Beautiful large size, for cream jug, Ball feet, delicate beading around the edgem and lovely shell perched on the top of the handle, But the nicest thing is engraving of the boar head front, center, Hallmarks are located under the spout,  front, In fine for age condition, there are few dents, around the lower body,  nothing serious,Nice and clean on inside and outside, Measuring about 5 3/4 inches from the spout to the tip of the handle, 3 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches high at the highest point.   Very pretty pattern to these sterling silver spoons. Ornate finial to handle and twist stem with oval plain bowl. Tea or coffee, English size at 11.6 cm long (4.1/2 inches). Hallmarked for London 1900. Maker is Walter and John Barnard. Excellent condition. Spoons come in their original case. The case has some age marks.  Sterling Silver candle holders marked Reed and Barton Sterling weighted and reinforced. They are lovely and in the fine Reed and Barton quality. They are also marked No.431. They are 3 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide. They are as found and could use polishing.  This is Antique,Sterling silver napkin ring, Decorated with subtle horizontal stripes and round medalion designated for monogram, as per images, Hallmarked what it appears to be English hallmarks, which are half erased from age, In very fine condition dents or any other major damage, Measuring about 1 3/4 inches in diameter and over 1 inch high.

Silver caddy spoon with bright work engraving on handle.  Clearly stamped for London 1801, George III period. The maker’s mark is SG over EW over IB - for Samuel Godbehere, Edward Wigan & James Boult. Spoon measures 72 mm by 36.5 mm (2.7/8 inches by about 1.1/2 inches).  It is in very good condition, just a slight crease to top of bowl near the handle. (Easily straightened by a silversmith if desired). Silver weight is 6.39 grams.  English sterling silver toastrack, hallmarked or Chester, 1912. The maker’s marks is R.A. & Co Ltd. Small 4 slice rack, measuring 8 cm high, 8 cm long and 4.9 cm deep (3.1/8 inches by 3.1/8 inches by 2 inches). Excellent condition.  This item is a lovely Sterling Silver Pitcdher made by Durham Silversmiths between 1950 and the 1960's.  This Pitcher is about 10 and 1/4 inches tall to the lip.  The underside is marked Sterling 106 and Durham.  This Pitcher is in excellent condition.  This item is a beautiful set of 12 Sterling Silver Vodka Flutes made by Gorham Silversmiths.  Each Vodka Flute is about 3 and 1//2 inches high and 2 and 1/2 inches across at the top.  All 12 pieces are hallmarked Gorham and are stamped Sterlingt 4671.  In addition, 6 of the Flutes also have a stamped winged foot, while the other 6 Flutes have a stamped acorn.  These are Gorham date marks.  The the acorn is for 1924 and the winged foot is for 1925.  One of these Flutes has a small dent on the rim, but the other 11 Flutes are in excellent condition.

This item is a set of 6 Sterling Silver Fruit Knives.  Each Knife is about 7 inches long.   The blade of each knife has the English Hallmark of WH & SA with 3 arrows crossing three arrows.  Each of the handles has the English Hallmark of a passant lion and M on one side and what appears to be ss in a crown, a passant liuon and M.  These hallmarks ar for the Newcastle, England Registry and indicate the manufacture date of about 1929.  All of thesde Fruit Knives are in excellent condition.  The older box containing thhese knives appears to be leather over wood.  Thge lining of the box says Reid & Sons, Goldsmiths and Jewelers to the Queen and Prince of Wales, Newcastle upon Tyne.  The box is broken and is in two pieces.  The wood of the top is split evenly just babove the hinges.  This item is a lovely Sterling Silver Pedestal Bowl made by Dam and Haff Silversmiths.  This Bowl is about 10 inches across and 2 and 1/2 inches high.  The bottom is marked with the Dam/Haff hallmark along with Sterling; 541/78; and 10 in.   The Bowl is in excellent condition.  Beautiful Victorian Match in great condition. Piece measures 2 3/8 inches by 1.5 inches.  Two sterling silver pots with sprung lids. Hallmarks on the larger pot are for Birmingham 1905, maker is H.W. Ld (for Henry Williamson Ltd)and on the smaller pot Birmingham 1907, maker D & F (Deakin & Francis). Both have a monogram of intertwined initials on the lid. The smaller pot is either B.A.C. or possibly A.B.C. The larger pot is C.L.C.  or something similar - I find it very hard to decipher these entwined letters. "C" seems to be the surname here though.  One possibly for powder, the other for some other unguent. They could be husband and wife -  or brothers, since these could also be for a man’s pomade. Inside, they have both been gilded, although this is largely worn on the smaller pot.  Largest measures 36 mm high and 88 mm diameter (about 1.1/2 inches by 3.1/2 inches). The smaller measures 29 mm high by 83 mm diameter (1.1/8 inches by 3.1/4 inches). Both in excellent condition, although you certainly need fingernails to open them.Weights are 95.93 grams for the larger pot, and 86.84 grams for the smaller pot.

Very pretty little bonbon basket with swing handle and hand sawn cut-work basket. French silver import mark and Netherlands silver export mark.  Dutch marks are on inside rim of basket near the handle. Other marks underneath the base include what appears to be three small crabs in a row, a cross on a striped background, and a rubbed mark. 20th century.  Measures 105 mm high with handle up, 126 mm wide and 103 mm deep (4.1/8 inches high, by 5 inches by 4 inches). Very good condition.

Weight is 110g. Mark is for minimum .800 fineness.  Napkin ring.  American sterling silver.  S. Kirk & Son Repousse.  No monogram.  Circa 1880.  1-7/8" diameter by 1-1/4".  52 grams  IRICE CRYSTAL WITH STERLING SILVER CAPS SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS.

Sterling silver napkin ring, rolled edges, engine-turned wavy design around body, engraved D.W.  Hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1946. Maker’s mark is S.M.L. - possibly Samuel M.Levi.  Very good condition, some age marks. Silver weight is 7.9 grams.  Sterling silver napkin ring with engraved design of acanthus scrolls and rolled edges. The initial panel is engraved with A.W. in flowing script. Hallmarks are for Chester (England) 1924, with maker’s mark being J. & R. G (Joseph & Richard Griffin). Ring measures 20 mm high and 46 mm diameter (3/4 inch by 1.3/4 inches). Excellent condition. Sold as-is.  Silver tea strainer with swing handle and double prong. Interior of strainer has a  beautifully cut design. I’m not at all sure what the prong thing is for - possibly this strainer was made to hand inside something. It carries hallmarks, but I can’t identify them. on the rear of the strainer is a triangular-shaped stamp with a crescent and a separate star, and the letter A.  with another letter which is rubbed. Second mark is like the French mark for .950 silver - Minerva’s head in stamp with chamfered corners.  The prong carries an oblong stamp with pointed ends, containing a star, a dot, a star, and a crescent facing left.  Strainer measures 56.5 mm diameter and 19 mm deep (2.1/4 inches by 3/4 inch).  It has a few minor dents, but over all in excellent condition. Prong is a bit crooked.

Silver weight is 18.95 grams.  Darling sterling silver and glass salt cellar with spoon.  Cherubs and roses motif.  Spoon marked sterling.  2" square by 1-1/4" height.  Unusual Workmanship on this Victorian Pickle/Olive Long Fork with Mother of Pearl Handle and Sterling Silver Ferrole.

Fork 9-1/2", knife 11-1/2".  Little lidded trinket dish, sterling silver top hallmarked for Birmingham, 1904.  Beautiful Art Nouveau flower design embossed to the silver. Crystal large hobnail cut base.  Item measures 30 mm high, 81 mm wide and 36 mm deep (1.3/16 inch by 3.1/4 inches by 1.3/8 inch).  Maker’s mark is E.J.H.

(probably E.J.Houlston).  Just a few absolutely tiny little nicks in the crystal rim, otherwise excellent condition.  Teaspoon.  Chinese Export silver.  Figures seated in garden with unengraved cartouche.  Engraved bamboo motif on back.  HC maker's mark and character marks.  5-1/2" length.  29 grams.  Canadian antique souvenir. Small Edwardian porcelain vase with decoration of hand painted maple leaf with gilded outline. Underneath the leaf is the faint remains of the word "Winnipeg". It has a sterling silver rim, with the English hallmarks for Birmingham, 1907. Vase measures 66 mm high and the base is 54 mm diameter. Top is 26 mm diameter. (2.5/8 inches high, base of 2.1/8  inches, top of 1 inch). A few minor shallow dents in the silver, otherwise excellent condition.

Silver Rimmed Small Vase, Winnipeg. 1907 $34.00

Very Art Deco style, these table knives have Continental silver handles.  The hallmark is for the Netherlands, .835 silver. Knives are 25 cm long (9.3/4 inches).  The blades are sharp, and appear never to have been used.  Excellent condition all round. Probably circa 1930s-60s.  German 800 silver Art Nouveau or Jugendstil napkin ring. The embossed design is wheat ears and leaves, very stylised. The interior of the ring has the remains of gilt wash. Initials H L are engraved on the front - intertwined, beautifully done. Silver stamps are POSEN, a stamped mark of a script letter (can’t identify it), 800, and the German silver marks of the crown and the crescent. Napkin ring measures 32 mm high and 41 mm diameter (1.1/4 inches by 1.5/8 inches).  It weighs approx. 38 grams. Excellent condition. A very attractive item.  Elegant little English sterling silver trinket box - hinged lid and silk -lined interior. Machine engraved top with central initials panel (blank). Hallmarked are for Birmingham 1917. Maker’s mark is D & F, for Deakin and Francis. Box measures 4 cm high, 7.2 cm wide and 5.3 cm deep (just over 1.1/2 inches high, 2.7/8 inch wide and just over 2 inches deep). One or two small shallow indentations on the sides, but otherwise excellent.  Pretty little hobnail cut glass dressing table pot with sterling silver lid. Pot measures 49 mm high and 41 mm diameter (about 2 inches by 1.5/8 inches). It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1921. The date mark is rubbed so a little hard to read, but either 1920 or 1921.  The maker’s mark is H.W. Ld.  Base is in excellent condition, no damage. The top has a couple of minute shallow marks, but overall, excellent condition all round.

Crystal and silver dressing table pot - rectangular, with heavily embossed top of flowers and scrolls. Base is crystal, hobnail cut. Interior of sterling silver lid is gilded. Hallmarked for Birmingham, England, 1903.  Maker’s mark is W.D. (probably the  mark of William Devenport). Excellent condition. No chips to the crystal. No dents or damage to the silver. Measures 30 mm high, 88 mm long and 37 mm wide(1.3/16 inches by 3.7/16 inches by 1.7/16 inches).  VICTORIAN MERIDAN SILVER PLATE COVERED SUGAR BOWL. MADE BY MERIDAN CO. (1867-1941).

NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. SILVER PLATING IS VISIBLY WORN.  see close ups.   This item is a classic and wonderful set of Sterling Silver Salt and Pepper Shakers made by Stieff Silversmiths.  They have a lovely applied Repousse Rose design.  Each Shaker is about 4 and 1/2 inches high and 1 and 5/8 inches across at their widest part.   The bottom of each Shaker is marked Stieff and Sterling along with the letter F and the number 12.  These Salt and Papper Shakers are in exdcellent condition.  This item is a lovely Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs made by Gorham - Whiting Manufacturing Company.  They are made in the Louis XV pattern and date to having been made around 1890.  These lovely Tongs are about 4 and 1/2 inches long and have a wonderful filagree type design on the handle.  The tongs themselvbes are in the shape of a bird's talon.  There is an initial of what appears to be the letter M engraved in the top of the handle.  These Sugar Tongs are in excellent condition.

email me for additional pictures.  Sterling silver rims to these pattern or pressed glass salts - the hallmarks are for Birmingham, England, 1910.  Maker is James Deakin and Sons (James Deakin, William Deakin). Salts each measure 31 mm high and 51 mm diameter (1.1/4 inches by 2 inches).  Apart from some shallow dings in the silver rims, they are in excellent condition.  Sterling Silver Spoon, demitasse, marked with hallmarkd but unable to read. The spoon bowl is very decorative and lined with a gold coating that is rubbed. It is marked in the bowl, Jonesboro, N.D. and has a real neat handle with corn cobs on stalks of corn. A very different, as found spoon.  Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon from Portland, ME. It is in unpolished condition and has the Portland, ME in the spoon with a very thin, delicate looking handle, Marked only, Sterling. From the lettering, it is a nice early spoon.

Sterling Silver Demitase spoon marked IWR. It is in wonderful, unpolished condition with a pretty edging pattern and nicely shaped, pointed end. It is 4 inches long and 3/4 inch wide.  This is for a 5.75 in. high compote from Alvin. The pattern number stamped on the bottom is RC-1566. It also is stamped Alvin E.P. This piece appears to have been made in 1933. This piece needs cleaning but is not damaged that I can see.  Oval 835 silver napkin ring - European, possibly French or Belgian. It carries a stamp of a three-lobed crown, the figures 835S, and another symbol I can’t identify. It also appears to have a sort of crescent before the crown, which would make it Germany, except that the crown is the wrong shape. The item is smaller than an English napkin ring. The name engraved on one side of the ring is J.M.L. de Nivelle, and on the other is the date 24-9-39.  Measures 21.5 mm high, and 52 mm by 22 mm (about 7/8 inch high, and 2 inches by 7/8 inch). Excellent condition. Weight is approx. 9 grams.  Strictly speaking, not a set - but they came to me together and they make a good combination. There are a pair of hobnail crystal open salts with sterling silver rims: these are hallmarked as Birmingham 1898, maker Robert Pringle and Sons. The pepper pot is also hobnail pattern , with an embossed patterned top, hallmarked London 1912, no maker’s mark. The salts each measure 31 mm high and 57 mm diameter (1.1/4 inches by 1.7/8 inches), and the pepper pot is 72 mm high and 44 mm diameter (2.7/8 inches by 1.3/4 inches).  There are a few minor marks on the rims of the salts, commensurate with age. The pepper pot has the top flattened on one side - could easily be straightened, but still screws open OK, and works well. Very attractive items.
