We are offering a vintage ash tray. The white bone china piece is delicately decorated with a floral bouquet. It measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The piece has a black Royal Albert Bone China England mark. Unsure of the pattern name. The piece is free from chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs. The net weight is 10 ounces.  Antique Figural Vase made of Hard Paste displays French mail on swing of large tree decorated with hanging grapes and clematis vine growing up the side. Smooth shiny and very detailed. Marked with number 8565 on the bottom. Manufactured late 1800s.  Gorgeous Dresden Lavender Demitasse Cup and Saucer Bird Handle Courting Scenes This is a lovely Dresden demitasse cup and saucer. The blank was made by the P. Donath Company, Silesia, Germany, and it was decorated by Richard Klemm, c. 1920s. The cup has a wide gold band inside with a bird handle. It measures 2 1/2" x 2 3/4"; the saucer is 4 1/2". <p. The set is a very unusual lavender magenta ground. We've never had a set quite this shade. The cup has a hand-painted courting scene cartouche, and the saucer has flowers. It is all over decorated with lavish gold. Excellent condition.  We are offering a vintage vase. The jasperware piece stands about 3 1/2 inches tall and measures 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The urn shape piece is decorated in white relief mythological figures and floral wreaths. The color is blue and the vase is marked Wedgwood Made in England. We believe it dates from the 1960's. The vase is free of chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs. The net weight is 9 ounces.

One small fleabite on top rim, extraoridinary condition for its 182 year age as of this writing in 2012. Collector piece. Will ship insured, tracking, and as always well packed.  Antique Polychrome Large Purple Grape Plate from Germany. This is a stunning piece, large, bright and bold purple grapes against a green and aqua background, probably of German origin and dates to the early 1900's. It is 10 3/4 inches across, the back has a mold place for the wire hanger and it still retains the original wire hanger. It is in excellent condition, no chips. Please see our other listings for additional antique decorative plates.  This is an English antique victorian glazed earthenware jar or crock that was made in the 1860-1880s. The meat paste crock measures 1.5 inches high 3.65 inches in diameter and has the black transferware words Springfield Home Potted Meats, Horrocks & Watson, Southport. The potted meat jar or crock was sealed originally with a layer of congealed fat on the top as a protection for the meat paste and were the Victorian answer to take out fast food. The meat crock is in very good condition as these go with only 3 very small top rim chips, one very small base rim chip and an area of discoloration top and bottom which happens to these as they contained items with fat in them. A wonderful victorian kitchenalia survival, as well as a great historical illustration and remnant of the Victorian era and dining habits.

This gorgeous Dresden plate is one of the most beautiful we've ever had. It was made and decorated by Carl Thieme, c. 1920s for Ovingtons, New York. Not only is the plate ornately reiculated, but it has gold flowers throughout the retiuclation. The plate is 9". The center has a lovely hand-painted courting scene with a man playing the bagpips and a woman carrying a bsket of flowers. The inner border is gold with turquoise jewels and gold beads. Excellent condition.  This gorgeous Dresden plate is one of the most beautiful we've ever had. It was made and decorated by Carl Thieme, c. 1920s for Ovingtons, New York. It has a chip to one rest, and some paint wear the the unusual bars that brace the corners of the item  German lidded stein with scene of huntsman with his dog, and his buxom lady. Metal alloy lid. Part of an (I think) eight piece Christmas Nativity set, this is Lladro figurine is King Gaspar. He was modelled by Juan Huerta, and issued in 1970. He was retired in 2002. Model number 4674. Size 21 cm by 9 cm (8.1/4 inches by 3.1/2 inches). Excellent condition.  Small porcelain Royal Bayreuth jug, with scene of horsemen - Arab or Bedouin horsemen in a desert setting with palm tree. The handle of the little jug is a serpent with his mouth open to grasp the rim. His body forms a knot at the handle top, and his tail swishes down into the sand of the desert. Gilded flashes. Jug measures 83.5 mm high and about 75 mm wide handle to spout (3.1/4 inches by 3 inches). Blue mark. Early 20th century. Excellent condition, small wear to gilding.  This is an antique Victorian flat back spill vase or mantle vase made in Germany for the in the 1890s with a white and blue porcelain body with art nouveau molded leaves and a portrait of a young lady with a pert hat. The shabby chic late Victorian era spill vase measures 7 inches high by 6.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, but it was at one time heavily gilded but almost all of the gold is worn off and only vestiges remain. Spill vases were mart of mantle garniture and held tightly rolled pieces of paper used to light fires in the fireplace. The flat back feature was because they stood against the wall.  Made in Italy, Vintage, No nicks, chips, scratches,or damage to this handpainted watering pitcher.Very nice to have just sitting around,but it does hold water and you can use it for watering plants.Shipping is $5.45 Domestic USA Priority (3 days).

The light green piece with an embossed rim has 2 tabbed handles and measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. It is decorated with a bouquet of pink roses in full bloom in the center of the plate. The plate is free from chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs - but there are some scratches. The net weight is 19 ounces. We are told it is of German origin and dates from the 1950's.  Wedgwood Williamsburg Pocahontas Plate Jamestown VA This lovely Wedgwood, Commemorative Plate features a very decorative scene, showing Princess Pocahontas begging for the life of Captain John Smith, who had been sentened to death by King Powhatan. The design was inspired by the 1624 edition of Smith's Map of Virginia. The border shows the ships which brought the colonists to Jamestown in 1607, and other historic scenes, including Washington firing the first cannon at the siege of Yorktown. The colors are very soft and muted in shades of flesh, blue, peach, and green, over a grey or black transfer printed design. This impressive plate measures 10 1/2" across and is in excellent condition, with no damage or fading, just some minor crazing.There is a full historic description on the back, and marked with the Wedgwood, Etruria and Barleston mark, used by Josiah Wedgwood in Staffordshire, after 1940, this lovely and very decorative piece is dated 1953 - 1955. Also Williamsburg, the trademark of Williamsburg Restoration, Inc  Schafer & Vater, plaque from Germany. Its very similar to Wedgwood. Number embossed on the back- 2938. Angel and stork in blue, the plate is surrounded in a wreath of flowers. small blemish on the back.

The net weight is 8 ounces.  This pretty dish is a reproduction from a Chinese Export piece made in 1810. This This image of the US Capitol in the early 1800's was produced by Mottahedeh, Portugal for Garfinkels Washington DC. Measures 8.25 in. x 8.25 in. and is 2 in. tall. No damage. I believe it is probably from the 1980's. Display and use this one with pride.  This pottery Toby Mug is bottom stamped Czechoslovakia. I believe this is from the late 1930's-early '40's Pre ww2. Stands 5 in. tall and the base is 3 in. diameter. In very good, undamaged condition. Vivid colors.

The piece has 2 tabbed handles and measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. It is decorated with white roses in full bloom around the rim and one in the center of the plate. It is trimmed in gold and there is loss of gold paint on the rim. The plate is marked with a green crown and CUSM - Warranted 18K Gold. The plate is free from chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs. The net weight is 19 ounces.  GERMANY OR BAVARIA HAND PAINTED MORIAGE VASE. MARKED WITH IMPRESSED NUMBERS AND POSSIBLY A MAKERS MARK I CAN'T MAKE OUT. We specialize in Dresden items, and this is the first time we've ever had a pair of menu holders. What makes this set even more desirable is that they have wonderful hand painted portraits of lovely ladies. They are 2 1/2" wide (6.5 cm) and are mounted on easels or stands with a place to display a menu. They were decorated by the best Dresden decorator, A. Lamm, c. 1890s. The borders is cobalt blue with a gold designs with beads. The beautiful painted portaits of the Duchesses of Devonshire and Main fill the whole plate. Excellent condition.  A vintage ewer or jug that could also be used as a vase. Stands 10.5 in. tall and measures approx. 7 in. diameter at the widest pat. The base is 4 in. diameter and is marked 1507-27 Austria. The interior has a glossy green/blue finish. The exterior is a lovely matte finish with just a touch of lavender. I believe this was produced in the 1950's. Low slung handle. No chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Gorgeous item to use or display.  Vintage Dartmouth Pottery Mug Make Hay While The Sun Shines. Dartmouth Pottery was one of the youngest of the Torquay potteries, founded in 1948. This mug has an English cottage on one side and on the other has the motto Make Hay While The Sun Shines. It is 4 3/4 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches across the mouth. It in in lovely condition, no chips, has a glaze skip on the bottom. Marked with the Dartmouth Pottery mark on the bottom, a lovely addition to your collection.  A handled pottery vase that stands 9 in. tall. The vbase measures 3.5 in. Bottom marked Cyples England, Embusy? Ware-92? Registered No. 742907. Decorated with a boy and girl figure and a windmill. Color is still bright. 5.5 in. handle to handle. I find no damage. Hope I have the bottom markings correct as it is hard to read or image in the pictures. Online research tells me this vase was produced sometime in the 1920's-1930's era.

By placing a soft light behind this nicely framed seashell picture it makes a lovely nightlight. Through the dark blue plastic background which represents the sea the lighting is lovely. Assorted seashells have been cut into pieces creating a fabulous assortment of colorful flowers with a couple of birds, a seahorse and a tropical fish. The gold frame has slight wear from age but solid. Size: 6 1/4" X 7 1/2" Shipping wt - well packed - 1 lb. The exterior is a matte finish and decorated in dark pink, lavender colors on a neutral base. Bottom marked 90A309 Italy E & R. I believe the E & R stands for Eberling and Reuss. Vintage should be in the 1950's era. I find no chips, cracks, etc. Display, use and enjoy.  This type of vintage collectible dish was a popular 20thC kitchen decoration. This one reads - COFFEE MAKETH BIGHT THE SPIRIT. A wonderful gift for an avid coffee drinker. Condition: like new Sz: 8 in.dia. Backstamp: Made in Japan. Shipping cost within USA - $5.50  Late 19th century porcelain feeding cup with pretty floral decoration and gilded rims. Has stamp "Made in Germany" so 1891 plus, made for British market. Stoneware German stein mug, metal lid. Measures 23 cm high and the base is 9 cm diameter (9 inches by 3.1/2 inches). Metal lid has a piece broken off the thumb piece and there is some pitting to the metal. The stoneware is in excellent condition. The top band and the lower band are lustreware glaze, and there is a little scuffing to the lower one. Overall, very good. Very colourful. Underneath stamped "4" and has the remains of a printed mark.  This lovely bird vase is pre WW2. Stands 4.5 in. tall and the base measures 3 in. diameter. In good, displayable, usable condition. There is a hairline crack near the top of the vase. Please view images carefully. No other nicks, chips, etc. Bottom marked Czechoslovakia.  We are offering a vintage creamer. The piece is a Dutch milkmaid in flow blue - exquisite detail and color. The mark is illegible. The piece is free from chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs. The net weight is 10 inches.  An attractive porcelain vase that stands 4.25 in. tall. Marked on the scene Wiesbaden Neues Kurhaus. I beleive from the '60's era. Perhaps a souvenir piece. No damage.
