Very nice Miles Mason Georgian period creamer - shaped edges and little scrolled feet. Blue decoration on white porcelain body. Circa 1815 - has the maker's mark underneath. Measures 10.25 cm high to top of handle, and 15.25 cm wide handle to spout (4.1/8 inches by 6 inches). Excellent condition.  This is a lovely antique victorian tea cup trio consisting of a cup, saucer and plate made in Staffordshire England from 1880s. The pattern features pale peach bands on white fine porcelain overlaid with a hand applied heavy gold heart border and blue enamel accents with more gold trim. The cup is 2.75 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 in diameter and the plate is 7 in diameter. The set is in very good +++ condition with no chips, cracks and only very minor gold wear. A really lovely addition to the tea table.  This is an ironstone sucrier or sugar jar in the gold Clover Leaf pattern made by Bridgwood and Sons, England in the 1860s or mid Victorian era. The pattern is classed with Tea Leaf ironstone although it is actually called Gold Clover. The sucrier measures 7 inches high by 7 inches long by 6 inches in diameter and is in near perfect condition which is so unusual for over 100 years old. The sucrier or handled jar has no chips or cracks and no other problems except some wear to the gold and the fact that the lid is missing. It came with a lid but it was obviously not the original and didn't fit well, so I am not listing it. So cool! The sucrier or sugar jar is a perfect vase...or to add a bit of Victorian charm to your tea table or any other room needing a Victorian accent.  This is a Staffordshire pottery dog, pot dog or mantle dog from Staffordshire, England that stands 7 inches high. Staffordshire dogs usually come in pairs, but this dog has lost it's mate. The dog has rust marks on white with a gold collar and chain. The dog is unmarked but has an incised number and is of fairly recent make from the 1960s but is in excellent condition and very decorative.

Saucer in marked, cup is not. Cup is 2" high.  This is a porcelain cup made as a souvenir of the Crystal Palace Great Exhibition of 1851 in London, England. The porcelain cup measures 2.75 inches high by 2.75 inches in diameter and features a black and white depiction of the Crystal Conservatory, flags and gold overlay leaves and trim. The exhibition was opened by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and showcased the new wonders of the industrial age and the glories of the empire. The cup probably originally had a saucer as well, but...The cup has an old hairline. If I were from 1851 I'd hope that was all I had! The pattern has almost no wear except a bit of gold wear on the cup rim. A wonderful and historical survivor.

This is a neat dinner plate extolling farmers from Burgess and Leigh, Ltd, Staffordshire England 1919-1926 who became Burleigh. The plate is made of ironstone with a black transferware pattern called The Farmer's Arms with hand painted enamel over painting and the design is a coat of arms for farmers with a descriptive poem on the back and gold trim. Neat! The plate measures 10.5 inches in diameter and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a bit of crazing commensurate with age.  This is a beautiful Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of flowers in a white bowl. It is rare to find older pieces in such excellent condition! This Staffordshire Posy bowl was made in the 1950s by Golden Crown China of Staffordshire, England and imported by Ebeling & Reuss Company, PA, USA. The ornament or paperweight features a pink tipped carnation-type flower, a pale yellow rose and a blue flower with green leaves. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. Unfortunately the English potteries have all closed. Beautiful! This posy in in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.  This fabulous pitcher is probably classed as victorian imari or gaudy Welsh although not Welsh but made Samuel Johnson Britannia Pottery, Staffordshire England so it's gaudy English. The imari jug is 7 inches high with a hammered copper lid and was made by 1890-1900. The earthenware pitcher or jug has cobalt blue medallions and trim and a sampler of intricate gold patterns above the half reeded bottom of the jug and gold trim. The pitcher or jug has a hammered copper lid that fits into a slot/hole either side of the top with pins. The jug is in very good +++ condition except for a cobalt glaze run underglaze done at the time of manufacture and some gold loss from use. Imari was popularized by the victorian craze for all things Japanese at the time.  This antique Wedgwood blue transferware plate is titled Friar Tuck Entertains the Black Knight. The scene shows the Friar standing and talking to the Black Knight, while the knight eats from a bowl. Standing next to the table are two dogs. The design around the edge has portraits of Coeur de Lion, Rebecca, Isaac of York, Lady Rowenna, and others along with running hares, pheasants, chickens, grouse, fish and flowers. A masterful design! Measures 10" in diameter. Circa 1890. This is in excellent condition. (There was also a lovely set of transferware tiles created with these Ivanhoe scenes.) (#T-1201)

The creamware match striker match holder combo measures 3.5 inches high by 5 inches in diameter and has the remnants of gold trim, most of which is worn off. The match striker match holder is in excellent condition. There are 2 under glaze manufacturing firing cracks on the base which is very normal for this age and material and are not really considered flaws.  This is a lovely antique hand painted over brown transfer or transferware imari teacup trio consisting of cup, saucer and plate made by Doric China, Staffordshire, England in 1926-1935. Imari became popular with the influence of japanese ceramics at that time. This is a very pretty vintage bone china pin or brooch that I brought home from Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, England recently. The hand made pin features 3 flowers that look like anemones or primroses with leaves. The brooch is unmarked. The hand made pin is in fabulous condition which is rare for this bone china jewelry. Pins of this quality were very popular in the 1950s when this was made. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these flowers by hand from a lump of clay. The potteries have all either closed or moved production to the far east so these are no longer being made.  This is an antique pale green embossed salt glazed stoneware pitcher or jug with an art nouveau pewter lid from Staffordshire, England. The fabulous antique English molded relief salt glaze jug stands 8 inches high. The embossed flowers on it are superb. They look like daisies and there is an embossed basket weave base to the design. The metal lid looks like an art nouveau water lily leaf and has a lovely molded thumb finial. There is a bit of wear on the hinge but it still works. The lid has been professionally repaired at some time. The green salt glaze jug dates from 1860-1880 and is from the Staffordshire potteries in England and although unmarked looks like some of the Brownfield jugs I have had. The jug or pitcher is in very good ++ condition with no chips or cracks and is a wonderful piece of mid victorian ceramic art.  This is a pretty vintage hand made pin or brooch made in Staffordshire, England 1930-1940s. The all hand made bone china pin features a pink and purple pansy, blue forget-me-nots with leaves and has a roll catch closure. The brooch is unmarked and measures 5 inches high by 2 inches long by 1.25 inches wide. The Staffordshire posy pin or brooch is in fabulous condition which is rare for this bone china jewelry. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these flowers by hand from a lump of clay. All the potteries have either closed or moved production to Indonesia now and these little works of art are no longer being made. Truly a lost art.  This is an all hand made vintage English bone china pin or brooch made by Healacraft, Staffordshire, England in the 1930-1940s. The hand made pin features three white flowers with yellow centers and small red accent flowers on green leaves in a star shape. The pretty pin or brooch measures 1.75 inches in any direction and has a roll catch closure. The Staffordshire Posy pin or brooch is in excellent condition which is rare for this bone china jewelry. We watched craftsmen several years ago making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these flowers by hand from a lump of clay. All of the potteries have been closed or production moved to Indonesia and they are not being made. It is a dead or dying craft. Fabulous wearable work of art!

This is an antique sucrier, sugar box or sugar bowl made 1880-1890 by an unknown Staffordshire England maker. There is an under glaze impressed mark but other than being able to decifer a globe shap, the banner Quality below and a banner across with ...T & Co I am unable to identify the maker. The sucrier measures 5.5 inches high by 8 inches long by 5.5 square and comes from the victorian era when sugar was in large chunks, not the cubes or granulated form we are familiar with. The design is of brown transferware dog roses with hand colored pink and greenish accents and gold trim.
