Superb silver plated steamship platter from renowned Royal Steam Packet Company. Founded in 1839, the company eventually owned the White Star Line, whose most famous ship was the RMS Titanic. Size is 9 1/2" x 12" Condition is excellent. No dings or dents, just modest wear from use on the ship. Will polish up beautifully.  Elegant pair of Mid Century Danish Modern 18/8 Stainless Steel footed candleholder circa 1950s. They about .75 inches tall and they are 3.00 inches from point to point and in good condition with only a couple of light scratches. The holder for the candle is approximately a half inch in diameter and the bottom is embossed Denmark Stainless Steel 18/8.  Early 1900's Silver Salt and Pepper Shakers, They are mark on the bottom with shamrok and 3 stars,It is probably old Irish Silver plate, Sorry i reserched and could not find anything on this mark, Each measures about 4 inches high.  This is a vintage bottle stopper or top signed GERMANY. It appears to be sterling silver but I cannot find a mark. The top has a hunter wearing a cap and smoking a pipe. He has a rifle on one shoulder and is holding the dog's leash in the other. The dog looks like a setter or spaniel and appears to be pointing. The stopper measures 2-5/8 inches tall. It weighs 36.5 grams. The stopper is in good condition but does have a heavy age patina and may need cleaning or polishing. I offer a 7-day money back guarantee. (#256) Keywords: flatware silverware  3 piece set of niello decorated traveling personal utensils consisting of; 1. spoon with image of Adam speaking to God and reverse shows animals in Garden of Eden. 2. fork is 2 tined and shows Adam meeting Eve and reverse shows Adam & Eve with snnake in tree. 5 1/4inch lg 3. knife is steel bladed with one side of handle showing God chasing Adam & Eve and reverse shows Adam gardening next to a house. 5 3/4inch lg all 3 have tiny Dutch hallmark indicating silver content and fork & spoon have date letter for 1850. Niello; Black metallic alloy of sulfur with silver, copper, or lead, used to fill designs that have been engraved on the surface of a metal object, usually of silver. The black sulfides are powdered, and after the engraved silver has been moistened, the powder is spread on it. When the metal is heated, the niello melts and runs into the engraved channels. After the excess niello is scraped away, the surface is polished. The contrast of the black niello against the bright surface produces an attractive decorative effect. During the height of its popularity in the Renaissance, the technique was widely used for embellishing liturgical as well as utilitarian objects. Nielli (objects decorated with niello) were produced in ancient Rome and 9th-century England. In Russia niello work is known as Tula work. Traveling Flatware is a fine article in Magazine Antiques , April, 2006 by Sarah Coffin. It is hallmarked for Chester, England and dates to 1905. It has a maker's mark of J ? ? G. There is a winged cherub on both sides of the handle. The shoehorn measures 6-3/4 inches long. The handle is sterling silver but the horn portion may be made of another type of metal. The shoehorn is in good condition but does have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing. This is a set for 6 of Wallace stirling America pattern 1915 in wood case, it comes with 6 knifes,6 forks, 5 salad forks, 6 spoons, 7 butter knifes and a ladel and is in nice condition for its age but is monogram'd M . Available for viewing in our Edmonds, WA location. (SN 2011)  These are two Victorian silver knife rests. These exact knife rests can be found on page 162 of Antique Trader's Metalwares Price Guide which was edited by Kyle Husfloen. The knife rests are not marked and I believe they are silverplate. A magnet will NOT stick to them. They have a rampant lion on each end with a twisted rope between them. The lions are very detailed. The bases have flowers on them. They measure 2 inches by 2-3/8 inches by 4 inches. Each knife rest weighs 177.4 grams. The knife rests are in good condition but may need cleaning or polishing. I purchased these at an estate sale and was told that the woman had bought them at the London Silver Vault. However, I do not have any documentation to back this up.
