Antique Osborn brass bird cage. Very nice condition on this antique cage. Front metal label reads: Osborn Mfg. Co., Hudson St. New York. Has 3 wood perches and wood swing. The 2 porcelain treat cups are Made in Germany; the back part of one of the seedcup is broken off. This small cage would have been used for a finch. It stands 11 inches tall not counting the top finial. It is 12.25 wide x 9.5 deep. The bottom tray is very thin and delicate. Due to its age it probably should just be used as a display or decorative item and not for birds. Age est: 1900's or earlier. 1/11k#3188  Lovely vintage bird planter. Incised Made in USA #450 mark on it. Finch or canary? Have not had time to check my books yet on its maker. It has no cracks; a couple of pin dot fleabites near the circle portion on front; you could dab with light green paint to cover these if you need perfection but they are not really noticeable or distracting. Flat dry bottom. It is 6 tall x 5.5 long x 3 wide. 12/10s#  One of the most unusual and neatest Bird Cages we have seen. 1920 Antique in excellent condition. The Gold Mesh has a sparkle to it and there are no broken wires. The door opens and closes nicely. The finial tops it off nicely. Very cool for a Cottage type surrounding and may be used for a small bird. Top opens for easy cleaning.  Cool antique brass Hendryx birdcage. Domed style on a pedestal stand. Has two glass seedcups that I added to it. Plaque on door reads: Hendryx, Reg. US Pat Off, Made in USA, New Haven, Conn. Note the old State abbreviation. It also has a wood swing inside. It stands 16 tall to finial x 13.5 wide on bottom. This is so old I don't think you'd want to put a live bird in it; maybe a faux feathered bird or flowers. Once used for finches or canaries. Hendryx Domed Pedestal Birdcage $265.00
Cool vintage Hendryx birdcage with glass seedcups and wood bird on swing. Age est: 1920'-30's. This cage appears to have been painted a few times through its history; some paint drizzles on mesh. You could leave as is, repaint, or strip it and repaint. It is 13.75 x 9 at bottom x 15 tall. It has mesh around bottom sides, not glass. The little wooden bird on wood and wire swing looks antique. Two glass USA seedcups with it. 7/10brcs  Large domed antique birdcage. Aqua paint. Good overall antique condition; (some paint loss/chipping). Decorator's delight! Tray on bottom is rusty, has a wire handle that flips up or down. Needs to be lightly cleaned under the tray, (some old leaf and dirt matter). It stands 35 inches tall x 14.5 wide x 8.5 deep. It would be great in a sunroom! This is a beauty that you don't want to pass on! 5/10s#3112  Awesome antique Hendryx brass cage. Stand sold separately. Awesome Pagoda style w/2 glass seedcups and a wooden swing. Good condition for its age which is c:1920's. It reads: Made in USA, Hendryx, US Pat Off, New Haven, Conn. Note the old State abbreviation. It is 15.5 tall x 11.5 wide. The brass and iron stand is being sold separately and only if you can pick it up in MI. It is a great stand and is $200. It is 66.5 tall, brass w/nice patina, bottom is iron for stability with brass over the iron. The cage can be used for canaries or finches, but most people just use for display w/silk plants in them. These are very hard to come by in decent condition. Why pay more? At other sites these are over $699! 2/10#2896merm  Vintage Art Deco Hendryx Birdcage. Cool old birdcage; age est:1920's. Glass panels; 2 have art deco design, (front & back), sides are clear. One side panel has a small chip on it, no biggie. Cage is in good vintage condition and comes with 2 Hendryx seedcups, a milk glass bird bath; a swing and perches. The cage will fit canaries or parakeets. Vintage glass bird seedcups for sale. both markeed: USA. No chips or cracks. They are 3 long x 2.25 wide. They could use a more thorough washing in the dishwasher. Getting hard to find these old ones! 11/09ro-cs  Vintage pottery bird vase. McCoy? Shawnee? Have not checked the books yet. Thick, heavy, definitely USA made. It stands 7.5 tall x 3.5 wide. It would have been used for finches or canaries. utant#  For sale is a vintage Hendryx chrome decorative birdcage. (this is not antique, but is vintage). This cage has painted red flowers on the glass panels and the name Hendryx; the Hendryx name is also on the metal side bottom area. This cage is 14 long x 15.5 tall x 9 wide. Vintage condition; bottom tray is rusted and some rust tinge on the chrome areas. Hardward stores sell metallic chrome paint if you want to re-do it; or spray it another color to match your room! Vintage Hendryx Chrome Birdcage

Antique Hendryx bird cage. Cool pagoda style antique bird cage; very decorative! Brass clips to hold the cage onto the base; tin bottom panel, brass hanger on top. Metal tag on front that reads: Hendryx, Made in USA, Reg. US Pat. Off, New Haven, Conn. (note the old state abbreviation). Has green mesh screen around it. Flaws: the bottom part that slides out is scratched and has some rust, but the bottom green base is in good condition. The chrome fender on the pullout tray needs to be soddered or glued back on in one corner, (this is not a noticeable flaw). 'Good overall antique condition'. This cage stands about 18.5 tall x 15 wide across circular top part; bottom part is 12.5 wide. One site says the mark used dates from 1884-1907; can't verify that, but this is an antique cage. You also get the vintage paperback bird book as a free gift, titled: Feathered Pets by Chas N. Page, 1898, 20th edition. Makes a fantastic ecclectic furniture accessory item! Has a tin and brass pullout tray; a turned wood swing, a brass bell, 2 wood perches, 2 vintage porcelain seedcups, and a vintage porcelain birdbath free with purchase! Good antique condition, just the bottom tray has turned a greenish color, (adds to its charm). Has a brass metal plaque on it which reads: Osborn Mfg. Co., Trade Mark 685, Hudson St. N.Y. The top attaches to the bottom tray via 4 brass clips making it very easy to remove for cleaning. A fantastic cage once used for finches and/or canaries! Will complement any decor. c:late 19th, very early 20thC. (pic #3 shows it sitting atop a brass footed trivet which is $75 if you want it specify in order). A decorator's delight! (You'll pay about $800 or more at other dealer's sites!). Great for a canary, or silk flowers, or wedding displays! Attractive cage with metal label: 'Crown' on front. It is 14.25 tall x 13 long x 9 deep. Overall good vintage condition. Age est: 1920's-40's. It has two Crown plastic seedcups, a treat cup, and two other tiny cups. Very cool cage; you can spray paint to match your decor! Decorators love these old cages as furniture accessories! And, they look great out in the garden too! I have the matching stand also, but it is being sold separately and it must be picked up in MI; it is $100 if interested. It is too big to box and ship.
