Vintage round addressograph ribbon tin by Kee Lox of Rochester New York.  Tin measures 2" high with identical graphics on both sides.  Both sides are pictured.  No contents.


Condition:  Nice display condition with no damage, tin retains it's full glossy finish.  Few small chips to paint as pictured.  


Ship:  $2.41 boxed 1st Class.  A two pound postal scale; made by Triner Scale & Mfg. Co., Chicago, Illinois. Has ounces to pounds for first class, third class and air mail rates and shows local zone air rates. Effective April 1, 1964 is dated on front.  Body is green plastic, with a regulating screw on the top, and a 3-1/2 by 3-inch lightweight metal platform. Size: 6-1/2 inches height, 6-1/4 inches depth, and 3-inch width.


 Novelty item – a cast aluminum paperweight, nicely weighted (8.8 oz.) and detailed; 4 inches height by 3-inches width.


 Approx. 2 7/8", nearly 4" when fully extended, circa late 1800s to early 1900s, unmarked but definitely sterling silver, works, nice machine work design, sold as found, unpolished patina, fair condition.

ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER VICTORIAN MECHAN $18.00

A great historic piece, especially for the railroad buffs.  A heavy desk ornament or paperweight of the New York Central engine car and coal car.  The legend on the side of the base reads, The Hudson Type Locomotive  Used in 20th Century Service, Built by American Locomotive Company for New York Central Lines.  The back of the base reads, Van Gytenbeek, Mfg., Co., New York, copyright symbol, 1928.  New York Central 5200 is imbossed on the cars.  On a felt base, but there is some tarnishing & metal peeling on the bottom edge of the base.  This 1940s tin litho metal trash can or waste basket has great period design of a flower basket with polka dots in red and silver-gray on cream. The design is printed on both sides with a red and gray rope border around the upper rim, a red scalloped wave border near the bottom. It's 11-1/2" high to the rounded oval rim by 12 inches wide and 7-1/2 inches deep. The interior bottom has paint wear and some rust, there is no rust on the outside. There are a few nicks and scratches to the paint as shown.

One is a Novelty Chrome Plastic and Metal, with a "Dial the Alphabet Letter Needed" type of system. The top then Springs open at the surname, telephone #,and address required.One rubber corner foot is missing on base. Instruction card is inside,no refills. Plastic Back.Made in 

Hong Kong. The size is 4 x 6 1/2 inches.

The 2nd index is Brown Metal with a Gold Metal Slide to the correct Alphabet Initialrequired. It is manufactured by the Makers of the Rolodex Rotary Card File (Zephyr)

It measures 4 X 7 inches and has the instructions inside but no refill papers. It says this is the Hercules Model. It has a cardboard backing.

Condition:  Excellent, a few light scuffs to finish.

Circa 1900. There is a crack on the left side that is hard to see. It starts at the top and goes 3/4 of the way down the left side interior. Minor nips on bottom corners.  (#T-1935)

Mid Century ABSCO Midget Red Desk Pencil $16.99

Cobalt blue glass bottle with plastic cap.  Ink color is Permanent Black, just under half of the ink remains in bottle.  Bottle measures 2 3/8" high.  Outer box is included.


Condition:  Bottle is nice display condition with no damage to glass or cap.  Outer box is sturdy and has spots of age soiling.


Shipping:  $3.00 via 1st Class.  Older metal lead pencil container that held 9000H pencils.  Bottom front has  A.W. Faber - Castell, Stein bei Nurnberg Germany stamped into metal.  Measures 7 1/8" x 2".  No pencils remain.


Condition:  Nice condition for display, light wear to finish at edges.  Appears that this was a hinged-lid container, however the hinging no longer works correctly, so it opens as a lift-top only.


Shipping:  $2.55 via 1st Class.  A 1-ounce to 2 1/2 pound scale manufactured by IDL Manufacturing of New York.  Size is approx. 6 1/2" high to top of letter holder, base measures 6" deep x 3 1/2" wide.  The 1 ounce postal rate is 3-cents on the face plate, that rate was used from 1932 to 1958.  All metal construction with painted face plate. Very nice condition with no damage, works well.  Light soiling to the face plate.


If this old scale is for actual use, it weighs accurately  to within 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce of true weight.  Circa. 1930s-40s.

It held 2 rolls of NO. 600 Scotch transparent tape. Scratches and shows wear..It measures a little over 5" in dimeter and is 1.25 inhes deep.  Clean, in good condition and SHINY IN AND OUT.

Condition:  Would be mint and "like new" condition, except there is a shallow-shallow crease just above the bottom rim on one side, and another just under the top rim.  Both are "barely-there" and not distracting.


Shipping:  $2.25 via 1st class.  Very cool decorative storage suitcase, made to hold slides. Both sides open and are signed inside: B & J – Unifile – Patent Pending. Beautiful smaller vintage paperweight, Showing 3 beautiful blossoms in predominantly fresh mint green colour, It stands about 2 inches high, Buyer pays for shipping and insurance.  These 7 by 5 inch composition wood book ends were made by Syroco (Syracuse Ornamental Company) in the 1940s. They have a sculpted design of tall clipper ships, made to look like finely carved but shabby wood. The bookends have metal stands with the original owner's name written on the bottoms and are missing most of the original felt covering. One has a foil Syroco Wood label on the back. They are intact with no chips or breaks though the finish is has quite a bit of honest wear - perfect for an antique themed study or office. 

 Both are mechanical pencils.


Short one is about 2.5", stamped sterling silver, art deco circa 1920s or so, worn on a chain, some small dents, overall good and functional condition.


Long one is nearly 4.5" long, late 1800s to early 1900s, unmarked sterling silver, functional, simple.  Very good vintage condition.


Both sold unpolished as found, nice patina, one price for both.  Approx. 11" by 1 1/4" clear USA glass rod shaped heavy depression era, ribbed glass paperweight (I think).  Old, marked MACBETH 7-26, old with age, sold as found, no damage, good vintage condition.

Very heavy, cost $90.00 retail last summer, it is called "yellow bowl" and is 7" tall and about 6" diameter at the top. Nice piece, good condition, natural variations.  Mottled blue and gold, plastic or bakelite, circa 1920s-30s art deco era pen and pencil set, 14K gold Regal dip pen nib, unsure of the condition of the pen's bladder, mechanical pencil appears to be functional, approx. 5" long each, from my own collection, estate find, lovely set, sold as found in NON working condition, priced accordingly.  I welcome information on this set.  Carter's IDEAL Typewriter Ribbon tin.  1 7/8" high x 1 5/8" square.


Condition:  Displays nicely, there are a good number of flecks of paint loss.  Light soiling on lid and a very very shallow dent in one corner of lid, otherwise no damage.

Vintage SANFORD'S INK ERASER Tin $20.00

This is a lovely vintage Mallard Drake Duck  on a natural driftwood base.  Duck is bisque and hand painted.  The driftwood base measures almost 5 inches at widest point.  The duck measures 5" long and stands 2 7/8" tall at the head.  Great for the duck collector or as a decoration on your shelf, desk, or den. This piece is lovely, in good condition and SHINY IN AND OUT.  This ornately molded mirror was made to be used on a dressing table or a vanity.  It can be hung or can stand on a dresser or vanity.  Done in wonderful Art Deco colors of green and rose.

Measures about 15" high by 11" wide. Both the gesso and the mirror are in very decent condition, and would be gorgeous in the right room!  Probably circa 1920's. (#T-1415)

Circa early to mid 1900s, green molded plastic, unusual inkwell, top section lifts off, shows gentle use, good vintage condition, about 3" tall, and 3 3/4" diameter around the base.  Manufacturers name is too faint to read on the back of it.  This is cool..real coins inside clear lucite, all coins are dated from the mid 1960s, base about 2 7/8" diameter, 1" thick, very unique piece.  Pen holder will hold a standard size pen.  Minimal wear, good vintage condition with some surface scratches as would be expected.  Not sure exactly what this was used for originally, lovely vintage piece, circa 1940s-50s, brown marbelized catalin bakelite, about 8.5" long, I welcome your information on this piece, I can't remember if this was for cheese, meat, or what?

Unsure if this is gutta percha or vulcanite, circa 1880s-early 1900s, Victorian period piece, lovely hand chased repousse design at the end, approx 2 3/4" long, over 5" when fully extended.  


Beautiful and rare design, gold filled metal with a black rubber like material for the body, ornate zig zag machine work, functional with lead inside and intact!  Excellent condition, usable, displayable, collectible!  Perfect gift idea.  This is very old mail station.  It has a holder for your roll of stamps and also has a scale area to see how many stamps are required by weight up to 2 oz.

 For the discriminating person who has everything!  A Murano ink glass pen, pen holder, and bottle with gold seal, all in the original box.  From L’Originale, Made in Murano, and described as, The style of handwriting with Murano glass.  The first one…the only long-writing ink glass pen.  It looks as if its never been taken out of the box, and is in mint condition.  This is a beautiful set for a special person’s desk.  Shipping weight 1½ lbs.  From my own collection, wood and gold filled pencil on a chain with a pin to attach to a blouse for a teacher, I presume.  measures about 4" long, can be worn from a chain, dates to the late 1800s, Victorian era.  Lovely metalwork very nice condition, all original.
