A vintage set of silverplated bookends. A bust of Abraham Lincoln on a pedestal base. I believe heavily silverplated. Stand 7 in. tall and the base measures 3.25 in. x 3.5 in. No breakage. A lot of patina that may be left as is or polished to your liking. Felt has been applied at some point in time to the base.  A vintage set of leaf shaped bookends. I believe made of Syroco pressed wood with a metal base. Stand 7 in. tall and are 4.5 in. wide and 4 IN. deep. In very good, usable condition. No breakage, just need a better cleaning.  I thik this vintage set of bookends are made of metal, cast iron, with a heavy brass overlay. Stand 5 in. tall and measure 4.75 in. wide and 2.25 in. deep. Felt has been applied to the bottom. I believe from the '50's era. Perhaps earlier. Classic sailing ship design. Very heavy at 9 lbs.  A pair of brass bookends that stand 5 in. tall and are 4.75 in. wide. Felt has been applied to the bottom to prevent scratching a shelf. There is cork where the bookends are against the books. Sticker is still attached that reads Hand Cast Quality Metalware Plated and Lacquered. Philadelphia Mfg. Co. PA. Vintage should be approx. the 1960's era. They have been in storage for years and years. Embossed with acorns and oak leaves. Exceptional, like new condition.

Large and heavy antique Bookends, Showing beautiful pair of Collie Dogs, One in sitting position measures approximately 8 1/2 high and the other one 6 1/2 inches high and 8 inches long, Very fine for age and used condition, No chips or cracks but there are small spots of paint loss as you can see from the images.  A vintage set of bookends in the style of The Thinker sculpture by Rodin. Marked 1928. Stand 7 in. tall. The felt covered base measures 3 x 4 in.They have a shiny gold or brass tone finish. They do not adhere to a magnet, so could be made of brass. Heavy, 8 lbs. for the pair.  Beautiful Art Deco Bookends, showing pair of Horse - Heads, Hand decorated, in black, high glaze and gold accents, No chips but the gold on pedestals is thin, Each stands approximately 5 1/4 inches high.  ADORABLE SCOTTY DOGS, as per images - EACH BOOKEND IS DONE IN ART DECO DESIGN, THESE ARE QUITE OLD, I WOULD PLACE THEM TO BE MADE IN 1930 - 40's,EACH BOOKEND IS MARKED WITH IMPRESSED 2494 NUMBER, TO ME IT SIGNIFIES THAT IS EUROPEAN MADE.Excellent condition,no chips or cracks, but for a glaze crazing, they seem to be hardly or never used, Each stands about 5" high 4 1/2" long and 3" wide and each is quite heavy, as bookends should be. Vintage is unknown but feel they are contemporary.  An elegant bookmark still in the original box. Measures about 14 in. long. The cross is set with rhinestones. The woven goldtone metal ribbon ends with a tassel. Elegant.  A neat set of bookends marked DeZurik 1981. I'm not sure if the image is of a man working in a foundry? or perhaps a glass worker? They stand 7 in. tall and are 5.75 in. wide. About 1.75 in. deep. In good, usable displayable condition. This set is heavy enough to hold up a lot of books.

Use as bookends or just display. The shoe part measures 5 x 2 in. The marble base measures 6 in. long and is 3 in. wide. In very good, usable or displayable condition.  A vintage set of cast iron bookends. In good, displayable, usable condition. They have some paint loss but I would say it is fairly minor considering the age. A previous owner has applied green felt to the bottom to prevent scratching a surface they sit on. Stand 4.5 in. tall and are 3.75 in. diameter. Colorful and a great addition to your library or collection.  A single copperover cast iron bookend that stands 4.5 in. tall, 4.5 in. wide and 2.25 in. deep. Shows a fisherman in a boat. This is a rare set of polychrome finish bookends. They stand 8 in. tall, 4.75 in. wide and 4.5 in. deep. In very good condition. Marked with MB for the Marion Bronze Co. A colorful oriental man seated on a library chair or stool in front of a bookcase with more books on the floor near him. This is a quite rare mold and the polychrome finish enhances the detail Marion Bronze is very collectable and sought after. I believe these would be from the late '30's - early '40's era. No damage that I can find. Old felt on the bottom.  This vintage set of heavy bookends is made of cast iron, I believe, with a brass finish look. They stand 4.75 in. tall and measure 4 x 2 in. wide. In good, usable condition. The molded scene is of library shelves with books and a candle to give the impression of cozy warmth. In very good, usable condition. Vintage and maker is unknown. 18B is on the back side.  I'm offering for sale this vintage cast iron bookend. Just one. Not a pair. Stands 5.5 in. tall. The base measures 5 x 2.75 in. The metal covering the base is slightly loose. Nice patina. Use as a bookend or would make a great doorstop in a room with a nautical decor.  Nice set of older plaster bookends. This great set of bookends features the typical scholar reading surrounds by his books. Green right now, but could be painted any color to match your decor.

This vintage pair of cast iron bookends are a figure of George Washington that stand 6 in. tall. They have some of the applied gilt finish remaining and no cracks, or damage. The base is covered with worn green felt. Not sure of age, perhaps from the '30's-'40's.  A magnet sticks, indicating these are iron, though they have the look and weight of bronze It's always a good idea to carry a magnet while antiquing, a magnet won't stick to bronze or brass.5" tall, 4 1/2" across, Number 3027 or 3023 and company name "Bellville Sargent" etched into the back. Very good condition. bookends  "End of the Trail" also known as "The Last Trail" 1928 Connecticut Foundry Rarity 3. Very heavy. Magnet does stick. 5 inches tall. Incised on back COPR 1928.AWESOME hard to part with. American Indian bookends  This fantastic horse figurine is of a rearing horse in a solid red,amberina glass. I'm not sure if the maker was Fostoria,L E Smith, or perhaps Viking Glass. It's definitely quality glass and I believe it to be from the '50's-'60's era. No nicks,chips, etc. there is what appears to be a straw mark in the glass near the base.Definitely from the mfg. process. It stands 8 in. tall and the base measures 5 1/4 x 3 in. This is a superb item to display with pride.

GLASS HORSE FIGURINE, BOOKEND, STATUE $195.00
This solid glass horse head could be a figurine,statue, or use as a bookend. In Mint condition. Unmarked, but I have seen an ad in a glass collectors digest attributing it to the Gillender Glass Co. A newer collectible. I believe it is approximately 10 years old. Stands 6 in. tall. The base measures 4 3/4 x 2 3/4 in. A bright red color. It will be a standout item to use or display.Apparently Gillender produced their items in a very limited quantity.  This is a lovely pair of Oriental figurines. I believe the composition is of salt or sometimes called white basalt. It's the type of material, that if you put them in the dishwasher, they dissolve and go down the drain. These can also be used as bookends, perhaps intended that way. Standing 5.5 in. tall and the base is 4 in. long and 3.5-4 in. wide. In very good condition with painted faces and silver look trim on their hats,shoes, and edge of the books they hold. The girls hat does have a couple minor dents,chips?, in the edge of the brim, very smooth, no sharp edges. I believe this type of figurine was very popular in the 30's-50's. Priced for the pair.  They have a black, shiny glaze on a tan body. JAPAN is stamped in gold on each one. They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Each one measures 5-1/2"x3"x2".
