VINTAGE PINK TURBINATOR STANDING SALON HAIR DRYER

Model 15, 115 Volts, 6.9 Amps

Made by The Martin Bros. Electric Co.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL BULLET STYLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! This heavy duty Turbinator Drylite Standing Hairdryer is a wonderful 1950s pink color with clear plastic visor. It's gorgeous! It is a Model 15, 115 Volts, 6.9 Amps manufactured by The Martin Bros. Elec. Co. of Cleveland, OHIO. I ran it for about 5 minutes and it works fine, but probably wouldn't work that great as an actual hairdryer as it doesn't get hot, only blows cold and warm. It would look great in your next stage or screen production or on display in your retro hair salon. These bullet-style standing hairdryers are also being rewired and converted into floor lamps, and sold for big bucks!!

The pole slides up and down, which extends it higher or lower. See photos for condition - there are some larger white spots down towards the base, (as if it was exposed to some type of liquid) where it is no longer pink, but can be touched up. The plastic piece on the hood has a crack where the screw is,(see last photo) but hardly noticeable unless the hood is vertical. A little bit of rust on the bottom feet of the stand.

I do not normally deal in vintage salon items, so I may have missed some detail that is important to you. PLEASE do not hesitate to ask any questions prior to purchase!! This item is non-returnable, so please address any questions or concerns you may have prior to purchase.

Delivery via pickup only!!!! It is extremely heavy, and would need to be picked up from central New Jersey. It can be delivered by me within 25 miles, but delivery fee would need to be paid through Paypal ahead of time and would be treated as a non-refundable deposit.

This is a voltage tester for 55 to 440 volts A.C. or D.C. It is in the original box and does have paperwork enclosed. Made by Powers Mfg co of San Francisco, Calif.

Great vintage electronic collectible.  Very nice old clothes iron. This one was made by General Electric. They called it a High Speed Calrod Wolverine. It has settings for rayon, silk, wool, cotton and linen. Looks like a bakelite knob. The handle is wood that was painted white. Paint looks like it was put on during production. Some of the paint has worn as you can see in the picture. The handle is loose and wiggles from side to side. I am not so sure it wasn't built this way as the handle also has some play but looks like it ws designed that way. Feels solid pushing front to back as you would when ironing. Nice bright chrome with some expected slight scuff marks. It is functional and heats up when plugged in. The cloth covered cord is flexible-not dry and stiff. The cord is removable. Nice and heavy. Check out the other great vintage electronics at Rusty Springs. I will be happy to combine shipping and handling for multiple item orders.    Vintage Universal Clothes Iron. Made by,the trademark known in every home, Universal, Landers Frary & Clark, New Brittain, Conn. Made in USA. Pat no 1870200. Great addition to your laundry appliance collection. Check out the other neat clothes irons at Rusty Springs. I will be happy to combine shipping and handling for multiple item orders.

1950 First Edition Printing of "SERVICING TV RECEIVERS" by SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS INC.This neat repair manual is perfect for anyone who needs to do repairs on vintage televisions. It's amazing to see how far things have come in the past 50 years! Remember the old "horizontal hold" knob? Anyway, the 119 page manual measures 5 1/4" x 7", and is spiral bound. It is printed on heavy stock, glossy paper, and is in good condition with some wear to the cover and some scribbles here and there in the book. There is one page which was torn out, but the bottom 3/4 of the page is still present in the book.

condition, however, a couple of the Manuals due have some rust to the metal edge portion at the front. As a result a few of the first pages are tattered along the inside edge. The rest of the pages within appear to be fine. Just of ton of info that would be of significant importance to any in this field. Great example of a transistor radio from the 60's.  Radio is 5" X 5" and made out of plastic.  Uses a 9V battery which is not included.  In excellent shape no scratches or chips.  Yes, it does work.  What am I doing selling car batteries on Tias? It is a AM transisiter radio. The battery posts or terminals are the knobs for on/off-volume and station tuning. Radio is 4" wide and 3 1/4" tall with the depth being 2 1/2". Does have one little scratch on the front, but not that noticable. It does work well. I put a 9 volt battery in it and jived to the music. Battery not included. Free shipping on this item.  Vintage General Electric Travel Iron with Canvas Carrying Bag or Case. Very nice Old Clothes Iron. Cord fits into a slot behind the silver door with the GE logo. Offered is a just a superb, early Radio Tube Tester built into a very nice Oak Cabinet. I don't know much about this type of equipment but I would guess it was once used in a business of this field. The components to this Tester are marked Jewell Electrical Instrument Co. Dates somewhere around the 1920's to early 30's. As shown in photos there are several gauges to this piece. The largest gauge in the center says Acremeter, Pattern No. 31, Serial #5193, Galvanometer-Radio Frequency, 115 M.A., Jewell Electrical Instrument Co. Underneath this there is an emblem that also says Jewell Electrical Instrument Co., Chicago,Ill. There is two gauges to each side of this center gauge. Both are Direct Current, Milliamperes with Pat Nos. 1604611. The one on the left say 80-->35-80 and the one on the right says 80-->35-80 and 81-->40-80. Underneath these three gauges there is two switches that say Space Charge. Lower left is a gauge for Alternating Current/Volts and there is a plate underneath that says Set at Red Line, Operate at Exactly 110V. Center portion is a clear Plate Cover. Indicators light up for Filament Clear, Plate Short, Grid Short, and Cathode Short. To the right of this is the knob for Voltage Control. Bottom portion of the Cabinet has 19 Separate placements for Tubes. Each one has a plate indicating the variances in each tube's purpose. Bottom front portion of the Cabinet also has a Plate which says Acremeter, Owensboro, Ky Pat Nos. 510,007-504,195. There is also a Plate on the top back of the Cabinet that says Made by Builders Supply Co., Everett, Wash. I believe this is the name of the Cabinet maker. Size of this piece is about 33 1/4" in length, 19" in depth, and 23 1/4" in height. If you have any other questions or need addtional photos please ask early, as I will be selling this "as is". As you can see in the photos this piece is in excellent condition especially for it's age. This piece was purchased from an estate in Northern Ohio and was in the same house for 37 years. One more thing I forgot to mention is that around the edge(on the black)of the Milliamperes gauge on the right is engraved the name of the owner. Judging by both the interior and exterior's condition I would believe that this piece operates fine, but again I'm selling it "as is". I did plug this in and as shown in my last photo the bulbs in the back do light up. That's about all I can tell you but if I've left something out please feel free to contact me. Would be the centerpiece to any collection of Vintage Radio Equipment. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance.

1930s Jewell Electrical Cabinet Tube Tes $785.00
