Is a young Victorian woman and man, sailing on a boat. Black and red coloring. Condition: Very Good condition. Corners have wear, crease in upper right corner, lower right corner some rub of surface print. Normal soiling. Otherwise, would be great to add to your paper postcard collection. I am actually unsure of what cities these art cards are from but one looks like a New Orleans Street Scene postcard. There is 5 total and the back looks like an older version of Tony The Tiger from the Kelloggs Cereals so they may have been a premium give away or mail in offer. See Photos Please. They are all signed by George Shanz and measure 4 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches, I believe this is an art print, it is unframed with a plastic coating or lamination of some sort on fact to protect it. This is a lovely colorful card by the well loved artist HARRY PAYNE, entitled the Sweetest bit of grass in the meadow, a Tuck’s Oilette, from the Mead & Stream series, posted pre 1910 (smudged cancel), very nice condition, bottom right corner light bend & nick, but not detracting at all. A beautiful postcard to add to one’s collection.
