Chicago Spring Balance Warranted Accurate. In good, usable, displayable condition. Minor dents normal for the age of this item. Hook and ring are intact.  Offering this rare and hard to find antique dairy creamery thermometer! The thermometer is 9.5" (not including the thread eye at one end) long x 7/8" diameter. It is marked "FARMERS ELEVATOR CO. PELICAN RAPIDS MINN. MADE IN U.S.A. 20 PAT. APPL. FOR" and also has a scale that reads from -80-140 DEGREES. The thermometer is glass within the cast aluminum exterior, all in very good shape. The therometer reads in a red color, a little hard to see in some lighting, otherwise works great. A rare antique thermometer!

 This is a nice clean vintage polished chrome weight set with a total of 7 individual weights. The sizes are marked on each, marked "(2) 2 OZ AVD., (1) 1 OZ AVD., (2) 4 OZ AVD. & (2) 9 GR". There is a place for a small coin size weight, but it is not included. Also is a place to store the included tweesers, all in very good condition. The case is hardwood with latch and hinges, two piece top and bottom and is marked "Henry Troemner Philada MAKER" on the bottom of the case on one end. The case has a good flip latch closure, and hinges, all brass hardware, also in good condition, no damage, some minor edge and surface wear a few stains and tiny dings. Some places inside the box have black felt covering, mostly in very good condition.  Overall a nice vintage round chrome weight set!

Henry Troemner Weight Set Chrome & Case $65.00

A French brass pocket compass with a separate lid. There is a tiny lever which locks and unlocks the compass needle. Glass cover on the compass itself.  The only mark found is Made in France, printed on the dial.  In very good condition, with no dents.  Some discoloration of the brass but no rust. 1/2" thick and 2.5" in diameter.  Sew this button, compass on your jacket and never get lost. Shank type button contains a working compass. I have 3 to sell, Priced each.  This small pocket scope fits in its own case. Measures 2.5 in. long and is about .75 in. diameter. Marked Patent applied for. Wollensak, Rochester USA. In good, usable condition.  A small pocket compass in a brass case. .5" high and 1.75" across.  Has a glass portective shield with removable brass case. Working well.  No makers mark.  The degrees are marked out in numbers. 

The case shows years of use with small dents and discoloration of the brass.

An attractive aneroid barometer, in working condition, made in Germany. Cherry finish solid wood base, nice beveled glass and a brass ring around the outside. Brass ring for hanging it up as well. Measures 5 1/4" in diameter. There are a couple of small nicks in the wood - condition is generally nice.  Circa 1920. (#T-1130)

 This is a mystery to me.  It is a 12" cowhide leather case, stamped in black: U.S.E.D. Inside it is fitted with a wood double compartment which neatly fits the instrument shown.  There is obviously a compass of some sort, although it shows only the North/South directions, and a brass and steel attachment. All seem to be in very good condition, with the exception of the strap on the leather case which has come unsewn on one side.  

More pictures available, if you can give me an answer on this one.  Older Ohaus Gram Scale.  Not certain exactly what this Scale was used for.  Base is about 12 in. length and 11 1/2 in. height.  Plate at the bottom right says Ohaus Newark Scale Works Newark, N.J.  To the right there is a level and the knob to the right of this can adjust the height of the Scale.  Some wear but overall very good condition.  Great for use or to add to one's Scale collection.  Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.

Vintage cowhide doctor's bag. Cool old bag; cowhide leather. Good overall condition. Age est:early 20th C. Minor wear on edges of leather; use black shoe cream to preserve and protect the leather. The brass tag clasp reads: Lilly, then Dale H. Stone D.O. Bag is 13 long x 6.5 tall. Very cool display item! Add a stethoscope, bandages, etc. It is hard to find these old ones in good condition. 1/10ro#2828  A wonderful brass transit theodolite for surveyors use, made by T Cooke & Sons of England. T. Cooke was in business from 1807 until 1922 when the company was merged and became Cooke, Troughton & Simms. Thomas Cooke made his first telescope instrument at the age of 22 and started a small instrument firm which became respected for its fine precision work. His sons continued after his death in 1868, until the merger. This is a surveyors transit theodolite which means it will move through 360 degrees. It is in excellent condition.  A 1950s version of the antique opera glasses.  This is a folding version covered in green faux leather and trimmed in chrome.  Called the Sportsmen. No makers mark apparent.  In good working condition.  Only one small hole in the faux leather top.  See photos.   This is a very nice vintage topographic Abney level that comes with a very nice fitted leather case, with belt loop.  The black crinkle painted, square tube is marked near the eye view lens, "LIETZ NO. 8047-05".  When looking in the viewer lens, the inside mirror allows the used to view the top mounted level to the right side inside the square tube, and adjustment can be made to the inclined until the level matches the measure grade.  This unit is in very good condition, very little wear on the level, with nice brass fittings on the aluminum scale! The level measures 5.3" long overall.  The fitted leather case is clean with a good snap lid, and belt loop.  A few finish scratches are noted, and a past owner's name on the back of the case near the loop, no damage note, in very good condition overall.  A very nice instrument and case overall!  Made by a well known maker, and these are rare to find for sale!

Offered is a very nice and clean Spencer Microscope.  I believe this Microscope is from around the 1940's.  It belonged to a former Dentist and appears to have been well taken care.  Serial # at the top is 161530.  Comes with a 1.8mm, 4mm and 16mm lens w/metal tubes and 6X lens by itself.  Inside the Case is a Blue Cloth Bag in which the Microscope would go in, a couple wood boxes used to hold slides, an Electrical Box Light(not sure the proper name)  and it's 

Instruction Booklet.  The Case to the Microscope is in excellent condition as well and even has it's original keys for locking and unlocking.  If you have additional questions or need more photos please be sure to ask in advance for it's being sold "as is".  Great for anyone with the need for a nice Microscope.  A balance scale that weighs in grams. Used to weigh gold, platinum etc. Comes complete in original blue velvet covered box, case. It has a hasp type lock. Solid brass with balance beam assorted weights etc. Handwritten notes on cardboard of amounts to equal a troy ounce. Best guesstimate is it's from the '20's-'40's era.  This scale is the Viking model #8920 by Hanson. Weighs in 2 lb. increments from 1-200 lbs. Patent number 2299980. Spring type hanging scale in good, usable conditiion.  A table model printer called a platent. Made of cast iron by the Sigwalt Co. A rotating printing press that includes the ink roller. This is the Number 10. From the online research I have done I believe this printer/platent was produced shortly after 1910. It was used for small or short printing jobs like business cards etc. The Chase plate is 3.75 x 2.5 in. Stands 9.5 in. tall, 15 in. wide and about 7 in. deep. In very good condition. Weighs 8 lbs.

The base is 2 in. square.  A vintage, miniature fire extinguisher that is 5.5 in. tall and 1.5 in. diameter. Marked Merlite Industries, N.Y. Presto, "C B"Brass Plated.  A brass grain bucket to weigh grain to determine quality of the grain. Marked Fairbanks Morse. Stands 4 in. tall and is 3.5 in. diameter. 6.75 in. tall with handle. Marked 010. In good, usable, displayable condition.  Out of my league here. I know this is an instrument used to test reflex such as tapping a knee. A scale that folds to fit into its own case. Marked Skyweights, Made in England 0-65-0-3 ok  Pat. Pend. This hanging scale is in very good condition and useful.  A portable typewriter in the original case. This typewriter was used in a pharmacy to type prescription labels so has fine printing keys. Serial number is NA37695 Model 1923 Mfg. designator 1923 Number 1 or 2. Original leather case. Removable cover. Red,Black ribbon, Key lock. In working condition. Purchased from the original owner who is a retired pharmacist.  A Lensatic Engineers Compass. Liquid filled. Has a carrying loop or handle. In good, usable condition.  Scale Weight Set in Wood Case. Top left corner of the lid says Voland. Set comes with many weights starting at 100g and going into fractions of mg. It appears a couple of the very smallest mg weights are missing. Scale set also comes with a pair of forceps. Not certain if the ends are ivory or cellouloid, however, one looks to have had some damages and been reattached as shown in the photo. magazines collecting merchandise shopping collector  This is a nice vintage mechanical adding machine marked "THE LIGHTNING ADDING MACHINE CO. LOS ANGELES CALIF. U.S.A.". It measures 2.5 x 12" long. It's in great shape with nice green paint, and felt covered back. All the mechanical dial turn smoothly and carry over correctly to the next dial indicator to the left. A very nice unit that we see very few of these days! It is design for dollars and cents calculations, the ten thousands.  Offering this Albert Nestler No. 14X Slide Rule with mahogany body, plastic scales and aluminum framed glass indicator. The cursor frame is marked RGM No 400076 + No 17284, under center slide marked No 14 Albert Nestler LAHR (looks to be 1/C)then D R G M, on the back side there is a paper backing with calculations -marked on far right Nachdruck, Verboten. The case is a black two-part pasteboard inscribed, Albert Nestler No 14X DRB No 173660. Rule is in very good condition, no cracks or chips, no stains, indicator and slide work smoothly.  Case has some wear on the black finish, some tape at ends, but very sturdy.  A nice old rule for your collection and use!  A well used hanging scale made of brass and steel. Marked Excelsior Improved Spring Balance Sargent & Co. A few dents from use but has polished up nicely and will display well. One hook for hanging whatever you wish to weigh.

This is a fire extinguisher that is marked Ansul Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher. It is 8-8.5 in. tall with the hanging bracket. About 5.5 in. diameter at the widest part. Nice vintage item for  fireman, firefighting collecting.  This postal scale stands 5 in. tall. It measures 9 in. long and is 4 in. wide. The mail rates list by ounces and 1st class mail 1 oz. cost 3 cents. It's been awhile since we had rates like that to mail a letter. Also quotes rates for airmail, etc. 

Sticker reades Triner Air Mail Accuracy. Usable and a great addition to a post office memorabilia collecton.  This compass is in working condition. Has pin back and a flourescent dial.  This Howe postal scale will weigh from 0-4 lbs. It has the quote for rates for 1st class, 2nd class, airmail, and Foreign 1st Class effective for Mar. 26 1944. Made of cast iron. Measures 20 in. long and 8 in. wide. In good, working condition.

This is a 3 cell Winchester flashlight. In good condition.Display with your Winchester collection.  This metal telegrapher receiver box measures 7 x 5 in. and is 4 in. deep. I think this is World War 2 vintage. Number T 6-5-B. In good condition.  This thermometer is in good working order. It uses mercury to register the temperature from 90 degrees to 110 degrees fahrenheit. Used in an incubator for hatching eggs and newly hatched poultry. Made of white enameled metal and measures 4.25 x 3 in. Unique display item.  A Ketch-All # 2 Mouse trap Made by Kness Mfg. Co. Albia Iowa. Uses peanut butter on a tray.

This is a nice older draftman's instrument (divider) set, the case is  marked "HENSCHEL JHC MADE IN GERMANY". This is quite a large set with several optional pins and attachments, extra points and lead. The pencil is marked "771 STAEDLER MARS GERMANY" on it, and is in good+ condition. The instruments all are in good to very good condition, nicely made, with a minor wear on the chrome plating. The plating on these is not as brilliant as some I've seen, but the machine work and design of the tools is among the best, very well made. The biggest divider is 6" long overall. The case is 5.5" x 10" long. The little plastic case have extra lead, steel point in it. Each of the dividers are individually marked "JHC HENSCHEL GERMANY". The vinyl/cloth/wood case is in good condition with some wear on the outside, there is two clear plastic inside flaps that fold in, plus the top fold over the bottom and two snaps hold all flaps down. A nice clean quality made complete set!  This is a nice older draftman's instrument (divider) set marked "K & E W. Germany". The instruments all are in good to very good condition, very nicely made, with a minor scratch on the narrow one. The biggest divider is 6" long overall. The little plastic cases have extra lead, steel points, and fasters in them. Each of the major instruments are individually marked "K & E W. GERMANY". The hard plastic case is in good condition with some wear on the outside, the hinge is good, one latch to hold it closed is missing, and nice velvet on the inside. A nice clean quality made complete set!  This instrument waas produced by Taylor Thermometer Co. It's a sling type. It's

an instrument that uses the difference in readings between two thermometers, one having a wet bulb and the other having a dry bulb, to measure the moisture content or relative humidity of air.Approx 10 in. long.  This pocket transit is in a military case. Maker is Wm. Avstorta & Sons. Serial # 939. W. Vrunion's Mfg.
