This is an offering for a gorgeous Rookwood Pottery ashtray measuring 5" by 5".  The body is purple with the center having four butterflies.  Die marked with the RP sunburst, 1923, and 1669 shape number marks.  There is also an 'x' on the dry foot.  There is a small nick on two of the corners of the top as seen in the 1st two pictures.  Shipping for this fine addition to your collection is $8.95.  This Shoulder Vase displays a horizontal band of Daises and leaves growing. This Pattern circles the entire Shoulder of the Vase and is a little faded from all the years of being handled. 


Excellent condition, as there are no cracks, nicks, chips, or dings. See photos for more on condition ...........5 1/4 inches tall, 3 3/4 inches across at widest point. 


The Vase is signed with Rookwood's conjoined RP Impressed Sunburst Flame Logo along with the Roman Numerals XXIV for the year of manufacture, 1924. There is also the mold number 2591 impressed below the date.

 Unusual Rookwood Pottery Tray Advertising The Cincinnati Butchers Supply Company in Cincinnati Ohio. On the face of the tray is a Cow and the bottom has Cow and the word Boss and the name Chas. G. Schmidt along with The Cincinnati Butchers Supply Co.It was made in 1948 and is 5.75 inches in diameter.

This is a great Arts and Craft Rookwood piperest or pintray in a carmelized honey brown glaze. It appears like a pond with a wonderful frog climbing over the side. It measures 1.5 inches high and 6.5 inches across and is marked with year date 1953.  This item is an elegant two tone brown Vase made by Rookwood Pottery around 1900.  This Vase has a bulbous bottom with a wonderful tapered stem leading to the top.  The different shades of brown are gently feathered into each other.  The lip at the top is a dark brown which becomes yellow as it gets deeper inside the Vase.  It is about 8 and 1/4 inches high, 5 inches across at the bottom and 3 and 1/4 inches across at the top.  The underside has the Rookwood mark.  This Vase is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or crazing.  Collector quality Rookwood vase. c: 1928. Enlarge the backstamp shown in picture. ROOKWOOD Vase 1926 $275.00

This item is a beautiful vintage Rookwood Pottery Vase.  It was made in 1943.  This Vase is a teakl blue and decorated with lovely large and small clovers.  The underside has the incised Rookwood mark; the Roman Numerals XLIII, which denotes 1943 as the year it was made; and mold number 6352.  This Vase is about 3 and 1/2 inches high; 4 and 1/2 inches across at the center;p and 2 and 1/8 inches across the opening at the top.  The Vase is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or crazing.  This item is a beautiful Rookwood Pottery Vase made in 1944.  It is a lovely green color with a floral leaf design all around the top of the Vase.  It is about 4 inches high and 5 inches across.  The opening at the top is about 2 and 1/4 inches across.  The underside of the Vase has the Rookwood maqrk with the Roman Numerals of XLIV and mold number 6545. This item is a rare piece of Rookwood Pottery.  It is a hand painted plate made around 1886.  The Plate is about 8 inches in diameter and has a pie crust type edge. This Vase was made in 1928 and is a raspberry colored with a mottled green with raspberry towards the top.  It has typical ARts and Crafts designs all around the Vase.  The Vase is about 9 mand 1/2 inches high; 2 and 1/2 inches across at the top and bottom; and 4 and 1/2 inches across at its widest part. This item is an outstanding piece of Rookwood Pottery.  It is a Cigar or Tobacco Humidor made by the Rookwood Pottery Company in 1921.  The stylish Art Deco design of this piece is accented by its lovely raspberry color.  The Humidor has an overall height of 5 and 3/4 inches and is 4 and 1/4 inches across at the top.  The underside of the body has four small molded feet.  The bottom has the incised Rookwood mark, along with the Roman numerals XXI and the mold number 1898.  Both pieces to this Humidor are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.   THIS IS AN OFFERING FOR A FLAWLESS ROOKWOOD POTTERY BULBOUS VASE IN THE LOVELY IVORY WAX MATT GLAZE MEASURING 3-3/4" HIGH AND IS 4-3/4" WIDE AT MID-BODY.  DIE MARKED WITH THE ROOKWOOD SUNBURST MARK.  DATED 1938 AND HAS THE SHAPE #6545.  THE GLAZE COLOR IS BEST SEEN IN THE PICTURE OF THE BASE. The box has a burgandy pinkish exterior with a very dark greenish almost black interior.  The lid has a very very small flake on the inside lip (see photo). For sale is a nice arts & crafts Rookwood tri-cornered tankard dated 1903.  Made in the Z line.  The tankard has a great dripped matte finish glaze.  The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  There is on one of the tri-corner lips what initially looks to be a slight hairline but is not(see photo), it is under the glaze and is not damage.  I have only noted it for accuracy.  The tankard stands approximately 5 3/4 inches tall and the width on the top rim from 1 corner to the middle of the back section is approximately 5 inches.  The width of the top from the corner to the end of the handle is approximately 7 inches.  The tankard is marked on the bottom see photo.  Shipping with insurance will be $18.00 in the Continental USA.  Offered is a Rookwood commercial vase dated 1928.  The vase has the original Rookwood logo.  It is marked for 1928.  It also has the pattern number 6029.  The vase is approximately 6 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches at the widest point.  The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  There is some minor peppering over the relief portion of the vase.  Shipping with insurance and handling is $18.00 in the Continental USA.  Offered is a Rookwood commercial 1934 vase.  The vase carries the Rookwood logo.  It is marked for 1934.  The patter of the vase is marked 6254.  The vase is approximately 4 3/4 inches tall by 4 inches at the widest point.  The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  Shipping with insurance and handling is $10.00 in the Continental USA.  A pair of 1944 Rookwood bookends in the shape of a Rook sitting on a berry bush. They are gloss ivory in color, and quite heavy. They are marked on the bottom with the Rookwood emblem and XLIV. They also have the number 2275 stamped on them. On the back is the McDonald mark, although it is very faint. They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. They do have general overall crazing, not uncommon on the glossy examples of Rookwood and a slight discoloration on the back. See pictures for better description. They measure 5 ½" across by 3 ¼" deep by 5 ½" tall.
