Scarce vintage Black American Aunt Jemima and Uncle Mose salt and pepper shakers. 5" tall, 2-1/2" wide and 2-3/8" thick. Made of plastic with plastic stoppers. All original. Made by F & F Mold & Die Works, Dayton, Ohio. Circa 1920-40s. Free of damage except wear on original paint which probably was washed off (a no-no with this set).  The head of the slat and pepper has a red hat and some wear and is 2.5 inches high by 1.5 inches with original cork, although it is covered in picture. The watermelon is 1.5 inches high by 3 inches long with the original cork. They are in good condition and marked Japan.  Black Americana Jazz Player Salt & Pepper by Clay Art. Great salt and pepper design from Clay Art in the mid 1990's. A saxaphone player and a trumpet player, 3" tall in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.  Black Americana Mammy with Rolling Pin & Pie Salt & Pepper.
