5 cent Christmas stamp on a vintage 1967 envelope postmarked from the town of Bethlehem, GA. The envelope has a lovely inscription of the beloved carol " O Little Town of Bethlehem" and a verse from that hymn. Well preserved stamp inscribed 'Memling National Gallery of Art. It and the envelope are in mint condition. Remarkably, the postmark date of the envelope also happens to be the birth date of late actress Rebecca Schaeffer, who was born on Nov. 6, 1967. She co-starred with Pam Dawber in the 1980's tv sit-com, "My Sister Sam". No relation to the collectible item listed here, other than the postmark date coinciding with her birthday.  6 cent stamp and Canadian envelope "commemorating the Season Spring". Well preserved. Mint condition.  Including envelope postmarked Jan. 30, 1982 from Hyde Park, NY, the birth place of Franklin D. Roosevelt, on the centennial date of his birth. Well preserved. Mint condition.  Stamp on envelope postmarked Apr 26, 1967 from Audubon, NY. Well preserved.

1940s Dog Law Enforcement Postal Card Set of 2. Addressed to Blair W. Egge, Agent. This set of two government-issued postal cards shows the transition between the 1c and 2c rate at the time. The added 1c stamp has LSB (or a portion of LSB on some sets) punched into it. These postal cards are used only in the sense that they have been previously owned. There are no cancellation marks to indicate that they were ever sent through the mail. Good condition with no tears.  Set of 3 Dog Law Enforcement postal cards from the 1940s, stamped with the name of a local agent. This set shows the transition from the one cent postage to two cents by the addition of the applied stamp. Postal cards are in good condition with no tears, light aging.  1946 Keystone Hide Co Customer Contact Postcard. Twin sided 1c Jefferson advertising postal card sent to cattle, horse and sheep farmers to acquire hides for the Lancaster based Keystone Hide Co. 1940s pricing on one side and shipping info on the other. Addressed and postmarked Lancaster April 13, 1946. This antique advertising postal card bears the imprint of the 1c Jefferson stamp. Very light "wrinkling" on flaps. Flap still have original gum. No writing, no soiling. Upper right corner has printed Gold Coast "stamp" that is overprinted with the words "Ghana Independence 6th March 1957".  1958 Inauguration of Ghana Airways First Day Cover. This First Day of Issue envelope has the colorful Ghana Air Lines logo, plus four colorful stamps depicting natural and engineered flight. Marked with a July 15, 1958 postmark from Accra Ghana, it is sealed and unstamped on the back. Condition is very good, paper is clean on front and has only very light markings on the back.

This First Day of Issue envelope is printed and postmarked May 26, 1958 and has the four colored Gold Coast Stamps commemorating Ghana Independence on March 6th 1957. The envelope is naturally yellow and is sealed. We have three at the time of listing. Each is also stamped with a May 26, 1958 New York NY Registry Div. stamping, plus an oval purple stamping indicating Day of Issue and containing a graphic design with two eagles, the words Freedom and Justice, a star, and a shield. Each has a blue on white rectangular Registry No from Accra-B. The numbers are 3504, 5208, and 5209. Envelopes are in very good condition with a clean front and very light darkening along pressure points on the back. There is a transparent, removable layer on which we can find information on the stamps. The litho is in fine condition, the layer has a 1.5 inch tear at the left side. Size, each: 12.2 x 9.8 inches. Fine condition. Issued by Brockhaus, litho by F. A. Brockhaus’ Geographic-Artistic Institute Leipzig, 1905.
