Bright and beautiful, with normal signs of gentle use. Marked with the old "lion anchor G" and "Sterling". No monogram. The 2nd photo shows the largest view if you use the zoom feature.  New Reed & Barton brand all-sterling tea strainer in the Francis I pattern. The stem is marked Sterling Reed & Barton. 7 inches long. Never used.

Vintage 24-piece Enchanting Orchid sterling silver set of flatware by Westmorland. There are six 9-inch knives, six 5-7/8 inch teaspoons, six 7-inch forks; and six 6-inch round-bowl cream soup spoons. Fine to Excellent condition; some normal fine scratches and surface marks on the knife blades from use.


We cannot ship this item outside of the U.S. Please allow 5 business days before we ship.  A small pair of sugar tongs made by the Sterling Silver Mfg. Co. (SSMC) sometime between 1909 and 1932. The charming small sugar tongs are claw grip and only 3" long.  A cut out design indicates the art nouveau period. In excellent condition.  A velvet covered fitted box contains a set of 6 sterling silver and mother of pearl handle knives.  Each knife is 8" long and in excellent condition.  The ferrules are sterling silver and marked.  The blades are steel and are marked with the Elliot mark and the words Joseph Elliot and Sons, Sheffield, Eng. 

The mother of pearl handles are carved in a pleasing design.  Carved handles indicate high quality.  Most handles in similar sets were plain.  

The box is maroon velvet which is in good condition with some nap wear on the front lid and corners.  Inside is fitted to hold these lovely pearl handled knives. A set of 6 from England.  Vintage sterling silver Rose Point serving spoon by Wallace. 8-3/8 inches long. Excellent condition.

We cannot ship this item outside of the US.  A sterling silver demitasse spoon 4" long in excellent condition.  Script monogram on the back LSM.  Maker's mark is visible, but not readable.  Marked Sterling.  A sweet little demitasse spoon in sterling silver made in the later part of the 19th century or the early part of the 20th.  The demitasse spoon is 3.75" long, with a design the length of the handle of feathery acanthus leaves.  In excellent condition.  On the back is the monogram M in script.   A sterling silver mayonnaise or sauce ladle, 5.5" long.  This ladle was made in the French Colonial pattern by Blackinton Silver from 1940 until 1996.  The sterling ladle is in excellent condition and bears the block letter M monogram.

Blackinton French Colonial Mayo Ladle $35.00

This is an early handmade set of sterling silver spoons.  Marked only Sterling, they are of the simple Paul Revere style of the 18th century.  Set of 6 melon or grapefruit spoons.  No embellishment, simple lines and a sharply pointed tip to the bowl.  In excellent condition. 5.5" long.  This elegant set of 6 sterling silver demitasse spoons was made by the Frank M. Whiting Silver Co. ca 1891. The pattern is Louis XV, a discontinued pattern.  The company went out of business after 70 years, in 1960.  

In excellent condition, a lovely set.  Approx. 5" by 2", sterling silver, Gorham, lovely detailed Herald Angel Christmas ornament, near mint condition, tarnished with a nice patina, sold as found, unpolished, no dings nor dents, original, complete, no repairs.  Box and cloth is NOT included.  A strange looking fork, possibly a lemon fork.  I have seen others in this shape but larger for vegetables. Remnants of a gold wash on the tines.  In great condition.  Mark is undecipherable, but says sterling on back. 5.24" long

These small sterling silver tongs may be sugar tongs or sweetmeat tongs.  The ends are not cupped or clawed, but straight across.  Heavy sterling silver in a Georgian style.  Monogram M.  There are hallmarks, but I cannot make them out.   A beautiful classic sauce ladle made by the Gebelein firm in Boston ca 1908-09.  Lovely soft patina and in excellent condition. 5.25" long. George Christian Gebelein was perhaps America's foremost silversmith of the 20th century.  Approx. 4" long, stamped David Andersen Norway Sterling silver. Lovely weight, red, white and blue enameling, unpolished, lovely patina, crest with anchor on the end, PORSGRUNN down the handle.

 Little marmalade or jelly or jam spoon, 1800s, stamped, British English hallmarks, lightweight, about 3.5" long, wonderful unpolished patina, appears to be coin silver, possibly sterling, marks are faint, excellent condition, no dents or damage.

This item is a wonderful boxed set o0f Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoons made by Carl M. Cohr Silversmiths of Denmark sometime around 1900.  Each Spoon is approximately 3 inches long and is marked COHR Sterling, Denmark.  The box the Spoons are contained in appears to be leather over wood with a satin lining.  The lining is marked The Little Shop Inc, St Thomas VI and the words "It's Danishy".  The Box and all six Spoons are in excellent condition.  Stamped sterling silver, from my personal collection, about 1.5" long, figural 3 dimensional sword pendant or large charm.  Age unknown, mint condition.  Reed & Barton 6.5" sterling silver Petite Server for pastries. It is hollow handled and has a sterling blade. The pattern is Guildhall made from 1941 through 2005. Now discontinued. This lovely little server is in excellent condition.  A spoon shaped lapel pin showing the owner's preference for the Queen's Lace pattern of National Sterling Silver.  In excellent condition.  From the 1950s.  4" long.

Antique 4-1/2 inch sterling silver ladle by Baker Manchester in an unnamed pattern. The bowl has a floral design and the back of the stem is stamped "Sterling" and bears the Baker Manchester maker's mark. It looks like the inside of the bowl was gold washed; a bit of gold still remains. Very good to excellent condition. This pattern was discontinued around 1915.

The bowl of the spoon was gold washed when it was new, but the gold has worn off. The monogram looks like "M". This pattern was discontinued in 1914.

It has a shell shaped bowl and repousse scroll design handle. Stamped Sterling. In excellent used condition.  Gorham Decor pattern sterling silver salt spoon. 2.75" long.  It is a graceful curving pattern with a shell and plume design. This lovely little spoon has a couple of light scratches on the handle.Otherwise in very good condition. A popular pattern that was issued in 1953 and discontinued in 1991.

10 Strawberry Forks Sterling and Enamel $475.00

Set of six fruit spoons.  American sterling silver by Thomas G. Brown & Sons, New York 1881-1915.  5-3/4" length.  Total weight 178 grams.  Engraved "Stimson" the distinguished Seattle family.  Large German 800 silver serving spoon with figure of Napoleon on handle with eagle in laurel wreath and crowned N for Napoleon.  10-1/4" length.  132 grams.  Maker Simon Rosenau, Bad Kissinger, Germany.  Early 20th century.  This is a gorgeous set of 12 English hallmarked sterling silver teaspoons in their original satin lined leatherette box. They are hallmarked for 1934 Sheffield and the registry mark shows the pattern was registered in 1923. The have an elegant curved art deco design handle and measure 5 inches long each. The spoons are in absolutely perfect condition but the box has both hinges missing and is held in place with the satin strips inside.  This item is a beautiful and unique Edwardian Period boxed Sterling Silver Berry Set consisting of two (2)large Berry Spoons and a large sugar sifter/spoon.  All three pieces were made sometime between 1901 and 1902.  The two large Berry spoons are about 9 inches long and both have the face of the Northwind in the bowl.  On one he is smiling and in the other he is frowning. These two Spoons have the hallmark of London, England Silversmiths James Wakely and Frank Wheeler.  The Sugar Sifter/Spoon is about 6 inches long and also has the face of the Northwind in the bowl.  This Sifter/Spoon has the Dublin, Ireland hallmark of West and Sons.  West and Sons Silversmiths of Dublin were also importers and exporters who fashioned the design of their sugar sifters/spoons to match the Berry Spoons of other Silversmiths, thus making a matched set.  The box for this set is leather covered and velvet and satin lined with the embossed label of by Appointment (two Crowns), West and Sons 18 & 19 College Green, Dublin.  All three of these Spoons are in excellent condition.

This item is a lovely Sterling Silver Pastry Server.  The blade is marked Stainless and the handle is marked Sterling.  It is abpout 7 inches long.  The handle has a floral pattern design.  This Pastry Server is in excellent condition.  Approx. 4 1/4" long, stamped sterling silver, wonderful and sweet miniature fork, for h'ordeurves.  Engraved with Edwardian script monogram, appears to be a "P", easily buffed out if desired, sold unpolished, as found.  Approx. 4" sterling silver antique demitasse spoon, art nouveau era piece, lovely design, sold as found, unpolished, good vintage condition.  Looks to have the engraved initials: MB, very faint, unmarked otherwise, perhaps the maker's mark has worn off?  Possibly shows on the back side a bit of residual hallmark.


Spoon dates to the mid to late 1800s.  Close to a half ounce.

Little mini ladel, about 3 1/4" long, signed, excellent vintage condition, sold as found, unpolished, monogram in cursive Victorian script looks like FEB or JEB.  Approx. 4.5", lovely round bowl, circa mid 1900s, stamped sterling silver, miniature ladel, perfect as a jam or jelly spoon, or some sort of serving spoon.

WEIGHS 11 GRAMS. VERY GOOD CONDITION.  Lovely antique late 1800s stamped sterling silver souvenir spoon, 5", demitasse perhaps? spoon.  Dated "PAT 1891".  Wonderful relief design with the 1776 Liberty Bell and the Independance Hall building in the bowl of the spoon. Handle is decorated on the back too. 


Weighs approx. 18 grams.


Excellent vintage condition, lovely unpolished patina, no damage or repair, authentic, sold as found.  Approximately 25 grams total weight, or close to an ounce of coin silver, very old, circa mid 1840s, "M.W." initials on handle, bowls of spoons have slight wear but are in good condition, nice patina, each spoon hallmarked:
