What's New in the Collector's Showcase of Porcelain and Pottery: Red Wing?
The Most Recent Additions to This Category are First!
Red Wing Large Speckled Bowl, beige with tan specks, old oval style.Very good, like new condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.Marked USA Red Wing on back.Heavy Bowl.  This is a cute, vintage salt and pepper set made by Red Wing Pottery. This brown and aqua glazed set is in the Village Green shape that was introduced in 1953. Sales of Village Green continued into 1963. Village Green was a heavy utilitarian dinnerware. A complete set of this line can be put together with some searching; the dinnerware did not break easily probably because of their heavy construction. Often confused with the earlier Provincial Oomph because both lines were heavy and glazed in brown and aqua; Village Green can be recognized by the ribbed finish.

The shakers measure 3 1/2" high, 2 5/8" diameter body and 3 3/4" across with handle.

This salt and pepper set is not marked. Most of the salt and pepper shakers made by Red Wing were not marked. Please see photos.

This salt and pepper set is in very good to excellent used condition for its likely age, though it could use light dusting and cleaning. The shaker set has fine surface scratches consistent with its age, normal use and storage. One shaker has a glazed over clay remain shown in the third (3rd) photograph. There is no damage; no chips, cracks or repairs. Colors may vary due to differences in computer monitors. Spots are reflections from photography flash and lighting.

A white console bowl made by Rumrill. It is marked Rumrill E12 on the bottom. It is in good condition, but it does have some staining on the interior of the bowl. It sits approx. 3" high and is 6.75" across.  A vintage teapot made by Red Wing. It is marked Red Wing USA 267 on the bottom. It is missing the lid, and does have a very small hairline crack on the rim (pictured). The teapot is approx. 6.75" tall and 9.25" across from handle to spout.

A vintage rectangular planter made by Red Wing. It is blue on the outside, and a light yellow on the inside. It is in good condition, but it does have some crazing on the interior. It is marked Red Wing USA 1265 on the bottom. It is approx. 3.75" tall, 10" long, and 5" wide.  A nice rectangular planter that is pink on the outside and ivory on the inside, made by Red Wing. It is in good condition, but it does have some crazing and the inside has some staining. It is marked Red Wing USA 1265 on the bottom. It is approx. 3.75" tall, 10" long, and 5" wide.  An excellent large flower pot that is pink with speckles made by Red Wing. It sits in a copper stand. It is marked Red Wing USA 490-10 (not certain the number is right). It is in good condition, but the flower pot does have some rust stains from sitting in the stand (they aren't visible when it's in the stand). The copper stand has some tarnish, but you could easily shine it up if you wanted. On its own the flower pot is approx. 9.75" tall and 10.5" across. In the stand the flower pot sits about 12" tall.  This is an attractive, large curving Eames Era or Mid-Century style low bowl. It is eye-catching by itself, but would look wonderful with a floral arrangement, fruit or decoration. The off white glaze is not shiny or glossy. I do not know the actual age of this listing.

This oval bowl measures about 6 7/8" x 15 3/8" and nearly 1 3/4" high at side.

The bottom is mold marked Red Wing / USA / 641. Please see photos.

This bowl is in very good used condition for its likely age, though it could use light cleaning. There is a flea-bite on one edge, glazed over manufacturing flaws and an unknown dark line (all in photos) but there is no other damage, crazing, cracks or repairs. Spots are reflections from photography flash and lighting.
