an animal handle; oak leaves, and hound dogs chasing a deer. The book on Bennington shows many similar pitchers with hound handles, but the handle on this pitcher is not a hound; (the animal on this pitcher has a flat tail, perhaps an otter?). This pitcher has many aging flaws, but displays well despite the flaws. It is 6.25 tall. Many of the raised areas have spots where the glaze missed, (rub marks), including the ears of the animal handle. There are some fleabites around rim, and one noticeable glaze miss on spout. The animal's nose/mouth also looks deformed, (factory flaw?). It is either Bennington or one of the other companies that were producing this type of item in the same geographic region and is probably quite rare. (Large numbers of pieces of Rockingham glazed items are not marked, see pg. 241 book by J. Spargo; and I've never found a piece of Rockingham stamped except one bowl I have marked National).  Vintage stoneware crock. Nice old stoneware crock that was likely made to store cheese and/or butter. I have a stoneware lid which is probably not the original lid, but it looks cute on this crock. The crock is 5.75 wide x almost 4 tall. This size is perfect to put an African Violet plant in, or to showcase some of your smaller size vintage kitchen utensils, or to store your butter or cheese in!

Very attractive hand painted Robinson Ransbottom hand painted crock. (RRP is now of business). This is a cool hand painted crock with black RRP Roseville backstamp on bottom. No chips or cracks and is 4 tall and 6.25 wide. Once used for butter and/or cheese. 11/04csest  Blue banded stoneware crock and vintage kitchen gadgets. 10 items in all = less than $6/each!. Blue-banded stoneware crock, (probably RRP Roseville item, but is not marked). It stands 5.25 tall x 4.5 wide; no chips or cracks. You also get some very nifty vintage gadgets to start your collection! First is a 9 inch vintage wire whip; next is a cool tea strainer, (fits over a tea cup and you set your bag in it); next is an 8 inch Wizard jar opener; next is a Simplex garlic press in good condition; an 8 inch metal meat tenderizer; a 7.5 inch metal ice cream scoop with raised Taiwan mark; a Fuller pastry brush; a 6 inch scoop marked Germany #160; and last but not least, a cool 7 inch Roldip, Maumee, Ohio USA, Reg. in Canada, US Patent Des 184076.  Vintage USA ball pitcher jug. Great AQUA color, good looking ball pitcher/ice jug! It has incised 'USA' mark on the bottom. Likely a McCoy, Shawnee, or other vintage American pottery company. A great heavy piece of vintage pottery for your collection, or to use! Likely made in the 1930's. Start a pitcher collection!  Vintage pottery pitcher. Syrup pitcher or creamer in high gloss brown glaze with yellow flame areas peeking through. It looks like brown glazed yellow ware; likely early Brush-McCoy, Bennington, or other. It has all over faint crazing and stands 6.5 wide x 7 wide from handle end to spout end. It has two factory flubbers on one side as you can see in the pics. One is a piece of clay waste that is glazed over, and one is a depression in the clay. Other side is good.

Robinson Ransbottom Roseville Hand Paint $40.00

Kitchen Gadgets & Crock $54.00

Vintage USA Ball Pitcher Jug $75.00

Vintage Pottery Pitcher $60.00

Vintage buttermilk batter pitcher. It stands 5 high x about 6 wide from spout end to handle end. It has a very thick, worn, smooth bottom rim as you can see in the picture, indicating this is a fairly old item. It has two tiny flaws; one is a piece of clay waste near exterior rim, you can see it in one of the pictures, (it is a factory flubber, common on this type of old pottery), and it has a glaze skip near spout end; it is smooth, so it's not a chip, and neither of the flaws are even noticeable from 6 inches away.    This is a vintage 1940's Fire King pie pan in the Philbe pattern. The pie pan has a very slight blue color. It measure 9 1/4 inches in diameter. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.  Vintage Buenilum aluminum bowl. W/vintage pyrex glass bowl inside!. Made by BW, (Frederick Buehner Wanner), called Buenilum Aluminum. This bowl was likely made during the hammered & decorative aluminum period, c:1930's-1950's. BW sold to Pfaltzgraff in 1969, and BW closed altogether in 1973. This large bowl has a vintage Pyrex glass bowl inside to hold all your favorite dishes, e.g., green bean casserole! Still usable today; also looks good just for display purposes even if you have a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The aluminum bowl measures 11 wide x 4 high, with top on it is about 9 high. The pyrex bowl is 10 wide x 3 high. Some wear on the pyrex bowl, but no chips or cracks. The aluminum is in good condition, just a couple of scratches, but looks better than the pictures.  Large 13 ľ inch diameter Brass pot. It measures 11 ˝ inches high with textured sides and metal twisted rope tassel. It is in good condition. 9s59. L429x7. PDP2004

Vintage Buttermilk Pitcher $26.50

Fire King Philbe Pie Pan $12.50

Buenilum Aluminum Bowl $26.50

Large 13 ľ inch diameter Brass pot $25.00

Vintage brown drip USA creamer. Attractive and quite heavy, brown drip creamer with a USA underglaze mark. This could either be a Hull Gardenline, McCoy Brown Drip line, (both are almost identical), or Watt Pottery. No chips or cracks and measures almost 5 high. I just acquired a McCoy creamer, and putting this next to the McCoy and a Hull pitcher I have, it resembles the Hull more than the McCoy, but then again, every piece is slightly different in color because of the drip glaze.  Vintage hammered aluminum casserole dish with cover and a vintage Flameware Pyrex bowl that fits inside it. BW Buenilum Co. Aluminumware was made during the 'Hammered & Decorative Aluminum Period' during the 1930's-1950's. Included is a blue tinted Pyrex glass bowl marked that fits into this casserole. The Pyrex dish is in 'vintage used' condition, (lots of wear on it, but no chips or cracks). The aluminum casserole dish is in good condition, just some minor scratches that appear worse in the pics than they really are. BW closed in 1979. The casserole is about 10 wide x 7 high; the Pyrex dish measures 8 wide x 3 high. Looks good with all your other vintage aluminum collectibles, and you can still use this item to serve food in since your food goes in the glass bowl, not on the aluminum.  Vintage stoneware batter pitcher. Nice, heavy stoneware batter or syrup pitcher with dry unglazed bottom. Good condition with no chips or cracks. And, it matches the large stonware acid pitcher I have listed herein. Probably an old McCoy, RRP Roseville or some other American pottery company. Measures about 3.5 wide x 5 high. A nice little addition to your pitcher or stoneware collection. Also looks great with Hull Marcrest, McCoy brown dinnerware or other stoneware.  This is a Fire King Pie plate in the peach lustre color. It is in very good condition. Normally the color is worn off of these peach luster pieces but this pie plate shows very few signs of rubbing or wear. The pie plate measures 9 inches in diameter.

Greatland Stainless Steel Camp Set. Click through to see how this stainless steel camping set of pans all fit into one neat little nylon bag! This nifty set of pans is composed of a green nylon zippered cover, a cook pan with top that has 2 black handles that fold out. The top says Greatland on it. Inside this pan are 3 smaller pans. Very gently used. Great to use on a camping trip or just as a decorative display item for your baker's rack, kitchen hutch, or on top of the kitchen cabinets! Largest pan is 8 wide x 5.75 tall.  Vintage Boy Scouts camp cookware sets. 2 similar sets for one price; only one is shown. Set includes a well-worn green canvas sack that holds a pan, a covered pan, and a cup, see pics. These utensils look like older aluminum and have the name Regal on the bottom. The gizmo holding them together has an engraved boyscout emblem on it. The cooking items are in great condition. New boy scout sets are made of plastic, and I was told that these are fairly old but I am not a scouting expert.  This is a Fire King Pie plate in the peach lustre color. It is in very good condition. Normally the color is worn off of these peach luster pieces but this pie plate shows very few signs of rubbing or wear. The pie plate measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter.
