DRESSER OR MANTEL SCARF. HAND EMBROIDERED AND HAND CROCHETED EDGE. BACK EDGE IS FLAT. 18" X 39". NOT PERFECT. HAS A COUPLE OF SPOTS, AN AGE YELLOWED FOLD AND A SMALL HOLE. STILL A NICE DOILIE. Price reflects condition.  WHITE ON WHITE TABLECLOTH & 8 NAPKINS. BEATUIFUL SCROLL PATTERN WITH SHINY, SHIMMERY BACKGROUND. QUALITY LINEN. TABLECLOTH 80in X 62in, 8 LARGE NAPKINS 15 1/2in WIDE. NO HOLES OR WORN SPOTS. DOES HAVE SOME YELLOWED STAINS, I DID NOT WASH, SOME MIGHT SOAK OUT. Makes a beautiful table.  This pair of lovely handmade whitework cotton pillow cases dates to the 1890’s and were done in Italy. The handwork includes exquisitely embroidered openwork florals that go up three sides, not just at the corners or at one end. The drawn work that connects the borders to the main section is as intricate as a spider’s web and in excellent condition. They are still very white with only a few small pinprick sized rust spots. One tiny tear (less than 1/2”) appears in one of the openwork florals...no detraction from the piece at all. They open on the horizontal and have cotton ties for securing the pillow inside. They are really more like shams than cases because the border stands out from the pillow. They are generously sized at 31 1/4” x 20” outside dimensions and 26” x 17 1/4” inside where the pillow goes. Surely they were part of the young lady’s trousseau and heirloom quality to be sure.  DOILIE SCARF HAND ENBROIDERED WITH HAND CROCHETED EDGE. DESIGN AT BOTH ENDS. 10in X 18in. SMALL BROWN SPOTS ON BOTTON RIGHT HAND EDGE (see scan) OTHERWISE EXCELLENT CONDITION.

COTTON DOILIE DRESSER SCARF HAND EMBROID $6.50
Tatted doily in ecru color. Measures just over 7" in diameter. Very nice workmanship. Not many doilies are found that are tatted, most are crocheted or knitted.  Fine linen cutwork rectangular doily/centerpiece. This has very fine detail and the workmanship is excellent. A light tan color. Measures 15" by 9 ½". The only flaws that I can find is a ¼" tear at one of the edges of the hem. Otherwise this early piece is in very good condition and would look lovely on your holiday table.  SET OF 4 TEA NAPKINS. HAND CROSS STITCHED EMBROIDERED TEAPOT, SUGAR AND CREAM IN ONE CORNER. WHITE COTTON. HAND STITCHED HEMS. 9in. SQUARE. NO HOLES OR STAINS, EXCELLENT CONDITION. PRICE IS FOR 4.  A pair of very pretty peach and yellow cotton guest or tea towels. Open work at the bottom and fancy stitching along the edges make these as dainty as can be. They are 17" long x 9" and in perfect condition. Use your imagination with these.

Dainty red embroidery on a tan background are featured on this pair of very crisp, linen tea towels and I don't believe were ever used. There is a very small rust stain where I think the original price tag once was, or else the set would be perfect. The towels measure 13 1/2" x 20" and the price reflects their condition.  DRESSER SCARF HAND EMBROIDERED BASKET DESIGN AT EACH END. HAND CROCHETED LACE EDGE. HAND HEM. 43in X 14in. HAS A FEW TINY SPOTS, NO HOLES OR RIPS. HEAVY LINEN.  VINTAGE NAPKIN HAND EMBROIDERED WITH FLORAL DAISY DESIGN ON OFF-WHITE BACKGROUND. LIGHT GREE HAND STITCHED EDGE. 15in WIDE. EXCELLENT CONDITON. NO HOLES OR STAINS.
