Large vintage Coors Pottery mortar and St. Joes pestle. Mortar is 3.5 tall x 5.5 wide; no chips or cracks. Pestle is marked: Made for Labco Intl, St. Joes, Mich. USA. Note the old State abbreviation for Michigan. Pestle is 5 inches long; good condition. Neat collectible for a pharmacist, doctor, etc. 1/11smc  Vintage Coorsite China Pottery Blue Teapot 901. The H. F. Coors Pottery and was founded in Inglewood, Califorina in 1925 by Herman Coors, the third son of Adolph Coors of Coors Beer. Herman Coors had worked with his father and two brothers during the early years of the Herold China and Pottery Co. and became manager of the plant in 1916. The H. F. Coors Pottery did not make chemical porcelain but produced many other items such wall tile, faucet handles, shower heads, plumbing fixtures, doll heads and commercial pottery for the hotel and institutional market. The most typical marks are H. F. Coors Inglewood Calif, Chefware, Coorsite and Alox. The company closed sometime in the 1980's.


This teapot has an estimated age of the 1930's to 1940's. It has an embossed scroll like pattern, one longer scroll swirl with a smaller one on each side. It is 4 1/2 inches tall at the tallest point, 8 inches long and about 5 1/2 inches wide and holds 6 cups. The lid is unique, rounded with one straight side, the bottom is embossed with Coorsite and the number 901. It is in excellent condition, no chips, a glaze skip on the inside bottom and no signs of use, it has one little spot under the edge of the lid that appears to be a factory mark. A lovely addition to your collection!  Small vintage Coors Pottery ceramic mortar and pestle. Good condition; both pieces are marked: Coors USA and numbers. Mortar is 3 wide x 2 tall; pestle is 3.5 long. Great for crushing pills or herbs or as a gift for a doctor; pharmacist, etc.! 4/10brncs  Sleek 1950s Modern Black African Nude Female Figural Small Statue. Unmarked, maker unknown. Measures 9 7/8'' tall, 8'' long and 3'' wide (hard to measure width). She has felt cushions on the base. No chips, cracks or crazing but you can feel a tiny rough spot on the bottom of her feet which is not visible. Perfect for the Fifties modern or art deco style lover.

Sleek 1950s Mod Black African Figural Fe $85.00

Black Native African Head Vase Flower Holder with wide Gold Trim, circa 1950s. Unmarked, dry bottom so likely vintage USA pottery. Measures 6 1/2'' tall and 4 3/4'' wide. The glossy glaze creates glare when photographed, so it's hard to get a good picture, but he has also has green eyes and red lips. There is a little wear to the cold paint on the eyes and lips as well as the gold trim but nothing distracting. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on this remarkable sleek fifties example.  Matte white Coors Pottery vase. Good sized vase; has aqua/turquoise interior; the book calles it 'Brighton' pattern. It is 8 inches tall, no chips or cracks. One tiny black mark on one side. 5/09flcs  This is a soup bowl by H. F. Coors Company of Inglewood, California. It is white with a blue band and has 'le crocodile bistro' in blue letters on the rim. Measures 9 1/4 inches across, 1 1/2 inches deep. In mint condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. Marked on bottom.  M F Coors China Brown Pottery Covered Crocks Canisters Set. These canisters or covered crooks are rather hard to find, they date to 1940's to 1950's and were made by M.F. Coors China of California.  There are three of these, they are just over 3 1/2 inches tall and about 4 3/4 inches across, all three are marked as shown in the picture.  They are all in lovely condition, they do not have any chips but do have some minor glaze skips common in these types of pieces.  They would be a lovely addition to your collection or to your kitchen!
