This style of teapot along with the early Gladding McBean mark is one of the rarest pieces in this pattern. The Gladding McBean mark was used prior to the Franciscan Pottery mark. This pattern was produced in 1934 and was also called Swirl, the mark on this teapot was only used from 1934 to 1938. It is 6 inches tall and holds about three and a half cups. This teapot has seen a lot of use, the bottom of the teapot shows a lot of use and there are two chips on the spout, the lid is in excellent condition, no chips and no wear marks. Great piece if you need a replacement lid or want to display it our use it.
