Vintage Dorchester Pottery Stoneware individual covered soup/casserole dish featuring a hand decorated PEACH design on both front and back and also the lid. The casserole measures approximately 5-1/2" handle to handle, 4-1/2" diameter, and 2-1/4" high. The inside features a blue swirl and measures 3-3/4" diameter x 1-3/4" deep. The lid measures 3-3/4" diameter and has the matching fruit design and a solid blue knob on top. The base is marked with DORCHESTER POTTERY, C.A.H. (Charles A. Hill, decorator). The glaze is a smooth, even matte finish, there are no cracks (other than a firing crack near a handle) or repairs - normal Dorchester glaze drip imperfections. This is a wonderful piece to add to any Dorchester and/or pottery collection.  Vintage Dorchester Pottery Stoneware individual covered soup/casserole dish featuring a hand decorated GRAPE design on both front and back and also the lid. Hill, decorator), . The deep rich blue swirl saucer measures 4-1/2" diameter and the base is marked DORCHESTER POTTERY, J.M. (Joseph McCune, decorator). There are no cracks or repairs - normal Dorchester glaze drip imperfections on the backside of saucer. The cup measures approximately 4-3/4" high, 3-1/4" diameter (5" from rim to handle) . The base is marked with DORCHESTER POTTERY, C.A.H. (Charles A. Hill, decorator) and E.H.H. highlighted in blue. In addition, his initials CAH are on the base of the handle. There are no cracks or repairs - The glaze is a smooth, even matte finish, there are no cracks or repairs - normal Dorchester glaze drip imperfections. There are no cracks or repairs - normal Dorchester glaze drip imperfections on the backside of saucer. This is a wonderful piece to add to any Dorchester and/or pottery collection.  Porcelain Bootee Planter, Block of California, circa 1940's. Richard G. Block Pottery was the official name of this family-owned business that operated in Los Angeles from 1940-1949. This precious Block planter measures 3" tall, 4" long and 2 1/2" in width. It has an ivory white background with a big pink bow and pretty blue flower on the top of the shoe. There is light overall crazing. It is a sweet piece, clean and in wonderful condition for its age. It has the Block of California mark on the base.
