Nice large stoneware bowl. These are shown in the UHL book; they were decorated by the Ransburg company. The flower pattern matches many of the hand decorated cookie jars, etc. This bowl has no chips or cracks. It is 4.5 tall x 11 wide. Has one piece of clay waste near side exterior, see pic #4. Not marked, but most UHL that I come across is not marked. Makes a great vintage centerpiece fruit bowl! 5/12gestcs  Ceramic Mug, Peanuts. This mug is 3 5/8" tall and 3" in diameter. It comes new in the box. Peanuts is featured with Snoopy and his other friends all around the outside of the mug. The mug comes new in the box.  Nice vintage cookie jar with the Ransburg paint pallot incised logo on bottom. These were actually made by UHL Pottery Co., then hand decorated at the Ransburg Co. It has the glazed white interior. This one is in very nice condition; just a couple of minor flaws but the cold paint is still intact and good. It has a small surface chip off underside of lid which can't be seen when lid is on. It has one old gouge along bottom rim, (common on old pottery, but it is painted and just came from the company that way); it has some tiny specks of smudge here and there, but no cracks. A great cookie jar to display. Happy, colorful colors! It stands 10 inches tall x 6 wide at top. These are usually not found in this good of display condition. 2/12gestcs  Vintage UHL Pottery cookie jar. Featuring cold painted daisies. Displays great; barely any cold paint missing from body. Upper rim has some old gouges/fleabites and some missing paint but that is common on this pottery.No other chips or cracks. These old cookie jars are really just for display now days. It is 9 inches tall up to lid finial. Made by UHL and decorated by the Ransburg company, (see UHL book for more info). 1/12smc

Three cool antique stoneware vessels. Miniature size. The smallest has cobalt blue acorn symbol and reads: 'Old Continental Whiskey'; no chips or cracks; bottom rim is somewhat irregular. It is 3.75 tall; some crazing and old cork stopper. The acorn symbol was used by the UHL Pottery Co. The next one has one handle and is 4.5 tall, no chips/cracks. The last one has the original stoneware lid and is 5.25 tall and very old dark worn bottom. I cannot get the lid off this item. These miniature vessels are great if you don't have a lot of space; you can display them on old children's cupboards, or other types of racks. varisx3  This is a hard to find globe pitcher actually made by the UHL Pottery Co. and then hand decorated by the Ransburg Co. It is marked: 'Ransburg' on bottom; see the UHL book for more info. Very colorful old pottery. No chips or cracks; just some bits of missing cold paint, primiarily around top rim and spout areas which is common on this cold painted pottery. This pitcher is 5.25 tall and matches some of the UHL/Ransburg cookie jars I have for sale. The cookie jars are much more common than the sugar bowls, creamers and pitchers. 11/10smc  Uhl Ransburg Asters in Red Mixing Bowl with White Interior. Made by the Uhl Pottery Company and decorated Harper J Ransburg Pottery company this piece was made in the 1930's and has the hard to find white interior. The company was founded in 1908 and operated from 1908 to 1912 in Toledo, Ohio, in 1912 they moved operations to Indianapolis, Indiana. It has the hand painted Asters in Red pattern, considered to be from Era I. This pattern was made from 1936 to the 1950's on cookie jars, grease jars, pitchers, salt and pepper shakers, salad bowls, mixing bowls, teapots and flower pots, all made of earthware. It is 11 inches across and about 4 inches deep, bottom is fully marked. It is in very nice condition, no chips, white interior is in excellent condition, there are some random spots that have spots of paint missing, common in pieces of this age, overall really in lovely condition. Bottom is fully marked as described above and shown in the pictures. It would be a wonderful addition to your collection or a terrific accent for your kitchen!  Cute vintage UHL cookie jar. Made by the UHL Pottery Co. then decorated at the Ransberg factory. This one has some aging flaws mainly on the lid rim edges, (some small chips and paint loss). The flaws are not even noticeable if it is just sitting on a display shelf which is what you'd do with it anyway. It stands 8.75 tall. These came in a variety of colors and flower patterns. Very reminiscent of old Mexican pottery, vibrant, happy colors! 10/10smc

Vintage c.1950s stoneware mug or tankard, 4 1/2 in. high, marked Uhl Pottery Co., 16, Huntingburg, Ind.. Bottom has factory defect of popped glaze bubbles. Brown mustard yellow. No chips, cracks or crazing, no stains. Top edge looks like there is a small chip but it is an underglaze factory defect. Great for completing a set or that morning coffee!  Vintage c.1950s stoneware large mug or tankard, marked Uhl Pottery Co., 16, Huntingburg, Ind.. Brown mustard yellow. No chips, cracks or crazing. Great for adding to a set or for that morning coffee!  Very nice POTTERY BOWL made by the U H L POTTERY COMPANY of INDIANA. It features the impressed REVERSE PICKET FENCE DESIGN PATTERN. The color of the glaze is BROWN. It is marked U.S.A. on the bottom. The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The glaze is shiny and the color is dark. It show signs of normal wear for it's age, some areas where the glaze has come off and a few chips.  Vintage UHL Pottery cookie jar and linen towel. According to the UHL book, these jars were made by UHL then hand decorated by the Ransburg Co. This jar has the white gloss glaze on interior, and is in good overall vintage condition. Cold paint is intact, no cracks; a few itty bitty fleabites on lid rim edge, (dab with matching paint if you desire perfection, and some cold paint missing on top of jar rim where lid fits into jar, not visible when lid is in place). It stands about 9 inches tall. A very nice cookie jar for your collection! The vintage linen kitchen towel has blue coffeepot, trivets, coffeegrinders with original foil sticker: 'Parisian Prints, All Pure Linen', RN 14788 come with it. estcs1/07
