ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO 'ALICE' W.M. CHASE PHOTO POSTCARD. c.1910. PICTURE OF A GIRL HOLDING A RIBBON. UNUSED, DINGS ON THE EDGES AND CORNERS.   This card is from the 'Davidson Bros. Real Photographic Series, London & New York,' Printed in England). 'Most Invigorating' is the legend above the scene of a couple hiding behind a pretty umbrella on the beach. The photo has lots of detail and is quite interesting! The card has a non-divided back with a message written across the entire side. It has not been used postally and has no stamp or other date information, but appears to be from very early 1900s. No defects beyond corner blunting.   What a cute young girl is posing for this early real photo postcard! With her high-button shoes crossed at the ankles and a lovely necklace with a cross around her neck, the outstanding view here, of course, is the huge bow she wears in her hair! We're not sure whether she was also posing her hand … or her ear was itchy! It's just a cute one! It's from the 1910-1930 era, has divided back and is unused. Only defects are minor corner blunting.  Vintage real life photo postcard, dipicting a portrait of a young girl. Back has some writing, front shows signs of age.
