It is in good condition with no repairs or chips, except a faint glaze crack at the back that did not go through and minor rubbing of gold (as seen in the photos). It is very delicately painted with gilded gold and also pink and blue flowers with green leaves. Some of the gold is worn off around the outer edges of the bowl. The rest of the gold seems to be in pretty good shape. There are no chips, cracks in this beautiful bowl that measures 6-1/2" x 6-1/8" x 1-1/2" high.  This listing is for FOUR very thin BONE CHINA NUT DISHES (not FIVE as shown in the photograph). Each NUT DISH features a PRIMARY WHITE BACKGROUND and are marked HAND PAINTED. On the inside there are PINK and RED ROSES with GREEN LEAVES. The ROSES are separated or sectioned with a painted BLACK LINE edged in GOLD PAINT and the ROSE in the center ROSE is encircled. The RIM is trimmed in GOLD. They stands on 3 CURVED LEGS with each leg accented with GOLD PAINT. The NIPPON MAPLE LEAF / HAND PAINTED STAMP MARK is in BLUE on the bottom. The CONDITION of the NUT DISHES ESTATE / USED. These dishes are old and very thin. There are a couple of painted areas where the paint is worn and two of dishes have a small chip on the inside of the bowl on a painted area. Beautiful antique NIPPON tall chocolate pot with such pretty yellow ROSES and pink,blue,lavender flowers. The chocolate pot has a definite Art Deco style to it and is a two tone color design, the upper chintz hand painted roses and flowers being on a white while the lower is an elegant cream color. It is lavishly decorated with gold. It stands 9 inches high, in excellent condition-no chips or cracks or repairs, very light gold loss on handle as is expected for this age. Displays beautifully! The bottom has the blue rising sun mark, and Hand Painted Nippon, and this mark was used from 1911-1921. Similar painted scenes shown on pg's., 236 & 239 of the Nippon book by J. Patten.  Nippon Woodland Pitcher, Large pitcher 5" tall, 6 3/4" tip of spout to tip of handle. Excellent condition with only 3-4 small black dots missing on handle.  Very pretty hand painted china antique Nippon china dinner plate, realistically painted in pale colors with gold trim, with scene of flowers, trees and water (and suggestion of two small sailboats). Measures 10 inches in diameter and sits about 1 inch in height. Fully marked on backside with antique green insignia, Hand Painted Nippon with M in a wreath (see image). This is an original Nippon piece made between 1890 and 1921, although we do not know exactly when during that period it was made. Please note that the colors are brighter and more vivid than how they appear in the images (with the yellow more of a lemon color, and the pinkish orange of the flowers more salmon) - the lighting from the camera dulled their look. For shipment purposes, this plate weighs over one pound unpacked. While otherwise in excellent condition, we must point out that there are 2 tiny chips on the topside of this vintage plate in the gold trim at the plate's lower rim. One measures about 1/8 inch wide, with the other slightly larger at 3/16 inch in width. Both of these are shown in the images below. From their size and location, we believe these may have been caused by hanging with a metal plate hanger that wasn't padded on the ends. As such, these also may be largely covered up if the plate were to be hung again. They also might not be noticeable if slightly touched up with gold paint, but we are selling the piece as is, as found. The only other thing we note is a little bit of unevenness in the paint in the center area which may have been caused in the manufacture if it was not fully painted well, or may be a touch of wear, but this doesn't detract from the attractiveness of the plate. There are some stray gold paint marks on the backside of the plate, and the expected bit of wear on the underside rim on which the piece sits. An eye-catching piece which would look lovely as part of a Nippon china or hand painted china collection or a decorative wall hanging.

Lovely Hand Painted Nippon China Plate, $14.50
Beautiful hand painted china antique Nippon china vase with double handles. This piece is fully marked on the underside base with the green Hand Painted Nippon mark with an "M" in a wreath. This is an original Nippon piece made between 1890 and 1921, although we do not know exactly when during that period it was made. This vintage vase is decorated with 4 scenic panels of trees, plants & water, raised gold "dot" lines and other gold trim, painted and raised gold flowers, and light blue highlighting as the "predominate" color. The two handles adorn the flat topside of vase. Measures about 5 1/2 inches in height, rounded square body has width of 3 1/4 inches, greatest width handle to handle of 4 1/8 inches, top opening oval width of 1 1/2 inches. In the images, the white hot spots are lighting reflection from the camera. The camera lighting also changes the light blue color a bit, it is actually more of a sky blue color. Wonderful overall condition for its age, no chips, cracks, or crazing, but it's not mint. We need to note that there is gold wear, particularly evident on the top and sides of the handles, and gold line wear elsewhere. There is also some outer surface wear/rubbed areas, but these are not immediately visible, and are only seen when looked at closely at an angle in bright light. And there are a few spots or stains on the inside of the piece, and some expected wear to the underside base on which the piece sits. A very attractive piece which has survived well. Terrific as part of a Nippon china, Japanese china, Japan china or hand painted china collection, or for display use as an accent piece.  This is a set of 4 plates measuring 6 1/4 in. diameter. Handpainted and in good condition. Back marked Jon Roth Studios Nippon.One has a flaw under the glaze. Pictured separately. They have a matte finish as opposed to a glossy finish. Beautiful soft colors. The edges appear a bit worn, commensurate with the age of these plates and a very tiny nick on one and a rough spot on the edge of one.These will display well. Priced for the set of 4.  This is a great little Nippon Noritake creamer. It is gilded around the rim and the handle and has ornate gold designs on both sides. There is also a light blue band around the entire circumference, which contains little blue flowers, green vines and leaves. The mark on the bottom is light blue Noritake over the word Nippon, which dates this piece from 1890 to 1921. This little creamer is 2 5/8 inches to the top of the spout and has approximately the same diameter. This creamer has a little wear to the gold particularly on the top of the handle but no chips or cracks.  GORGEOUS NIPPON HAND PAINTED 10" PLATE WITH WIDE FIRED GOLD BAND, GOLD BEADS, GREEN ENAMEL LEADING TO A BAND OF PINK ROSES, GREEN LEAVES AND GOLD TRIM. THE CENTER IS ADORNED WITH AN IMPASTO DESIGN WITH GOLD BEADS. NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS, NO HAIRLINES. BUYER TO PAY SHIPPING AND INSURANCE.

SCENIC NIPPON PLATE $49.95
This fabulous powder box is 3.5 in. in diam. and 2 in. tall. It's bottom marked with the M in a wreath in blue. I believe the M stands for the Morimura Bros. who were importers in the very early 1900's. In excellent condition, I am also listing the matching hair receiver.Check it out.  White with gold trim around the handle, base, and the top edge-very minimal wear to the gold trim. A flower design with gold band around the flowers and around the top edge about 1/2" down from the top. The blue Rising Sun mark is stamped on the bottom. This mark was used after 1911.
