German Covered Casserole Dish—White porcelain with blue and gray floral design—handles trimmed in silver—1949+--made in Western Germany—very nice piece  We bought this wonderful figural box with a similar signed Kuznetsov apple box from the same estate. This one is unmarked, but we attribute it to Kuznetsov, c. 1890s. It is in two parts and is 5 1/2"l x 4"h.

The box is in the shape of a pear and is colored orange and pale yellow. An applied leaf is the handle. Excellent condition.  Finely potted and glazed signed Zsolnay, impressed marks on base as follows; round mark says, Made in Austro-Hungary, next mark, Zsolnay, next, Pece, next 4009, next 27 and red church steeples w/gold 50

A pretty set of Limoges coffee cans and saucers - there are a set of five, with one spare cup (which has a tiny shallow chip).

Fine porcelain, decorated with gilded ladies and gentlemen in period dress. Each cup has a different design. Gilded handles, plain saucers.

The mark is "Fabrique Royale Limoges".

Cans each measure 5cm high and 5cm diameter (2 inches by 2 inches). Saucers are 10cm diameter (4 inches).

Condition: Perfect (except the spare).  This blue onion design cannister is the largest one we have ever seen. The scale of this piece is hard to show in just a picture as it would hold 4 to 5 times the amount of normal large containers found in this pattern. It is marked Sugar so it was made for the English speaking market. It is signed Germany and many others call these Meissen, a misnomer. It is in fine condition with a few hairline type marks, none of which go through to the inside. No chips or repairs. I am sure it had a matching lid but I have never seen one that large. Many folks have wooden lids made. This must have been made for a really big kitchen or some commercial purpose.  C. Offered is a round Sevre style handpainted covered box. The scene on the lid as well as the interior floral sprays are handpainted. While the markings on the bottom would indicate the box to have been made in 1771 I believe these marks to be inaccurate. The interlaced Ls Sevre marks are one of the most forged marks in porcelain. There was a great desire in the 19th century to acquire so-called Sevre porcelain from the golden age of the company, hence many forgeries came into existence. While I believe the box to be a forgery it is never the less a very nicely executed piece. There is a signature on the bottom of the lid painting which looks like lev. I also believe that the box is not hard paste porcelain as the undecorated porcelain areas are creamy color rather than a very white color. The box has a diameter of approximately 5 inches and stands approximately 2 1/4 inches high. The box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a very slight scuff mark on the top sky area of the lid painting. There is also minor gilt wear. Shipping with insurance and handling will be $20.00 in the Continental USA.  Multiple flower decorated bone dish with gold trim. It measures 6.5 inches across. It is in excellent condition. It is unmarked. 07pdp417  Beautiful hand-painted Rosenthal plate with pink and white floral design. Gilt trimmed. 5-3/4 inches in diameter. Signed on back. Italy Napoleon Capodimonte Hibiscus Flower—Very delicate porcelain flower—measures 4 inches wide x 2 ½ inches tall—Has paper and marked on the bottom in blue ink and has a gold sticker; excellent shape  This is an antique porcelain sugar shaker, muffineer or sugar caster made in the 1890s by Victoria, Austria for the English souvenir market. The crested china sugar shaker measures 6.25 inches high by 2.5 in diameter and bears the crest for Exeter, England. The lid is silver plated and screws on. The muffineer is in very good +++ condition with only very minor wear to the crest.

Sugar shakers or muffineers were used by the victorians to shake crushed or powdered sugar on their muffins or crumpets at tea. Neat!  Antique German child's portrait teacup. Very small teacup w/saucer, smaller than a demitasse cup, see pic #4. Has a green 'C.T. Altwasser' backstamp. This cup features 3 gorgeous ladies and Napolean; the names are under each portrait and are very tiny. One of the ladies is Marie Louise; one is Hortense; and one is Madame ?, can't make it out. No chips or cracks. Saucer is 4.25 wide; cup is 2.5 wide x 1.75 tall. Yellow background, gold trim. Prior to 1918 the backstamp would have been blue; however, in 1918 Hutschenreuther took over this company but used the same mark and likely this is when the backstamp color changed from blue to green.
