Old mechanical toothpick holder. Press the Woodpecker's head and he picks up a toothpick  This hotel desk bell it attached to a marble base. It is brass with some discoloration on the bell as shown in photos.  Working with a nice solid ring. Measures 5 1/4 inches tall with a base of 3 .5 in. Very attractive addition to your collection!  This hotel desk bell has an ornate metal base with a red painted bell. Working with a nice solid ring. Measures 4 1/4 inches tall with a base of 3 1/4 in. Very attractive addition to your collection!  This is a vintage check writing machine made by Todd around 1915 and was called a Protectograph approx 16" x 8" x 4"and can be seen at our Snohomish Gallery.

This cast iron apple peeler is made by Goodell Co Antrim. NH. USA. It is marked White Mountain Apple. It has the original wood knob on the handle. It appers to be in excellent condition with all the parts working. Measures 9.5 inches long and 6.5 inches high. A great item for your collection!  This concertina accordian is German made with markings on the metal fittings Gebr: Ludwig's Accordeon Registered Trade Mark made in Germany. The face of the accordian has the imprint Ludwig Accordeon Fine Tree Brand. Stell Bronze Excelsis Reeds. There is some damage as shown in photos, but bellows has no holes and still makes a good sound. Measures 9.25 inches tall. 9.5 inches from handle to handle and 4.75 inches deep. Some knobs are missing. Still a great little collection piece.  This small accordian has no markings but is in good condition. The strap is broken and one key is depressed but otherwise it appears to be in good working order. It is a hard plastic casing with 13 white keys and 9 black keys. Measures 10.5 inches wide and 4.75 inches deep.  This child's microscope was perfect for the small scientist in your family. Complete with slides in a wood case. Contains 2 boxes of slides for a total of 17. Very good condition except the eye guard is cracked and separating from the scope as show in photo. It has been taped in place with masking tape. There is a set of tweezers and a bottle of fixative included. Case measures 9.75 by 4 by 6.75 inches. It has a brass clasp and hinges. The Tasco label is still affixed to the front of the case. There is some white sprays of paint on the top of the case as shown in the photos, but it is not very noticable. Still a great nostalgia item!

Vintage Tasco Microscope in Case $32.00

Notary Seal Press for William Philip Gerald County of York for Connaught Medical Research Labratories U of T. Expiry date July 6, 1973. These devices are used to press the seal into a legal document. Black matt finish with brass plates. Condition is excellent. Measures 9.5 inches to the top of the handle.  This is a one of a kind machine which advertises itself as an eye massage. The Neu-Vita Oculizer eye massage machine is made of black rubber with foam padding around the eye piece. The instructions say "The Neu Vita Oculizer is a high-class practical instrument patented and made in England by use of which Massage of the Eyes is accomplished in the most perfect manner yet discovered. The manipulation is over the closed eyelids with eye cups of the correct size so that it is absolutley safe. The effect is soothing - no pain what so ever. Each renewal of the application is a pleasure. It is applied either at night or morning (for a few minutes only) as prescribed, The eyeballs are thus gently massaged and the nerve centre strengthened, conditions absolutely necessary for good eye-sight. 

The Oculizer consists of a pair of pneumatic bulbs fitted with press button and regulator values. The air tubes are connected with eye cups. These are scientifically correct and their interior constructed so as to corresond with the normal shape of the human eyeball. At the reverse end of the bulbs are two friction cups. The two pnematic bulbs are connected together by means of an expanding frame, which adjusts the distance between the two eye -cups to correspond to the distance between the eyes. The Oculizer when in operation sets up and maintains a vigourous circulation of fresh blodd which brings nourishment to every portion of the eye."  The pamphlet which is included goes on in much more detail for a total of 12 pages. There is  also a list of unsolicited testimonials and a list of overseas companies they ship to.  

Therer are 2 patent numbers on the instrument - 434927 and patent 363101 .

it was made in England and has an extra belt. The condition is quite good with some hardening of the foam padding around the eye pieces. It measures 6.5 inches along the length of the eye pieces and 7.5 inches from handle to top . This is a must have for your mecehanical instrument collection.  Early cast iron mechanical device / tool has original wood knob which turns a gear rotating the disk. Made by Reading Harware Works Reading PA. Manufactured by Barbster Bros. Co. Pat. May 5, 1868. Measures 8 inches across by 6. Another great conversation piece. Price reduced from $75.  Early cast iron mechanical device / tool has brass fittings. It clamps to a table top and has a number of moving parts. Measures 10 inches long. I have no idea what it is used for but it is a great conversation piece.

Made in Italy Flute in leather covered carrying case with brass closures. There are some leaves and the name Rene Duwal engraved on the end of one fitting of the flute. The case is made of wood and covered in leather on the outside and blue velvet on the inside. The case measures 16 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. The flute is in 3 pieces. When assembled it measures 26.5 inches long. The clasps on the box are still working fine but there is some separation of the wood from the frame on one end as shown in pictures. The flute appears to be in fine condition. I don't know how to play it, so cannot evaluate the condition. Nice vintage piece for your musical collection.  Penny scale - This one of a kind scale is a must for your collection. The gauge measures dollars based on the weight of the pennies. It comes in a black tin carrying case and has 5 small metal cups for coins. Made by the Hanson Scale Company. Scale measures 9 inches high to top of flat bed. Diamter of scale face is 6.5 inches. . Box measures approximately  13.5 by 12 by 8 inches.  Unique vintage brass sprayer with wood handle. I was told it is a rose duster. Measures 28.5 inches long. Nice patina on brass body and wooden handle. Looks like there may be something missing from the end nozzle as it has a threaded tip where something could be crewed on.    This is a unique lot of dental items. Includes aluminum molds for upper and lower teeth as well as a stand and solid cast brass mold. The aluminum mold have an imprint "COE USA Spiro Controlled Partial" one has number 57 and the other 53. The cast brass mold has the words Denco V Flask. Patent No. 329979. It breaks apart into 3 pieces. The cast ion stand was produced by Yates Dental Mfg. Co. Chicago. This is a unique addition to your collection!
