A gorgeous antique English Ironstone washstand set made by Royal China International in the early 1900's. This highly detailed old ironstone pitcher and basin set are in remarkably good condition. No chips or cracks and only minor signs of use wear. Beautiful age crazing pattern in both pieces. Pitcher stands 10 1/2 inches tall and is 10 inches across at the widest point. Bowl is 15 inches in diameter and stands a little more than 4 inches high. This is a set in a condition that comes along far to seldom. Looking for a very large and quite exquisite pitcher and basin washstand set to grace your table or favorite antique stand, then don't miss out on this set. It is truly Gorgeous.   This attractive footed white ironstone tureen features whimsical details of clover around all of the handles. Produced by Cockson & Seddon of England, this tureen measures 11" long (13" handle to handle), 8 1/2" wide and stands 6 1/2" high to the top of the finial.

The lid has a couple of very small, shallow chips off of the glaze on the edge of the lid, otherwise, both top and bottom are free of any chips, cracks, hairlines or discolorations.  This attractive round footed tureen has simple classic lines with fancy handle details. The piece is imprinted with the patten name, Seine and was produced by John Edwards of England circa 1850. The tureen measures 9 1/2" wide(11 3/4" handle to handle) and stands 7" high to the top of the finial. Both the bottom and lid are in excellent condition, free of any chips, hairlines, stains or discolorations.  This attractive pattern is known as Chelsea Grape Lustre with vibrant purple clusters of grapes and leaves over laid with gold lustre. This early coffee pot was produced by Edward Walley of England circa 1845.

The coffee pot measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the finial, 5 1/4" wide and 8 3/4" long handle to spout. the pot is in excellent condtion, free of chips, cracks or hairlines. As can be seen in the photos, there are some chips on the lid which could be professionally repaired.

It has a beautiful Celtic leaf design on the side. The vase is in very good condition with some light crazing and a tiny pinpoint paint flek, but there are no chips or cracks. It would be a lovely addition on a table, cabinet or window ledge. Great decorator piece.

3 Pieces of a Washstand Vanity Set, White Porcelain China Decorated with Spongeware Pink Fuschia.

Backstamp on Pot is smudged, but appears to be a Crown Logo matching the Cup, I can read neither. The Soap Dish Logo has a Tiny Crown with Two Lions and a C or G inside an Oval.

Chamber Pot measures 5 1/4 inches high X 8 inches diameter at rim without lid. It has no chips or cracks, does have quite a bit of crazing, but no stains.

Shave Mug measures 3 1/2 inches tall. It has no chips, cracks, or crazing, but has a fine 3/4 inch hairline crack extending from rim, is clean with light soap residue.

Soap Dish measures 3 1/4 X 4 1/2 inches. It has overall crazing, some brown inside. Also has a ship on one raised ridge, as shown in photo.

Would be very pretty with a white Bowl and Pitcher.

This is a lovely white with gold trim wash set from the very early 1900's. The set includes a large wash basin that measures 16 inches in diameter by 4 1/2 inches tall. The large pitcher stands 12 inches tall and there is also a small 8 inch high water pitcher, 5 inch tall toothbrush holder and a shaving mug that is just shy of 4 inches high. These pieces all bear the same markings as used by Edwin M Knowles China Co. in the early 1900's. Some of the pieces have heavier crazing than the others and I believe this had to do with the way the sun's rays likely fell on certain pieces day after day, while missing others. There is an area of about 3 by 2 inches on the side of the large pitcher that has either been very professionally repaired, or shows the faint trace imperfection from the firing. I would never have seen it had I not been told about the mark by the previous owner. A rare find that will add it's own special elegance, beauty and charm its new home.  white with green flowers and gold trim 10 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide fits a bowl 8 1/2 inches long and 6 inches wide  Here we have a wonderful old White Ironstone water pitcher complete with Ice Damn. The piece is very old and has not only some gorgeous crazing in the glaze, but has aged to a light tan at some spots as you can see in the photos. The makers mark is rather highly detailed and reads, Warranted K,T, and K Granite. Their is an old chip in the ice damn and a few spider cracks that look like they have been their twice as long as I've been around. No leaks and the edges of the little chip in the Ice Damn have been worn smooth from decades of use. The pitcher measures 10 high by 10 at its widest point and is just begging to hold some flowers or berry stems for you.  What a lovely antique white stoneware bowl this is. The pattern is known simply as Hearts and the bowl is obviously hand turned, which can be seen in the fact it is not perfectly round or even. It is heavy though and very well made. Considering this large bowl; just under 11 inches in diameter, was made in the late 1800's , other than very nice crazing and a few old hairlines on the outside of the bottom, this bowl is just about as good as new. Use it for a bread dish, fill it with fruit or flowers or anything you want people to see, This lovely old white stoneware bowl will do the rest.

The great looking vintage Ironstone Tea or Coffee Pot features wonderful design accents which really add to the beauty of the pure white stoneware. The tea pot stands 9 1/2 inches high and 9 1/2 from handle's end to the tip of the spout. The maker's mark on the bottom is to worn to read, but the shape and style of the mark is that of Ceres Shape, Elsmore & Forster Tunstall and based on the characteristics of the pot itself, I believe this Coffee or Tea pot; as you prefer, dates all the way back to the Civil War era , if not before. The design is lovely. From its pear shaped body with melon ribs, and scalloped top edge, to the clearly detailed molded wheat pattern around neck, on the sides of the slightly crooked, handmade handle & on the spout, The Wheat pattern is even found in twisting form on the lid finial. An incredibly old piece from a very significant maker.  Beautiful White Ironstone soup tureen with liner, ladle and lid. It measures approximately 11 inches tall by 11 inches long. It is in very good condition to excellent with no chips, cracks or scratches. 2010pdp0001  This pretty Mexican bluebird vase has a sandstone exterior finish with a beautiful bluebird fire glazed in navy, brown, white and green glazes. This good looking old washstand set looks so nice together you'd never think the two pieces weren't made for each other, but the markings are not the same, so even though they match beautifully, and are both made by Haeger, they are a mismatched set.

Now that I have that part out of the way, let me say these pieces are done in a classic Victorian style that will enhance whatever piece you set them on to display them. There are some old finish cracks that are simply a fact of life with old pottery and in my thinking, adds to the beauty of the pieces. The basin has a more easily noticed hairline running from the one handle to about 3 inches down the inner side of the bowl. This is a tight, solid hairline and has probably been the same for decades. This old washstand set by Haeger will not brak your bank to buy, but will give a great deal more pleasure than most sets that are twice the price.  A gorgeous antique English Ironstone washstand set made by Johnson Bros. in the 1890's. This highly detailed old ironstone pitcher and basin set are in remarkably good condition. No chips or cracks and only minor signs of use wear, this is a set in a condition that comes along far to seldom. Looking for a very large and quite exquisite pitcher and basin washstand set to grace your table or favorite antique stand, then don't miss out on this set. It is truly Gorgeous.   Red Cliff ironstone waste bowl. c:1950-1980. Blue circular backstamp: Red-Cliff Ironstone with #3 in middle of circle. This large bowl is 9.5 wide x 6.25 tall. No chips or cracks. It is a very attractive bowl. Red-Cliff purchased white ironstone from Hall China and was primarily a distributing and decorating company. This might be a hard to find item; I see a ton of the soup tureens, but no waste bowls by this company. 9/09#est  white with a pickish/purple or mauve with a mother of pearl glaze only on the pink 4 inches tall and 4 1/8 inches wide from spout to handle. there is a design on the bottom of the creamer this is a very pretty creamer

The 10.25 inch in diameter embossed ironstone plate was made by Deland Studios, USA in the 1970s, close to the ship's centennial. The plate is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and only 1 scratch on the design. A great commemorative piece.  Victorian Ware Ironstone Handled Urn. Buildings, trees, people and horses. Condition is very good. Measurements 3 3/8 tall x 8 inches on longest oval part.  This antique ironstone pie vent, pie bird or pie funnel was made in the 1930-1940s and is marked by the maker Nutbrown. The Nutbrown company has been making pie vents and other traditional British kitchenware in England for 50 years or more. The pie vent was made in Staffordshire England and I got it in the Potteries district recently. The pie vent is in very good ++ condition with no chips or cracks and minor crazing. A fun piece. And practical! Pie birds were developed in the 1500s to release steam from a baking pie so the filling didn't boil over.

This is a gorgeous set of (4) high gloss black with fired on gold square dishes. They are signed with what looks like RIALLL (or BIALLL). They measure 1-1/4 inches tall and 4-1/4 inches wide. They are in excellent condition except for slight rubs on a few corners...nothing serious. I'm not sure what the intended use for these is. I really doubt that they are ashtrays, but I could be wrong. They are heavy ceramic. The black and gold sort of reminds me of a leopord pattern and might go well with an animal print decor. They have an exotic look about them. One money takes all.
