"Uncle Sam Tea Pot". July Yankee Doodle Dandy on bottom.Tea Pot is 4" high and 5" across from spout to handle.  This clear glass owl paperweight with controlled bubbles has no makers mark. Today when we think of owls we usually think of them as a beautiful and valuable asset to the natural ecology feeding on undesirable rodents, insects, frogs, lizards, and birds. We marvel at their silent flight, incredible eyesight and hearing, and their ability to almost completely turn their heads around. However, this wasn't always the case. To the Greeks the owl was the favorite creature of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom. The Greeks revered the owl and protected them. To have an owl fly over an army before battle was sign of impending victory. To the Romans, the owl was a creature from the underworld and a portend of impending doom or death. To hear the hoot of an owl meant that there would soon be a death. The English adopted much of their owl folklore from their Roman conquerors. For them, the owl was a sinister creature. It hunted in the night, a time closely associated with death and evil. In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites he measures 4 1/2 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The eagle on the front is painted gold and the banner red with gold lettering. The bottom of the base does not contain the .25" holes and the opening to remove the coins is on the bottom. The bottom is marked Taiwan.

"Uncle Sam Top Hat Bank is plastic on the brim and cardboard for the stack. The top of the bank says: "The Thrift Twins say Save Coins Each Day".The bank is 3" high and 4" across.  Courac Kachina Tray--Black plastic with inlaid Kachina--This item was produced in the 1960s--6 inches wide x 7 inches long--Has some age scuffs--Back has sticker of the piece and Courac of Monterey--There are 4 of these for $12 each  This little box of 115 cards has biblical text references. The instruction card says ""How to Serve Bread of Life" Each card is shaped like a piece of bread and contains religious references from the bible on both sides of the card. The box lid has the following : Bread of Life. 115 slices, made of the Finest of the Wheat, the water of Life, the Milk of the Word, and honey out of the rock. Never gets Stale. This is quite faded but still visible. Box measures 2.75 x 2.75 inches. Good over all condition. A unique collectable.  This is Bing & Grondahl Sea Gull small fluted bowl with gold that was produced circa 1962 - 1970. This pretty Sea Gull is on a graduated blue back grown and has a embossed fish scale texture, with the gold trim around the bowl and accented on the beak, wings, eye and feet. It is approximately 5.75 inches in diameter and in good condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. The back has the B&G Kjobenhavn Denmark 40 B with an H and gold stroke.

Bing & Grondahl Gold Sea Gull Small Flut

This vintage QSL card measures about 3.5 inches by 5.25 inches and includes handmade art with the sender's call sign from Fort Bliss, Texas. The back of the card has a personal message. c1970s. Station verification reports, better known as QSLs, are used in the hobby of shortwave (Ham amateur radio) and Sideband CB radio listening. The term QSL (Qualified Source List) is a term for sending postcards to confirm a two-way contact with a station. These postcards or personally made cards usually contain the sender's location, call sign, technical details concerning the transmission, and sometimes a personal message. This QSL card has a thumbtack mark at the top center of the card; yellowing from age; and slight tearing by the thumbtack hole. Average condition.  This wonderful folding lamp/lantern is complete, original and in fantastic condition. It has retained most of the original japanned and stencilled finish with a few small scratches, flaking and blemishes. The mica window panes are complete without holes, and the interior is reasonably clean though it is clear it has been used. It still has the original oval handle on the back panel; it folds and unfolds easily. It comes with an old candle and damaged matchbox in their storage compartments on the inside of the back panel; the front of the compartments acts as a sand striker for the matches. It's marked with the original stencilling: "Minor's Patent Jan. 24th 1865," four months before the end of the Civil War. The design is ingenious; it cleverly unfolds and the candle holder swings to the center of the lamp; it easily folds back into a compact form for safety when travelling. Folded it measures 3 x 5 x .75 inches; unfolded it measures 3.75 x 3 x 5 inches. It shows better in person than in the photos - it's a hard-to-find item to begin with, but especially in this excellent condition. This unusual candle lantern will make a great addition to any antique lighting or 19th century oddity collection. Guaranteed old and original. "Uncle Sam" Bank. 7" high and 4" wide.  Uncle Sam's "Pledge of Allegiance" Portable Lamp. Plastic with crack under the Pledge of Allegiance. T7/8" high and 43/8" x 4".  Very nice dove tail wooden box made by the Crest Jewelry Company. Great brass strips on the top with metal latch. Box is 7 1/2" X 10" and 3 1/2" tall. Has some scratches, but Liquid Gold will take them out. In excellent condition.  Great bar set that has whisles on the handles. Bar set consists of a stir spoon, a cork screw, a measure cup, and a bottle/can opener. All have "Whistle if you need me" on the handle. In original box. Box has seen better days, but the set is in excellent condition.

This beautiful set of china souvenir salt and pepper skakers from Walt Disney World are marked: Walt Disney Productions / Made in Japan. New in their original box, with rubber stoppers, they measure 2 7/8 inches tall and 1 5/8 inches across the base. An addition to any Disneyana Salt and Pepper Collection. If you have questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.  Beautiful EAPG toothpick holder in the pattern known as Truncated Cube or pattern #77 by Thompson Glass Co. circa 1894. It is approximately 2.62 inches tall and in remarkable condition, with only slight stain loss and only slight table wear to the bottom, there are no nicks, chips, cracks or sickness. This glass pattern reflects the light just brilliantly around it. There are not to many pieces in this condition floating around.  Classic in appearance with its burlap fabric construction done in a basketweave design, this train case was a part of the traveling scene for lady travelers back in the forties to sixties time frame. With its gold tone metal frame surrounding the top, along with four metal feet, a clear Lucite handle, fabric lined interior, and a back wall pocket, this carry-all certainly has that Art Deco styling. The train case stands 5 inches high, is 8 inches wide from side to side with a 4 1/2 inch interior depth, and could work in a variety of ways. It’s roomy enough for toiletries, make-up, sewing notions, camera and film toting, even a chic lunch box. There is some age-related wear and scuffing to the basketweave design and the metal frame, and markings inside, perhaps from make-up usage. There are no rips or tears and over-all this is a fine condition retro train case/carry-all which brings back a timeless sense of style and design.  20 x 22 x 6" Large and lovely, Art Deco boudoir lamp signed by Fanny Rozet. Late 1920's, early 1930's. Fanny Rozet was an important member of the "Evolution Group" -- an Avant-garde group of French sculptors, ceramicists and metal workers in 1925. Excellent condition

39" overall, 18.5" x 9" vase. For you lovers of both Japanese art & our feline friends, the perfect lamp. A genuine artist signed Meiji master work, unlike anything i've ever seen. All hand turned, sculpted & painted. A golden eyed pussycat sits contentedly next to an ancient potted dogwood bonsai perched atop a weather worn rock formation. There are two recently planted bulbs, one recently sprouted atop the flowerpot. The cat has a thick etched overglaze to resemble fur.  "Uncle Sam" Vase that is made of glazed ceramic.
