Now here is something very unusual and extremely hard to find from the 60’s! It is a set of 4 miniature plastic charms in the shape of a record. Each of the ¾" charms features a picture of a different Beatle on one side and a different record label on the other. Each label has the Capital logo at the top. The record titles are "Please me", "Twist Shout", "Standing there" and " She love you". The condition is very good for their age and material. These are getting exceedingly rare and hard to find. The last set we had for sale was in 1997 and hadn't seen them again until now.  Vintage 1980 John Lennon memorial pinbacks. These are first quality pinbacks that were distributed by the Ludlow Sales company in New York city right after John Lennon's death. They sold like hot cakes and were distributed all over New York city for a brief time in 1980 and early 1981. These are from an original case that was never opened and are in great condition (some will show rust on the reverse, but the fronts are all perfect). About 2" square and marked "John Lennon" "1940-1980".

Vintage Beatles licensed Shirt tags that came with Beatles shirts in 1964. 6 1/2" tall. The picture of the Beatles has facsimile autographs and says, "Here's your personal autographed souvenir photo of the Beatles". It is perforated so you could punch it out. Has the famous slogan "Meet the Beatles" on it. These were made for Beatles shirts during the initial British invasion when they first came to the US in 1964. Found in the warehouse where the shirts were made many years ago. Wish we'd have found some of the shirts too!

Vintage 3" tall Elvis pinback. Marked 1978 Photography by Harry Siskind. These were sold right after his death and are unsold old stock found in a distributorship in the Missouri area. Not a real common one.

 The Legacy Continues

A magazine style book on John Lennon.

Contents: Features - The Beatles Years By Bill King; Apple Pie In The Sky By Craig Silver; The Lost Legacy ('Twas $ That Killed The Beast) By Marc Elliot; Lennon Vs. U.S. By Michael Olszewski; Nobody Told Me There'd Be Days Like This - Lennon's Solo Years By Brett Keogh; The Dakota Years By Bob Gruen; Bag One, Lennon On Lennon (Sketches). Interviews: Ray Coleman By Michael Olszewski; Harry Nilsson By Paul Zollo; Scott Muni By Elin Wilder; Fenton Bresler By Michael Olszewski; Paul McCartney By Michael Olszewski. Departments: Films By Raj Bahadur; Books By Eric Danville. Many photos.

New Morning Productions, Inc published Masters from the Summer of 1990 till the Fall of 1992.

The quality of each magazine is what financially put the company out of business. Each issue contained the perfect ingredients: 82 pages of color & b/w photos and as many psychedelic images & posters as the budget would allow; all woven together with ground breaking articles and interviews...even after 25 years the articles touched on new information in many instances.

So many high priced photographs and illustrations were resurrected back to life (in full color whenever possible) that the budget was just too high...Even too high for High Times magazine, who bought the heavily-in-debt publication, absorbed it's assets and put it out of business.

Today each Masters of Rock issue is a prized collectable.

Masters of Rock #2, publishers, 1990. Magazine style, staple bound, 8-1/4 inches wide by 11 inches tall, 82 pages.

Center page is loose from staples. Small crease to back cover corner. Slight edge wear. One picture page is missing. Otherwise very good.

With a Touch Of Gray'

Original Artwork by Michael J. Taylor

In one of the songs Jerry Garcia played with the Grateful Dead, he sang about the 'Heart of Gold Band.' Indeed, the great love and affection Jerry's fans feel toward him, his music and his art are the result of years of playing thousands of concerts during which people lliterally danced with joy. Jerry's wonderful spirit and imagination, grounded in his well-honed craft, comes through in his legacy of music and his equally colorful visual art.

Banded in 24 karat gold, in deference to that 'Heart of Gold' this plate was created from original artwork by Michael J. Taylor. It is limited to a worldwide edition of 1,997 pieces. Made in the United States of America.

It is by VEE-JAY Records and has it's original cover. This cover shows all four BEETLES on it. One side of the record has the song DO YOU WANT TO KOWN A SECRET and the other side has THANK-YOU GIRL. As with all vintage records this one does need a good cleaning, as it has been it storage quite a few years. What a great addition to that vintage BEATLES collection.  This is a vintage 45 record. It is by Indigo Records and features KATHY YOUNG. One side is HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLUES AND THE OTHER SIDE IS SOMEONE TO LOVE. This record comes with it's original cover and has Kathy Young pictured on the front, on the back side is a picture of THE INNOCENTS. This record does play, but as with most vintage records it needs a good cleaning, but we will leave that to the new owners. This record would make a great addition to that vintage record collection.
