Barkcloth- The scene on this fabric includes a beautiful 2 story home surrounded by huge oak trees. There are fox hunters on horses, some of the men are standing with dogs running around them. The colors are browns, blues, yellows, black and reds. Curtain panel measures 65 inches X 30 inches. The top has a 3 1/2 hem and bottom has a 1/2" hem, the sides each have a 1 1/2" hem. Measurements do not include the hems, this can be added to the length and width. The fabric has 2 pieces of fabric stitched together, one 45", one 21". This was done professionally,when the curtains were made. The print matches up perfectly. Seams are marked VAT DYES, Pre Shrunk. Fabric is in medium weight, vintage and in very good condition. Why buy retro new when you can have the vintage real thing?  Fabric- This small piece of fabric has a French Quarter feel. It has wrought iron fencing and homes with pink and burgundy flowers and lots of greenery. The fabric measures 45 inches wide and 17 inches long. It is marked on the edge- Maison Des Fleurs A Hand Print. Perfect for making pillows, in great condition. Why buy retro new when you can have the vintage real thing?  Vintage barkcloth cotton panel has the most wonderful tropical look with peach and brown leaves. The background is a pale creamy off-white. Fabric panel is marked- Palmetto Town and Country VAT Print Preshrunk. Fabric panel is in very, nice condition with no obvious stains or holes. 2 1/3 yards, 45 inches wide. Why buy retro new when you can have the vintage real thing?  VINTAGE ART MODERNE LATE 1940'S OR EARLY 1950'S ABSTRACT BARKCLOTH FABRIC. THE TYPICAL MID-CENTURY PERIOD COLOURS ARE DEEP GREEN, BUTTERY YELLOW, OFF WHITE, AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF BROWN. HERE ARE 2 PAIRS OF DRAPERY PANELS: 2 PIECES ARE 34" WIDE X 63" LONG, AND 2 ARE 3O" WIDE X 63" LONG. IGNORING THE PLEATS, LAID OUT FLAT, THE FABRIC MEASURES 45" WIDE. IF YOU WANT TO HANG THEM AS CURTAINS, THE LINING IS NOT IN GOOD SHAPE, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED, AND THERE ARE ALSO SOME SUN STREAKS. BUT IF YOU WANT TO CUT THEM UP FOR PILLOWS, CHAIR COVERS, ETC., THERE IS STILL OF LOT OF USABLE MATERIAL HERE. I'M JUST TRYING TO POINT OUT ALL THE FLAWS. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT BARKCLOTH IS FULLY WASHABLE, AND IN COLD WATER SHOULD NOT FADE VERY MUCH AT ALL. OVERALL YOU WOULD HAVE ALMOST 7 YARDS OF INTERESTING FABRIC TO WORK WITH.

1940'S OR 1950'S VINTAGE MODERNE BARKCLO $45.00
FABULOUS ART MODERNE 1940'S VINTAGE TROPICAL BARKCLOTH FABRIC--NEVER USED. THIS WONDERFUL FIND IS A QUINTESSENTIAL EXAMPLE OF THE PERIOD. THE COLOURS ARE PERFECT FOR DECORATING A MID-CENTURY OR RETRO ROOM. THIS WOULD BE ESPECIALLY GOOD WITH WICKER OR BAMBOO. THE MEDIUM GREY BACKGROUND SETS OFF THE VIBRANT BURGUNDY, DEEP ROSY PINK, CHARTREUSE, AND 3 SHADES OF GREEN. HUGE ROSES AND HIBISCUS ARE THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS. 45" WIDE X 7 YARDS LONG--THE FIRST YARD IS SOILED, BUT COULD STILL BE USED. IF YOU'RE GOING FOR A PERIOD LOOK, THIS FABRIC WILL GIVE YOU A LOT OF BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.
