Sent Constantin to Vienna. Attached is an overprinted Austrian 5 Heller stamp for use in Turkey.


One corner with repair otherwise fine  World War 1: Vintage postcard depicting refugees for East-Prussia, arriving in Elbing.

2 better field post cancellations: K.D. Feld Postexpedition Guard of the Cavalry Division and Queen Victoria of Great Britain and Ireland Guard of Dragoon Reg. – stamp.


Fine condition.  1941, WWII: Scarcer, self made postcard sent from the penal camp STALAG 279 in Belgrade. The postcard has a black Beograd1 – 22 July 1941 – cancellation and red Censor-marks STALAG 279 – strikes.


Sent to penal camp XVII in Njemacka and forwarded to another prison camp in Schalladorf.


Some aging, no bends.  1890: Russian Postal, sent Card St. Petersburg to Austrian Silesia.


Russian Empire, 1890: 4 Kopek postal-card, sent from St. Petersburg to Freudenthal in Silesia ( Austria by that time ). The sender was Ed. Stephany. His seals are stamped – in Russian and English.


There is a scarcer Cyrillic St. Petersburg – cancellation at the middle-left part and a Freudenthal arrival-mark at the upper left.


Fine condition.

Old Poland: Russian 3 Kopek postal card, upfranked with a 1 Kopek stamp. Sent Warsaw to Wien. Clear Cyrillic Warsaw cancellation, Wien arrival-mark.


Fine condition.  1890: Postal cover sent from Jerusalem per vessel U. S. America to Pottsville Pennsylvania. Attached is an overprinted Austrian stamp 10 Para on 3 Kreuzer tied by a Oesterreichische Post in Jerusalem – cancellation.


The sender was " Widow Scheindel Kirschenbaum, Jerusalem, Palestine".


Minor wear.  Antique letter from 1862: Complete letter with 3 x 5 Kreuzer stamps, tied by SOBOTKA – cancellations. Sent as registered letter from Smichow to Prag.


Wax seal. Neat writing. Fine condition. ( One tear at the wax seal, where the letter has been opened, has been repaired with a adhesive strip).

Imperial Austro Hungarian Empire: Postal cover sent Kolin to Pesth ( Budapest ). Attached is a 9 Kreuzer stamp with broad margins ( lower left corner has a fault ), otherwise fine condition.


Sent from Kolin / Bohemia ( now Czech Republic ) to a well known pharmacist, Dr. Daniel Wagner.


This stamp is from the oldest, first Austrian stamp series.

Decorative, Official First Day cover from 1957: " Jubilee Jamboree Sutton Coldfield Aug. 1st – 12th 1957".


Imprint of a happy boy scout. Jubilee Jamboree stamp attached. Unused, fine condition.


The Jubilee Jamboree Sutton Coldfield Festival was held in Sutton Park from the 1st to the 12th August 1957. It was one of the biggest events ever held in Sutton Coldfield, as scouts from 85 countries converged on the Park to celebrate 50 years of scouting and the centenary of Lord Baden Powell’s birth.


The catalogue value is ca. US$ 50.  Old, complete letter from 1957, sent Olmütz to Littau ( previous Austria, now Czech Republic). Attached is a 3 Kreuzer stamp with an Olmütz, 8. June – cancellation.


Type III/c. Complete letter, wax seal at the flip side, fine condition.  Austria, Italy 1865: Clean letter, sent Padua to Bassano. The letter is written in Italian.


Attached is an Austrian 5 Soldi stamp for usage in Lombardy – Venetia. Full Padova – cancellation.


Carefully opened ( knife cut ), small blemish. Neat writing. 9 x 11 inches.


Padua (Italian: Padova) is a city in the Veneto, northern Italy. It is the capital of Padova province and the economic and communications hub of the province.  5 Kreuzer postal card with 20 Para overprint sent from Turkey to Austria.

An 86 page 1981 album prepared by Stanley Gibbons containing 508 mint postage stamps in 254 gutter pairs from 86 countries of the Commonwealth. In very good condition.  B / w postcard depicting the Yedi – Koule Portal ( La Porte doree a Yedi – Koule ). 


The postcard has been sent to Wien. Turkish cancellation ( complete – though only upper part is clear ). Red Austrian Censor – mark ( Zensuriert K. u. K. Zensurstelle Wien ).


Black Turkish Censor strike.  „71 „ – mark.


Fine condition.

 1942: Deutsche Dienstpost Boehmen und Maehren. It is a postcard exchanged by 2 German soldiers, sent Friedberg ( Maehren ) to Wriezen / Oder.

Clear Bordeaux 1941 cancellation on Scott# 397 as ship post Bordeaux to Tonnay-Charente. Small part of flap missing.  Letter sent Scheveningen / Netherlands to Wien. Opened by Nazi censors, resealed. Oberkommando der Wehrmacht - censor strikes. Clean, fine condition.  Marseilles to Wankitoa in Sweden. French card, Marseilles cancellation, Stockholm arrival strike. Rather scarce SASSNITZ - TRELLEBOURG ship cancellation. Very fine condition  Feldpostbrief ( Field Post Letter ) with a scarce cancellation Kommando Briefstempel S. M. S. Hagen. Only the highest ranking officials were allowed to send a letter by using that stamp. The cover has been roughly opened at top so there are some splits. Otherwise it is fresh an clean with a clear cancellation and neat writing.

2 Kreuzer Emperor Franz Joseph (ANK 35 I f - brown orange), tied by an oval shaped Triest cancellation. This is the scarcer color variety with a scarcer 9 : 9 1/2 perforation. The stamp and the whole cover are in fine shape.  1940 Italian Letter with clear Fiume cancellation, sent Goerkau in Germany and then forwarded. Opened by Nazi censors, Oberkommando der Wehrmacht - censor strikes. Clean.  1913: Very early and important Austrian private mailing card, averting for Conrad Sild Co. who used to trade Coffee from Brazil. High catalog value ( Euro 100 - 125 after Ferchenbauer reference catalogue - appr. $100). First Austrian color advertising on private mail. Undivided back, minor aging, very attractive.  1919: Hungary. Great philately letter with "Baranya" overprints on 13 stamps. Great cover of Hungary 1919: 13 stamps with "Baranya" overprints, one with additional KOZTARSASAG overprint. Fine condition.

Very scarce item, clean and fresh. The value of this stamp as Warshaw Stadtpost usage is much higher.  10 Filler stationery with additional Scott# C4 on a card Budapest to Sopron. Bleaching of the card. Scarce usage.  WWII: German advertising postcard ( window manufacturer ) with reply part. Hindenburg perfin. Fine condition.  W.W.I: POW Marocco. b/w card depicting a  young man in traditional outfit. The postcard has been sent from the prison camp CAMP PERTEAUX to Paris. Fine condition.
