This is a pair of weighted bronze bookends by Armor Bronze, with the original paper labels and felt. These ca. 1920's bookends feature two begging puppies, one with a red bow and one with a blue bow. This is a very handsome pair of cast iron bookends, ca. 1930, attributed to Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. Co.. They are molded in the shape of a cathedral window and have a beautiful vine motif within the frame. They have considerable weight, and measure 6.25" x 6". There are four rubber feet on each, typical of Bradley and Hubbard, but one foot is missing. There is a handsome architectural look to this pair. The condition is excellent.  This is a wonderful pair of ca. 1925 bookends by Littco Mfg. Co.. They are very heavy cast iron with a rich coppery brown paint showing some wear. They are 6 1/8" high. One original felt remains. The three dimentional fish are beautifully rendered.  This is a circa 1930 cast iron book rack which depicts a side view of an American Indian brave in headdress. It expands to 23 1/2" and stands 6" high. It is attributed to Judd and is embossed 9964 on the inside of each collapsable end. The dark mustard paint with polychrome highlights shows some wear. A very desirable motif.  This is a perky pair of gray metal bookends known as "The Scot". The ivory painted surface shows considerable wear. They measure 7" high, and still retain the original felt. The metal on these Scotties is in very good condition.

A single cast metal bookend, which can also be used as a doorstop, in the shape of a Clipper Ship, no markings. While it has a copper look, it may be cast iron with a copper overlay finish (we don't know for sure). Very heavy, weighs almost 2 1/2 pounds unpacked. Measures 5 1/4 in. tall, 5 1/4 in. wide, 2 1/8 in. deep. Appears in good condition for its age, but does show its age, with expected age wear, the underside green felt is very dirty or worn, the overall copper finish is very worn (and must have been worn off in some areas). But does have that wonderful old, interesting look. Great for a collector of ship or naval items, or anyone interested in sailing, boating, etc.

Single Old Heavy Cast Metal Clipper Ship $18.00
