A very small hook, attached to a handle. From the size I don’t know what was it’s intended use, perhaps to move ice blocks, as it is too small for a hay hook, or a meat hook. SIZE: handle measures 5 ½ inches in length, metal part 6 inches in length with a hook curve of about 1 ¼ inch. It seems to come thru the tip of the handle and curves over the top, to attach to the wood handle. The wood appears to have split on each side about where the hanger was hung on the back.  Sporting Platinum blonde hair, albeit horse, this antique 19th century theatrical drama mask is quite rare. From late Victorian Mid West an actor would really make some statement. Used by fraternal organization, I.O.O.F. Independent Order Of Odd Fellows in tragedies, dramas and plays, it looks like a cross between Macbeth and Thor the Viking. Secure and well made this mask is hand painted on ultra fine mesh wire and still usable today. Perfect for that Screen Actors Guild costume party.
