Vintage Carnival Prize Chalkware "Old Balloon Seller". Most likely from a rubber cast made in the early 1900's from the "old Balloon Seller" figurine by Royal Doulton. It measures 7 1/2" high and is very solid. There are a few chips as would be expected from a chalkware piece of this vintage.  Vintage bird with nest Carnival Chalk or Chalkware. Measures approximately 8 3/4" high, 8" long and 3 1/4" wide. These type of Carnival Prizes were made up until the 1950's. They were poorly molded and had gaudy paint jobs. Flaws like rough areas and small holes are common. The overall condition is good to very good. There is no apparent paint wear; however, there are a few chips which are expected in this type of item.  Pretty chalkware plaque, Perfect to decorate your kitchen or any room, In excellent condition, Measuring about 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches, ready to display.  Vintage 1940's Carnival Chalkware Figurine of Snow White. She is 14.5 inches high and is in quite good shape considering the age and how fragile Chalkware is.

Carnival Chalkware Figurine Snow White $50.00
This is a chalkware figurine. It is a brown haired girl sitting and playing a guitar and singing. It is in fair condition with some paint loss.  Wonderful set of a chalkware pocket planter with plastic flowers. Planter is 7 1/2" X 9 1/2" and is in excellent condition. The set comes with the cutest chalkware doves. They are 5" X 6" and they are both in excellent condition.  This chalkware of a Bluejay sitting on a branch figurine was made in Japan for Brinn. It measures 3 1/2" high, 2 1/2" deep by 1 1/4" wide. In very good condition with some light loss but no large chips as is usually found in vintage chalkware.  Fantastic wall plaque, Made in England, by Legend Product, Famous for quality, great detail and decorative qualaties of their products,In great condition, but for a tiny rougness spot under the rim of left corner, Measuring approximately 8 x 8 inches.

Antique Wall Plaque English Cottage $32.00
Mid 20th Century Wall Decor, Handcrafted and Hand Painted, Black with Coppertone and Silvertone Feathers. They have loops and wires set into back for hanging. Measure approx 6 inches high X 8 1/2 inches wide. And 5 1/2 inches high X 9 inches wide. They have some tiny chips, nicks along the back side of edges. Each has a tiny nick approx 1/8 inch on front surface. I think they would touch up easily with a magic marker. Price is for the Set of Two.  Adorable set of vintage chalkware duckies for hanging on the bathroom wall or even your infant’s room. The smallest has a repair to its foot. The other two do have a tiny spot of color here and there missing. The only mark on them is the copyright symbol. The largest is 6" tall.  Set of 3 vintage chalkware fish for the bathroom wall. One large blue one that is 9" long by 5 ¾" wide. Two smaller ones that are 3 ¼" long by 2" wide. All are in excellent condition. None are marked.  Cream colored with gray and forest green speckles, textured, painted face features. Heavy, has slots for cigarettes, and indent for placing a glass ashtray in center. Glass dish is not original, and sets above the slots, but maybe you have an ashtray to fit it. If not, it could serve as a terrific trinket or jewelry pin dish. Unmarked, maker unknown. Circa 1960s to 1970s is my best guess. No chips, cracks. Has minor signs of use, rub wear inside bottom where the ashtray sets. Great decor or collectible for the Poodle enthusiast.

Vintage Mid 20th Century 1940s 1950s Hand Made Home Crafted Chalk Ware Wall Hanging. Three Dog Heads centered on oval Buckled Belt, appears to hang over a fence or stand. Colors are Brick Red Rust, Brown, Tan, and Light Gray. Back has a twisted wire hanger. Measures 4 1/2 inches high X 5 inches wide. No major damage. One tiny chip on bottom edge as shown in photo, and some paint discoloration in a few areas. Gift Item for the Scottie Enthusiast.  Pair of 1962 Miller Studio plaster dancer for the wall. Girl has had her neck repaired. They are dressed in black and white jester style clothing. They are 14" tall.  Wonderful victorian style plaques made out of chalkware. Vintage Chalkware of Jesus on his knees praying. Main color is baby blue with baby pink accents of what looks like a sunset or sunrise shining on Jesus's face. Very nice condition with only minor scuff marks. Has a wire loop embeded in the back for hanging.  Vintage Chalkware Horn of Plenty Wall Plaque. 3-D lettering reads, Give us this day our daily bread. Background is metalic silver with corn stalks growing up the sides and over the top. The horn is filled with vegetables. Corn, radishes, tomatoes, peas, apples, squash and oranges. There are no chips or repairs but it does need a good cleaning. CHALKWARE WALL PLAQUE - ROSES #2 $19.99

THIS IS PRETTY CHALKWARE WALL PLAQUE, DEPICTING BEAUTIFUL RED ROSES, Measuring about 7 1/4 inches in diameter, it is not perfect as this one as old it is, some small nicks and few spots of paint off which could be fixed easily. It is heavy as normally chalk ware is.  This is a very large chalkware Poodle. It stands 11 inches tall with beautiful blue eyes and a matching blue collar. It also has red lips and black paws. It has been well cared over the years. The paint is all intact and I could not find any damage. The glaze may have a slight yellowish tint from age. The bottom has some manufactures marks and air bubbles but this is normal. Please look at all of the pictures and you will fall in love  I have never seen a Chalkware this size before. Wonderful cupids with their musical instruments. Each plaque is 19" X 16" and does have "Mexico" on the back. One little chip on the top of one plaque (see picture), but otherwise both are in excellent condition. Are very heavy, will not have the price of shipping until purchase.  Two unusual pieces of old carnival chalkware - they're bear figurines and they are flocked. The standing bear is 10-1/4" tall and is mounted on a molded plaster slab painted to look like a slice of redwood tree trunk. The front has is smooth, and is where a label or souvenir decal would have been placed. If the bear ever had one, it's no longer present. The second bear is about 10" long by 5-3/4" high. I'm not sure how well you can see it in the pictures, but the bears' "fur" is textured under the flocking to simulate natural muscles and skin folds. Both are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, just a few very minor wear areas to the clocking, mostly at the backs, and the usual small manufacturing imperfections common to old plaster chalkware. No markings as to manufacture or origin but they are at least 70 years old and wonderful. Price is for the pair.

Large Vintage Chalkware Wall Hanging or Sofa Set. Very nice Unmarked Vintage Chalkware set. Center Medallion is a flower vase with a gold accented floral bouquet. The wall sconces are candle holders also with gold accents. A wonderful shabby chic retro set. No visible chips, cracks or repairs. Price is for the three piece set.  Wavy Bowl, Claire Burke, Embossed bricks and acorns. This unusual Claire Burke bowl is 4 1/4" tall and 7 1/2" in diameter. The exterior is unglazed and is covered in raised bricks with a trim of acorns around the wavy top. The interior is glazed in a beautiful wine-red color. It's in excellent condition (a couple of manufacturer's misplaced pottery drops). Marked "Claire Burke TI"  Adorable antique bookend or just plain figurine. This chalkware couple has a celebration to attend as it appears they have just gotten married. Done in ivory with pastel highlights to the flowers and faces. They are in good condition with minor cracking to the paint at the bottom of the stand. Also a nick on the brim of his hat and a flake under her hat’s brim. They stand 6 3/4" tall by 4 1/4" wide.  Vintage Oriental Chalkware Figural Wall hangings. Decorative Oriental Man and Woman Chalkware set. This lovely pair is marked Manley on the back. Three Dimensional Figurine Heads. The man has a red had with a black insignia and tassel with a lime green collar. The woman has a red and lime green hairpiece with a red collar. Each piece has a wire hanger on the back. There is some paint loss. More on the woman than the man. No chips or cracks. Price is for the pair. I bought this picture for the chalkware frame.  Picture showing was of a horse cut out of a magazine, and behind that picture was the original litho picture of these german shepards.  Picture has "Litho 1939" on the corner.  Frame is 7" X 6 1/4" and the glass is beveled.  There is one spot on the top of the frame where the paint is coming off (see picture), but otherwise in excellent shape.  PRETTY VINTAGE WALL PLAQUE, THESE WERE A MUST IN EVERY WELL DECORATED KITCHEN, PRETTY,COLORFUL FRUITS, as for images - Excellent condition for age,no chips or cracks but for some paint loss,Please study the images as they are part of description.It measures about 6 3/4 inch x 5 1/2 inch, Buyer pays for shipping and insurance.  Vintage Chalkware Sailing Ships-Set of Three. Vintage Pair of Chalkware Bookends depicting a Smiling Tropical Island Native (or Pirate) bearing a Fruit Basket on her head. They are marked (copyright) 1944 and D (or P) OICS? which I cannot decipher. Each bookend measures 6 1/4'' tall and 5'' wide. The felt on the bottom is worn (I've left it as found) and except for a few small light paint rubs/flakes these chalkware bookends are in very good condition.  A great set of chalkware bookends depicting bears at the mouth of rock caves, a vintage souvenir of Yellowstone National Park. They're 4-3/4" high by nearly 5" wide and have green felt protecting the bottoms. The bookends display wonderfully from the front but they have the normal wear and chipping common to old chalkware on the backs and sides. The damage is best visible in the second picture. It isn't bad, just some chipping to the back corners and wear at the upper back tops. The only wear visible from the front is a rub mark chip to one bear's nose, shown in closeup in the third photo. There are no identifying marks but I don't they date any later than the 1950s, perhaps earlier. See my other listings for more vintage and antique Yellowstone souvenirs and memorabilia.  Great colors are on this wall pocket / chalk / string holder, shaped like a parrot. Size: 9 inches length by 5 inches width and depth is about an inch and a half, with a wire hanger at the top. Condition: Has several edge chips, which could easily be touched up if desired. I prefer to leave everything in original, as found condition.  Lovely set of old chalkware wall hangers from Miller Art Studio. This set of swans is in excellent condition. They are dated 1968. Each swan is done in white with black and gold highlights. They are a mirrored image set. They stand 7 3/4" tall by 9 3/4" long.

Vintage Chalkware Lamb Chalk Wall Hanging 1950s Decor. Unmarked - but so very Cute! Circa 1940s - 1950s Children's Nursery Rhyme plaque. Measures 7 inches high X 7 inches wide X 1 3/8 inches thick. No chips - cracks. Hanger is good. Paint is nice with exception of some missing on the black hooves and a speck on one eye. One tiny spot on bow trim is nicked but does not show without very close inspection The paint could easily be touched up. The patina is ivory or creamy white with peachy pink mouth and bow trim. It has silvertone sparkles in the wool. A darling decorative accent piece for a baby or toddler's room.  Little man getting ready to flush himself down the john with, Farewell Cruel World, written across the front. Novelty Ashtray that was sold or given away at Old Time Carnivals. It has 2 tiny chips along the front rim but is the norm for a piece this age, and it has never been used as an Ashtray. Cute Gift to someone trying to quit smoking. Easy ship.  Little Chalkware Ashtray displays little girl with her bare behind showing and a little bear looking at her. Says With Her Little Bear Behind. These were Novelty Items that were sold or given away at Old Time Carnivals. The bears ear is chipped off on the back side and some paint wear as shown in photos. We have a few more of these novelty items listed under Chalkware. Never used as an Ashtray. Easy ship.  Old Chalkware Ashtray. Two little oriental boys Bille Can under one of them, and Bille Can't under the other. Remarkably good shape for its age, very little paint wear and tiny scuff mark on side of Bille Can't head. These were Novelty Items that were sold or given away at Old Time Carnivals. Never used as an Ashtray. May be used as a tip tray. Easy ship.

This was probably a prize from the carnivals in the 30s/40s. Made out of chalkware with the hole for the money in the back of the head. I don't think the stopper is original. Colors are still very vibrant. In excellent shape. Does have one chip on the hand and a little chip on the leg.  A wondreful paid of chalkware plaques from the 70s.  Plaques are 10" X 4" and has "1975 Miller Studios Inc." on the side.  Both have wires in the back for hanging, and both are in excellent condition.  Bowl, Claire Burke, Embossed Peaches, Hand Painted. This is a beautiful "raised peaches" bowl made by Claire Burke. The exterior is unglazed and is covered in raised peaches with green leaves and pink flowers. The interior is glazed. It stands 2 3/4" tall and is 7" in diameter. It is in good condition--only a couple of tiny factory done paint misses. Marked "Claire Burke".  Great old chalk picture dates about 1950’s or 1960’s and is titled " The Olde Mill Road" and shows a man fishing in a stream and the old mill across the bridge with a red roof. Nice vivid colors in this picture - it measures 7 inches by 9 ¾ inches, has a rear corner chip to the chalk, and has two wires on the rear for hanging.

Olde Mill Road - Chalk Picture $5.00
A vintage chalk string holder in the shape of a pear with some plums. It has all original paint. It measures 6" across by 3" deep and 8" high. It does show some wear to the paint with some scratches and a few small chips to the chalk, but overall a solid string holder.  I just fell in love with this pair of framed chalkware pictures. Reminds me of the Hummel design. One picture has a little boy with a rabbit and the other has a little boy with a dog. The chalware pictures are in excellent shape, frames do have some nicks, but makes it look more antique. Chalkware pictures are 5" X 4 1/4" and frames are 7" X 6". Has a ring for hanging.  I have seen these two in many collectable magazines. Cutest pair of 1950s pot holder hooks you have ever seen. Both are 6" tall and have a hook on the bottom to hang pot holders. Still have the original ribbons, but does have a little bit of paint rubbing off. Boy plaque does have a chip on his nose and girls plaque has on small one on her lip, otherwise in good condition.  Featured for your enjoyment is a lovely old chalkware bookend. This is a pair of children who seem to have just gotten married! They are done in an ivory with pastel pink and blue flowers. Both have a light brunette hair with dark eyes. They are in wonderful condition with a few tiny nicks of glaze here and there. They stand 6 3/4" tall. I have a very similar set that is in white which may make the other bookend.

Featured for your enjoyment is a great old chalkware set of Dutch kids. These are a kissing couple. The boy has a larger chip on his shoes and has been repaired at the ankles and neck. These repairs are not easily seen. The girls has a few glaze flakes. Neat old set. They stand 6 1/4". Girl stands 6" tall.  Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful old chalkware wall hanging. This is a thick wall figurine. The person is of east Asian decent is all I can tell. She is in a lovely pose with her powder blue robe and crown style hat. She is in excellent condition and has only one glaze nick on her robe, lower center. Also the tips of her toes are a bit rubbed. She stands 14" tall.  Featured for your enjoyment is a pair of very old little chalkware figurines. These little guys only measure 3 3/4" tall. Both are identical other then coloring differences. The little guy with the orange stand does have a small chip out of the stand. Both are dressed in traditional Dutch clothing.  Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful old wall plaque. Unmarked. Cute circus elephant on a ball. Done mainly in black. There is red and blue in there too. He does have a chip on the back inside leg and a tad of paint loss inside the trunk. He stands 6 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" across.

Vintage Chalkware Circus Elephant Wall P $8.99
Featured for your enjoyment is a set of wonderful old chalkware wall plaques from Miller Studio. They are dated 1964. Done in an ivory with a fawn in the groves to highlight them. Wonderful condition. Smaller one has a nick on his ear, shown. They sort of look like a mare and foal to me. Larger one is 9" tall by 6’ across. Smaller one is 7" tall by 8 1/4" across and that chip is 1/4" long by 1/16" deep.  Older, probably from 1950’s Chalk bookends, with a dog on each side, with a Pug nose, guarding his bone in front of his doghouse. Condition: slight scuffing on edges, and a chip off the roof of the doghouse, on one. Still they are DARLING!  Cutest gray poodles made out of chalkware. Each poodle is 8" long with a few nicks, but nothing major considering how hold these are.  Bossons Saracen head wall plaque has exquisite realistic detail. Embossed Bossons 1960 Saracen England. Bossons Rawhide head wall plaque has exquisite realistic detail. Embossed Bossons 1967 Rawhide England. On back it has Bossons England. Measures 6.5 inches high. Condition is very good. Some small black discolorations on the underside of the brim of his hat and a small flake of the paint on the rim.  This Bossons head is the figure of Old Timer. A cowboy hat and corncob pipe give him a rakish air. The quality of the figure is apparent in the realistic character of his face. Condition is very good, with tiny flaking on the rim of his hat. Measures 6 inches high.  I can't make out the name of this figure (Paddy?) but his Irish eyes are smiling and he has a bit of clover on his collar. Reaslitic detail to the face makes him a great addition to your collection of Bossons Head figures. He measures approximately 5 inches high. Condition is very good. A tiny chip on his pipe (hardly noticable) and one on his underside where the name is embossed. There is also a small paint chip on the side of his hat.  This wall plaque of a turbaned mid eastern face is realistic in it's detail. The quality of craftamnship is apparent. This figure is marked Abdhul Bossons 1960 England. He is in very good condition with some minor paint loss on his nose and on his turban as shown in the photos. He measures about 8 inches high and will make a dramtic addition to your collection.
